Three sisters, raped by Ghaddafis forces in Misrata are murdered by their father in order to keep the family "honor"

Three sisters in Libya, first victims of war then victims of Islam.  They suffered the indignity of being raped by soldiers, and then, for the family honor their father slit their throats.  Any culture which has to resort to the killing of a family member to maintain some kind of honor is not a culture which holds the ideal of life above the ideal of death.  This is reserved for only one belief system...

This is Islam.

Father slit throats of three daughters in 'honour killing' after they were raped by Gaddafi's troops

A father slit the throat of his three teenage daughters in an ‘honour killing’ after they were raped by Gaddafi loyalists during the siege of the port city of Misrata.

Allegations of the shocking executions are contained in a report by the respected Physicians for Human Rights group into war crimes and atrocities in the embattled city, which faced two months of being cut off from the rest of Libya.

The father is said to have carried out the ‘honour killings’ because of his humiliation and shame at the rape of the sisters – aged 15, 17 and 18 – in Tomina, on the outskirts of Misrata. The victims were not named.

The horrific story was one of a number to emerge from Misrata after the group sent in a team of interviewers in June to catalogue human rights abuses just after Libyan forces expelled Gaddafi loyalists.

Karzai torpedoes Taliban-US talks for fear of being left out of the loop

Ego aside for a moment, the fact that we would even think to engage the Taliban and negotiate with them as though they are every bit honorable or responsible as any other nemesis we have sat down and hashed out problems with is ludicris at best and dangerous at worst.  Being that we always believe we can talk it out, it is no wonder the WH is dedicated to finding a way to get the Taliban to sit down and negotiate in good faith.  However it is a fools errand which will yield only heartbreak for us and victory for Islam.

From the Mail Online August 30 by Oliver Pickup

Secret U.S.-Taliban talks were closing on deal to free kidnapped army sergeant before being scuppered by Karzai aides

Secret talks between representatives of the United States and the Taliban were closing in on a deal to free a kidnapped army sergeant, but were scuppered when Hamid Karzai's aides leaked information about them.

Both U.S. and Afghan officials confirmed that the 54-year-old Afghan president kiboshed potential horse-trading with the Taliban, as he feared being out of the loop.

Though the discussions, held in Germany and Qatar, were only at a preliminary stage, a trade which would see Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, of Hailey, Idaho, captured two years ago, was mooted.

In return, the talks centred on the release of a number of Afghan prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, as well as the Bagram airbase.

But before any deals could be firmed up, Mr Karzai's aided leaked knowledge of the talks to the press, and all hope of striking a clandestine agreement were gone.

The Afghan president felt as though he was being undercut, according to U.S. officials close to the deals.

According to an unnamed senior Western diplomat in the region a childhood friend of his, Tayyab Aga, was the Taliban negotiator.

Since the secret talks were discovered, Mr Aga has fled and gone in to hiding, for fear of his life, but to the chagrin of the negotiators who have been left to rue Mr Karzai's reported intervention.

The U.S. negotiators asked Mr Aga what could be done to gain Bergdahl's release. The discussion did not get into specifics but it is understood Mr Aga suggested - by way of a trade - the release of Afghan prisoners at Guantanamo Bay and at Bagram airbase.

Collapse of the direct talks between Mr Aga and U.S. officials probably spoiled the best chance yet at reaching Mullah Mohammed Omar, considered the linchpin to ending the Taliban fight against the U.S.-backed government in Afghanistan.

Perhaps most importantly they offered the tantalising prospect of a brokered agreement between the U.S. and the Taliban - one that would allow the larger reconciliation of the Taliban into Afghanistan political life to move forward.

Legitimize that group who want sharia and pure Islam to reign supreme.  Good job!

The United States has not committed to any such deal, but the Taliban wants security assurances from Washington.

In a series of interviews with diplomats, current and former Taliban, Afghan government officials and a close childhood friend of Mr Aga, the information suggests that the man who was brokering the deals for the Taliban is now hiding in Europe, and is afraid to return to Pakistan fearing reprisals.

The United States, for example, has had no direct contact with him for months. A senior U.S. official acknowledged that the talks imploded because of the leak and that Mr Aga, while alive, had disappeared.

Officials had been hoping that the negotiations would lead them to the Taliban's supreme leader, Mullah Mohammed Omar.

And once we found him, then what?  We sit for tea and discuss means of mutual cooperation while glad-handing and genuflecting to our soon to be overlords?

While the U.S. will continue to pursue talks, the trust of such meetings have been affected.

Muslim on Muslim jihad in Pakistan...again

It's Shia vs Sunni no matter where you go, Pakistan just happens to be the murder du-juor.

11 dead, 21 injured when the bomber tried to ram his car into a mosque during the festival of Eid.  Failing that he detonated the bomb in the parking lot.  I guess if you cannot be with the one you want to kill, kill the ones your with.

From M&C August 31

Suicide bombing near Pakistani mosque kills 11

Islamabad - A car suicide bombing on Wednesday killed at least 11 people and injured 21 in south-west Pakistan, police said.

The attack took place in the parking lot of a mosque when hundreds of Shia Muslims were leaving after Eid al Fitr prayers for the end of Ramadan in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province.

'The attacker wanted to ram the explosive-laden car into Eid Gah (the mosque) but the explosion occurred in the parking lot,' city police chief Ahsan Mehboob said, adding that due to 'tight security' around the mosque the attacker could not get beyond the car park.

'The death toll now is 11 as one among the 22 injured people died at the hospital,' Mehboob said. 'Two women and a boy are among the dead. They were present in a nearby park.'

Television footage showed clouds of smoke rising from the car park where more than 10 vehicles caught fire following the blast. Two nearby houses were also damaged.

No one has so far claimed responsibility for the attack on the Shia mosque.

Abdul Khaliq Hazara from the Hazara Democratic Party condemned the attack and expressed grave concern over the regular attacks against Shia Muslims in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.

Shias in Quetta mostly belong to the Hazara ethnic group, members of which have migrated from the north-western region of Hazara.

Hundreds of people have died in the clashes between minority Shia and majority Sunni Muslims across Pakistan in recent years.

20% of American-Muslims know about jihad plots, says new poll

Contrasting another recent poll where American-Muslims claim they are happy living in the US and like their communities, this one shows the dark side of Islam in America.  If one in five Muslims are privy to jihadist inculcation and Islamist propaganda, obviously coming from their local mosque, and they say nothing to law enforcment, what are we to think about who their loyalties are geared towards?  The satisfaction Muslims say they experience as Americans is belied by their lack of cooperation and openess to inquiry when confronted with jihadist and Islamists in their midst.

One in five US Muslims knows of extremist support in community

One in five American Muslims knows of support for extremism in their community, new research has found, despite Muslims being far happier about the state of the US than other groups.
As the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks approaches, 21 per cent of respondents told a study they had detected "a great deal" or "a fair deal" of support for extremism in their areas.
While the vast majority said that suicide bombings and other forms of violence against civilians to protect Islam were never justified, 19 per cent of respondents did not agree with this statement.
Peter King, a Republican congressman for New York, said the findings "reinforce the need" for him to continue holding controversial hearings on the radicalisation of American Muslims.
"There is a small percentage of American Muslims who are sympathetic to al-Qaeda. al-Qaeda is trying to recruit them. They are the ones we should be looking for," said Mr King.
The study, by the Pew Research Centre, found 56 per cent of Muslims were "satisfied with the current direction of the country", compared to just 23 per cent of the population at large.

Former Gitmo detainee requests the Saudis expell all non-Muslims from the Kingdom

What is he, some kind of Islamophobe?

Ibrahim al-Rubeish is a former Guantanamo captive, now a member of Al-Qaeda and he wants non-Muslims to get out of the land of the two holy places.  Isn't it nice to see one of those who we held in detention, gave everything requested to make their stay a bit more reasonable and accomodated them in every way, go right back to their jihadist ways.  I am glad to see my tax dollars working to keep us safe.

Qaeda chief tells Saudi prince to expel non-Muslims

A senior Saudi member of Al-Qaeda warned the interior minister that he should expel non-Muslims from the kingdom, among other demands to stop considering him a target, in an online audio message.
Ibrahim al-Rubeish, a former Guantanamo detainee, addressed Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz with seven measures which he considered essential for "reform" in the ultra-conservative Gulf state and for the prince's own safety, SITE Intelligence reported on Monday.
The measures included expelling non-Muslims from the Arabian Peninsula, repealing all man-made laws and instituting (Islamic) sharia-based governance, the US-based monitoring service said.
They also included releasing prisoners, allowing preachers to speak with impunity and removing themselves as obstacles to those who wish to support Muslims in Iraq and the Palestinian territories, it added.
"This is the path if you wish to survive. If you do this, I will guarantee that the mujahedeen will not prepare another trap for you and that you will sleep safely in your bed and you will go as you please without fearing anyone," Rubeish said.

The son a mother didn't know

Here is a case study in what a mother believes and the son who proved her wrong.  We raise our kids as ourselves, train them to be the best person they can be and we believe they will become what we want for them, but by their own hand in their own time.

Robert B. took the path of the jihadist, believing in paradise for those who "...slay and are slain for Allah..."(9-111).

Poor mum.

From Spiegel Online August 30 by Julia Juttner

The Path of a Young German Salafist

A mother can't be fooled, and a mother notices when her child goes astray, says Marlies B. That's why she called the state authorities in October 2010 and asked if she needed to be worried about her son.
Her son Robert had changed. He'd converted to Islam, forsaken pork and alcohol, and now he wore a knit wool cap and wandered the city of Solingen, northeast of Cologne, in floor-length garments. Marlies B. says she'd never seen him this way. People asked her about it, and it was embarrassing. It frightened her.
At the end of July -- after a period when she couldn't reach him, either on his cell phone or at his apartment -- she printed out a statement from his bank account. (Robert had given her notarized power of attorney years before.) She noticed a flight booked for €447 ($647), and "all of my alarm bells went off," she says. She drove to a national-security office in Wuppertal.
"You're son is doing well," an official told her, asking her to take a seat in the hall. Marlies B. had an uneasy feeling. A mother knows, she says. Two other officials came upstairs. They had just searched Robert's apartment, and they told her that her son had been in a London prison since July 15.
Al-Qaida Propaganda
He'd taken the ferry to Dover with Christian E., another convert from Solingen, who had a criminal record. At the border they told authorities they had planned to fly from Brussels to Egypt, but the tickets were too expensive. So they'd settled on Great Britain instead.
Officials searched their bags and found handbooks for jihadists, a bomb-making pamphlet called, "How to Make a Bomb in the Kitchen of Your Mom," and an essay on "39 Ways to Support Jihad," written by the radical imam Anwar al-Awlaki -- all propaganda material for al-Qaida. Both Germans were sent to Belmarsh, a high-security prison in south London, and isolated in solitary confinement.
"I fear that the English justice system will crack down like it did in the recent riots, and we want to prevent that," says Robert's attorney, Burkhard Benecken. His client faces up to 10 years in prison. But under German law his actions were not punishable. This week, Benecken and Robert's mother are flying to London; it will be her first visit with her son since he was arrested.
A Victim of the Stasi
Marlies B. grew up in the GDR, the former East Germany. By the age of 13, she'd had experience with the Stasi. Her parents' bakery was bugged, and her father fled to West Germany in 1969. She later was caught trying to flee to the West and spent seven weeks in custody in Görlitz, before serving a year in prison in Hohenleuben.
She was one of the 33,755 political prisoners whose freedom was purchased by the West German government. On March 13, 1985 she arrived first at a relocation camp in Giessen, then went to Unna, and in the end arrived at a temporary home in Solingen. That is where she met Robert's father, an independent craftsman 15 years her senior. They later married.
Marlies B. is now 57 years old. She's a petite woman with deeply set blue eyes. She wears glasses, and her dyed black hair has bangs cropped short. Her faced is lined with wrinkles. She calls her first husband a "criminal swine who was locked up in all the GDR jails." He almost killed her once, she says, by smashing a bottled of sparkling wine on her head in a drunken rage.
Robert's father, she says, was the first man who was good to her. He died at the age of 46, of lung cancer caused by a grinding machine he used. His death came three days before Robert's 13th birthday. Her son missed him greatly.
Even as a child, Robert was an outsider and was bullied and chased across the school yard. He dropped out of school in the 9th grade. When he was 17 he joined the military, with his mother's approval, and volunteered to go to Afghanistan. He dreamed of riding in a tank. But he wound up on desk duty. When this duty grew boring, he started spreading right-wing propaganda on the Internet. He hung a Hitler portrait over his bunk. He was forced to leave the army.
He then earned his secondary-school school diploma. In the summer of 2010 he finished training as a warehouse clerk. But he wasn't hired. Robert had long had other plans...

Chechnya jihad kills seven

There are one million Sunnis in Chechnya, and they have been fighting for their own little sharia-compliant slice of Eastern Europe for years now.  This latest notice of intent followed the usual pattern: set off the first bomb, wait for the rescuers to arrive then set off the secomd blast.   This is the all too cruel method of jihadists to cause maximum carnage...

This is Islam.

From CNN August 30

Russian report: 7 dead in 2 blasts in Chechnya

(CNN) -- Two blasts -- the second coming after police and passersby had gathered at the site of the first -- killed seven people and wounded 18 Tuesday evening in the Russian republic of Chechnya, according to the Russian news agency RIA Novosti.

The state-run agency said the first blast occurred when officers attempted to detain a suspected militant in the Chechen capital of Grozny. About 30 minutes after that explosion, a second blast hit the same area after people had gathered there, RIA Novosti said.

The news agency quoted Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov as saying five police officers, an emergencies ministry official and a civilian died in the two blasts.

Rebels in Chechnya started out fighting for independence in the 1990s, but in recent years the fight has been aimed more at imposing Islamist rule and asserting their authority in the area.

The standard of living in the southwestern republic is poor compared with the rest of Russia. Unemployment is rampant and infant mortality is high. In addition, the Chechen population of about 1 million is mostly made up of Sunni Muslims, who maintain a distinctly separate cultural and linguistic identity from Russian Orthodox Christians.

15 arrested in Amusement park scuffle over hijabs

Here we go again.  Muslims got together with Playland Park in New York to have their Eid festival at the park.  The park rules state that certain rides require the removal of any kind of headgear as a safety precaution.  Some Muslim women complained that they had to take their hijab off before getting on those rides, and well you can imagine what happened thereafter.

40 people involved in the scuffle with some arrested and two were injured.  Buried deep in the article is the sentence which explains it all "...It’s our holiday. Why would you (the park, in enforcing their safety rules)do this to us?”

Crying victim when one is a Muslim usually brings out the worst in apologists and liberals, we should be seeing them crawl out of the woodwork soon to complain that these Muslims are being discriminated against.

Wait for it...

Police arrest 15 at Playland in dispute over Muslim headwear

RYE — A large disturbance broke out at Playland Park today when Muslim visitors got angry that the park was enforcing its ban on headgear by prohibiting the women from wearing their traditional head coverings on some rides.

Police from at least nine other agencies converged on the park beginning at 3 p.m. after county police sought assistance in responding to the disturbance, which involved about 30 to 40 people. Twelve men and three women were arrested, mostly for disorderly conduct, and two park rangers were injured, authorities said. Two people were charged with felony assault after, officials said, they attacked park rangers.

The park was crowded with Muslims celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr, one of Islam's two major holidays. Most were from community groups around New York City as part of a day-long event arranged by the Muslim American Society of New York.

Parks officials had “painstakingly” told the organizer about the headgear ban, said Deputy Parks Commissioner Peter Tartaglia, but he said that the rules might not have been communicated by the organizer to some attendees. The ban was implemented about four years ago to keep hats and other head coverings from landing on tracks and derailing rides.

“It’s a safety issue on rides. If it’s a scarf, you could choke,” Tartaglia said.

Accounts of what had happened varied, but everyone agreed the dispute began after park-goers were told the headgear ban applied to women wearing traditional Muslim head coverings, known as hijabs.

Down the rabbit hole with the "religion of the perpetually insulted".

Tartaglia said once word of that got out there were “a lot of unhappy people.”

He said park officials were in the process of arranging refunds when members of the Muslim group got into a scuffle with each other.

The two rangers, seasonal county police employees, were hurt trying to break it up, he said. He said one suffered an injured knee and the other an injured shoulder.

Lola Ali, 16, of Astoria said she had witnessed a group of girls and women wearing hijabs go to park security to confront them about the headgear issue.

She said the women were upset and yelling. She said the security officers started pushing them away and the girls stood their ground, at which point the security officers grabbed them, pushed them to the ground and handcuffed them.

Men within the park saw this and tried to intervene, Ali said, and the situation went downhill from there.

“They were beating down the girls then they started beating down the guys,” she said of the security officers.

Earlier, a park cashier told a Journal News reporter that a woman wearing a hijab either pushed or hit a ride operator who forbade her from going on the ride. She said a police officer tried to restrain the woman and the woman’s husband took offense, at which point a multiple-person fight broke out.

And the reason the husband took offense is because his "property" was touched by an unrelated male.  The insult is that his "woman" was violated by a dirty kuffir when his hands touched her, thus setting up the attack, and in the husbands mind, justification through Islamic doctrine to assault a police officer.

More blood libel from the Palestinian Authority

This is one which continues to have legs, and it is part of the propaganda and demonization of Israel by Islam.  As long as Israel exists the PA, Hamas, Hizballah and all the rest will perpetuate lies such as this.

From The Jerusalem Post August 30 by Herb Keinon

PA minister claims Israel harvests Palestinian organs

The Palestinian Authority Minister of Prisoner Affairs Issa Qaraqi’ was quoted Sunday as saying Israel is the “major harvesting and trading center” of body organs in the world. His comments come even as the Defense Ministry is recommending to the government the release of a few hundred Palestinian prisoners to PA President Mahmoud Abbas in September to try and create a better atmosphere in the West Bank.
The prisoner release is part of a number of steps being discussed, including the return of the bodies of terrorists buried in Israel, whose goal is to improve the overall attitude on the Palestinian streets in advance of September.
The prisoners to be released would be Fatah members, none of whom is on the list being discussed for a possible deal with Hamas for the release of Gilad Schalit.
By contrast, the Saudi-based Arab reported Sunday that Qaraqi’, “during the national day of Palestinian campaign to retrieve martyrs’ bodies,” accused Israel of harvesting parts from “the bodies of dead Palestinian martyrs without the consent of their families.” According to the website, Qaraqi’ said Israel was holding on to the remains of “Palestinian martyrs to conceal the crimes it committed against the martyrs’ bodies and to punish their families.”

For Sale; Libyan small arms, slightly used, includes ammunition

Now that Libya has come apart at the seams, money is to be had, and what better item to sell quickly than weapons.  Nothing too big, but the usual small arms loved by jihadists everywhere.  The largest buyer to date is Hamas and with these extra RPGs and anti-aircraft guns they increase their inventory but not their firepower.  A small comfort to those who will suffer from the use of these weapons.

As other Arab countries fall, the glut of weapons like these, and more powerful ones will find a way into the hands of those who need them.

From YNet August 29

'Gaza militants have Libyan arms'

Palestinians in Gaza have acquired anti-aircraft and anti-tank rockets from Libya during its six-month civil war, enlarging but not significantly improving their arsenal, Israeli officials said on Monday.

While the rebellion against Muammar Gaddafi has stirred concern abroad about the fate of Libya's ageing chemical weapons stockpiles, Israel has no indication Hamas or other Palestinian factions have sought these, the officials said.

Instead, Israeli officials have detected an inflow of SA-7 anti-aircraft missiles and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), said one official, describing an overland supply route that opened up between eastern Libya – after it fell to the rebels – and the Gaza Strip via Egypt.

"We've been seeing more SA-7s and RPGs coming across," said the official. "It's not a major qualitative enhancement for them."

The Soviet-designed SA-7 is a shoulder-fired, heat-seeking missile which Israel said Palestinians had previously smuggled into Gaza. Rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), designed to penetrate armour, are plentiful in the territory.

Another Israeli official said "thousands" of the weapons had reached Gaza in recent months, but did not provide figures on how many had originated in Libya.

Senior Official in Egyptian Islamic Jihad: If We Come to Power, We will Launch a Campaign of Islamic Conquests to Instate Shari'a Worldwide: 'The Christian is Free to Worship His God in His Church, but if the Christians Make Problems for the Muslims, I Will Exterminate Them'

On August 13, 2011, the Egyptian daily Roz Al-Yousef published an interview[1] with Sheikh 'Adel Shehato, a senior official in Egyptian Islamic Jihad (EIJ), who, on March 23, 2011, was freed from prison in the wake of the Egyptian revolution. He was imprisoned in 1991 upon returning from a three-year sojourn in Afghanistan.

In the interview, Shehato expressed complete opposition to democracy "because it is not the faith of the Muslims, but the faith of the Jews and Christians." He said that although the youth of the Arab revolutions have not declared the implementation of shari'a as one of their goals, the mujahideen nonetheless identify with their aspiration to overthrow the Arab rulers, whom they had always considered "infidels who must be killed because they do not rule according to the shari'a." He added, however, that "once Allah's law is applied, the role of the people will end and Allah will reign supreme." He went on to say that although he supports Al-Qaeda's ideology, shari'a law would not be enforced by violence but by da'wa (preaching), whereas violence would be used only against the infidel Arab rulers.

Shehato said that if the mujahideen came to power in Egypt, they would launch a campaign of Islamic conquests aimed at subjecting the entire world to Islamic rule. Muslim ambassadors would be appointed to each country, charged with calling upon them to join Islam willingly, but if the countries refused, war would be waged against them. He also described the nature of the Islamic state to be established in Egypt: there would be no trade or cultural ties with non-Muslims; tourist sites at the pyramids, the Sphinx, and Sharm Al-Sheikh would be shut down "because the tourists come [there] to drink alcohol and fornicate," and all tourists wishing to visit Egypt would be required to comply with the conditions and laws of Islam; all art, painting, singing, dancing, and sculpture would be forbidden, and all culture would be purely Islamic.

Following are excerpts of the interview:

The Term "Democracy" is Not in the Arab or Islamic Lexicon; Once Allah's Law Reigns Supreme, the People's Role will End

Q: "Do you support the uprising?"

Shehato: "...The [Egyptian] youth rose up for a certain ideal... They did not rise up in order to put the shari'a into practice, nor did they [complain] that Mubarak's regime did not rule in accordance with the shari'a... As Muslims, we must believe that the Koran is our constitution, and that it is [therefore] impossible for us to institute a Western democratic regime. I oppose democracy because it is not the faith of the Muslims, but the faith of the Jews and Christians. Simply put, democracy means the rule of the people itself over itself... According to Islam, it is forbidden for people to rule and to legislate laws, as Allah alone is ruler. Allah did not hand down the term [democracy] as a form of rule, and it is completely absent from the Arab and Islamic lexicon..."

Q: "If you do not believe in the rule of the people, why did you go out to Al-Tahrir Square with the slogan 'he People Wants to Implement the Shari'a?' Are you exploiting democracy in order to achieve what you want [only] to then abolish [democracy]?"

Shehato: "I am not exploiting democracy, since I have never joined and will never join politics or party activity... We believe that implementation of the shari'a [must be accomplished] far from the political game, though some [other] Islamic streams are willing to participate [in this game] in order to achieve the same goal [i.e., implementation of the shari'a]. We said that 'the people wants to implement the shari'a' because most of the people are Muslims, and also based on [our] reading of the situation on the ground. [At the same time,] we did not make demands for the people's sake in the people's name, but demanded the rule of Allah. And once Allah's law is instated, the role of the people will end and Allah will reign supreme."

Q: "How do you reconcile your opposition to the will of the people with the notion of shura [consultation] in Islam?"

Shehato: "'Shura' in Islam means that alongside the Muslim ruler, there is a steering council comprising the finest of the senior Muslim clerics, to be selected on the basis of their piety and political leadership [abilities]. But there is no consultation with commoners, such as workers and fallahin, nor is there consultation over issues that contravene the shari'a."

"The Christian is Free to Worship His God in His Church, but if the Christians Make Problems for the Muslims, I Will Exterminate Them"

Q: "What solution is the EIJ suggesting [today], after the revolution?"

Shehato: "...We still espouse the old jihadi ideology that is today the ideology of Sheikh Ayman Al-Zawahiri, the late Sheikh Osama bin Laden, and Abu Muhammad Al-Maqdisi... If the revolution was meant to overthrow the tyrant Mubarak, then we have always said that all the Arab rulers, without exception, are infidels who must be killed because they do not rule according to the shari'a. They are apostate infidels, as opposed to infidels like the Jews and Christians, and anyone who doubts that they are infidels is an infidel [himself]."

Q: "But we Egyptians have never regarded the Christians as infidels. [In fact,] many of us have Christian friends even closer than our Muslim friends."

Shehato: "As a Muslim, I must support the Muslim and oppose the Christian. If there is a Christian who does me no harm, I will maintain limited contact with him. Islam [discusses] certain degrees of contact with the Christian, namely: keeping promises [that were made him], dealing honestly with him, treating him kindly, and befriending him. The first three are allowed, but the fourth [i.e., befriending the Christian] is deemed dangerous, for it contravenes the verse that says, 'O you who believe! Do not take my enemy and your enemy for friends: would you offer them love while they deny what has come to you of the truth' [Koran 60:1]. It is inconceivable that they should serve in judiciary or executive posts, for instance in the army or the police."

Q: "Are you against blowing up churches?"

Shehato: "Yes and no....

Ground Zero imam lies about sharia

Imam Rauf lies, and here is the proof.  yesterday I posted about Rauf and his claim that shaira, or parts of it would be beneficial to the United States, and that it ahould be integrated within US law.  He claimed that the bad parts of sharia like the stoning to death and the cutting off of hands would not be implimented, and challenged anyone to show where sharia law is used beyond Saudi Arabia and Iran.  I showed the countries and entities using sharia in a previous post, and here, in Raufs own words show where he blatantly lies.

Here is what he said in the previous statement, “the only truly clashing area is the penal code, and no Muslim has the intention of introducing that to America. The penal code is the area that people in the Western world are worried about..."

Read the page from his book above, and decide for yourself whether Rauf lies.  It is obvious he is practicing taqiyya, as a good Muslim should when feeling attacked.

Ground Zero Mosque Imam Rauf lies about Sharia

Yesterday I posted here about the Ground Zero Mosque Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf's appearance in Scotland, where he said this:

Rauf points out that “the only truly clashing area is the penal code, and no Muslim has the intention of introducing that to America. The penal code is the area that people in the Western world are worried about – but these are things that aren’t even observed today in most of the Muslim world. Apart from the Taliban and a few places like that, where do you see this happening?”.

I pointed out in yesterday's post that "if Muslims believe that the Sharia, including its penal code, is Allah's perfect and immutable law, why wouldn't they want to bring it to America and Europe?" And here's a big surprise: Rauf thinks the same way. He completely contradicted his statement above in his 2000 book Islam: A Sacred Law. Jihad Watch reader Kamala points out that in that book, he wrote this on page 58: "And since a Shari'ah is understood as a law with God at its center, it is not possible in principle to limit the Shari'ah to some aspects of human life and leave out others."

He is a smooth, slick liar, and he has deceived the government and media elites. But it is clear to an increasing number of people what his agenda really is.

Suicide attack kills at least 24 at Baghdad mosque

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A suicide bomber posing as a beggar detonated his explosives inside a major Baghdad Sunni mosque on Sunday, killing at least 24 people, including an Iraqi lawmaker, just as they finished evening prayers, hospital and local officials said.
The bomber wearing a cast on his arm blew himself up in the main hall of the Umm al-Qura mosque, an important Sunni religious site in Baghdad and one frequented by top Iraqi Sunni leaders in the capital's western Ghazaliya district.
Attacks on Sunni and Shi'ite mosques are especially sensitive in Iraq where a power-sharing government still struggles to overcome the sectarian slaughter that dragged Iraq to the edge of civil war after the 2003 U.S.-led invasion.
"The suicide bomber entered pretending he was hurt. He entered the main prayer area. We started to get suspicious. But when the prayers finished, he blew himself up," said Ahmed Abdul Razaq, who was at the mosque.
Violence in Iraq has dropped sharply since the height of sectarian bloodletting four years ago, but both Sunni Islamists linked to al-Qaeda and Shi'ite militias still carry out almost daily attacks as U.S. troops prepare to withdraw at year end.
At Umm al-Qura, the bomber's dismembered remains stayed in the main prayer area and bloody spatters trailed across the mosque carpet where blast victims had been carried outside, a Reuters witness at the site said.

Salafis launch Grad rocket from Gaza to Israel, the world yawns again

After Israel is gone and Islam has taken control, the world will sit bolt upright, rub it's eyes and ask what the hell happened?  The pressure on Israel is increasing, and soon there will be a reaction which will, once again try to demonize Israel for protecting themselves.  The world watches, not to support the only democracy in the Middle East, but to praise it's demise at the hands of Islam.

As the rockets fall we watch the endgame being played.

From Israel National News August 28 by Chana Ya'ar

Gaza-Based Salafi Group Launched Rockets at Israel

A radical Salafi Islamist group affiliated with the international Al Qaeda terrorist organization has taken responsibility for launching Sunday morning's Grad rocket attack at southern Israel.
The Jama'at al-Tawhid wa'l-Jihad (JTJ) jihadist organization (Group of Monotheism and Jihad) allegedly issued a statement claiming “credit” for the attack on Be'er Sheva, the largest city in Israel's southern region.
The missile was intercepted and neutralized by the Iron Dome anti-missile defense system at about 7:15 a.m. local time. Residents were warned by the Color Red air raid alert siren before the missile arrived in Be'er Sheva's air space.
Salafi groups have slowly grown to be a major power in Gaza in the past several years, with thousands of Hamas members switching sides to join the more radical Islamic factions, all of which are linked to Al Qaeda and many of which operate in Judea and Samaria as well.
JTJ was founded by Jordanian Salafi Islamist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi together with Kurdish sympathizers. Zarqawi, who pledged his allegiance to Osama Bin Laden's terrorist network in October 2004, is the same murderer who beheaded 26-year-old U.S. businessman Nicholas Berg on videotape in May 2004.
The group's spiritual adviser was Palestinian Authority imam Abu Anas al-Shami, also known as Omar Yusef Juma'a, born in Kuwait and a one-time resident of Yabroud, a village near the PA capital of Ramallah. In 2003 he joined Zarqawi in Iraq, eventually becoming his second-in-command until he was assassinated in targeted U.S. missile strike on his car in September 2004.
Among the Koranic texts taught by al-Shami and cited by JTJ in justifying its slaughter is an alleged quote from the Islamic prophet Muhammad, “Whoever slaughters a non-Muslim [at war with Islam, or 'enemy occupiers'] sincerely for the sake of Allah, Allah will make hellfire prohibited upon him.”

Actually that above quote is a hadith.

Another quote allegedly from Allah(G-d) often cited by the group to justify its actions directs operatives to behead its victims: “When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off the fingertip of them.”

That is sura 8, verse 12 from the Qur'an.

Increasing jihad against Israel ahead of possible Palestinian statehood vote by the UN

The natural thing to do when your up for a statehood vote is murder innocent people in the name of your God.  Then again, no one ever said the refugees, or their leaders were in posession of brain cells.

If the UN decides to grant the refugees statehood, the world will suffer greatly at the hands of the new jihadists, and Israel may indeed end up as dust in the wind, with Islam emboldened enough by the destruction of their greatest enemy to then begin the re-invention of the earth into the sharia-compliant and Islamic-led world they have been striving for since 610AD.

Israeli police: 7 wounded in Palestinian attack

JERUSALEM (AP) — A Palestinian attacker wounded seven Israelis, one critically, near a Tel Aviv nightclub early Monday, hitting a police checkpoint with a stolen taxi and then stabbing others, police said.

Meanwhile, Israel's military ordered more troops to the border with Egypt following intelligence reports of an impending attack by Gaza militants, the military said.

Earlier this month, militants opened fire on a desert road in that frontier area, killing eight Israelis.

The flare in violence comes just weeks before Palestinians are expected to ask the United Nations to recognize an independent Palestinian state in east Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The Palestinians have adopted that route because vast gaps with the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have stymied negotiations for more than two years.

These "vast gaps" refer to Israel giving up more land, and bisecting their country to create a two-state solution, which would effectively end the existence of Israel.

The attacker in Tel Aviv was a Palestinian in his 20s from the city of Nablus, according to Israeli police spokeswoman Luba Samri.

Just before 2 a.m., he stole a taxi in south Tel Aviv and then drove into a police checkpoint securing the street near a popular nightclub, she said.

He then got out of the car and stabbed passers-by, she said, while shouting "Allahu akbar" — Arabic for "God is great," a phrase often used as a battle-cry by Islamic militants.

Abbas: we will not recognize Israel as a state...ever

Ahead of the September vote on Palestinian statehood, Mahmoud Abbas has stated publicly that the threats issued by the West regarding the PA and their stance on Israel regarding peace and recognition of legitimacy will not stand, and the PA will not be forced to see Israel as a real country.

Let's not forget that the doctorate thesis that Abbas did to graduate college was on the Holocaust and the facts(as he saw them) did not support Jews being murdered en masse during WWII.  In other words, Abbas is a Holocaust denier.

It is no surprise then, that Abbas would reject on a wholesale level the existence of Israel.  And for his denial of Israels right to exist, he demands recognition of a Palestinian state.  Since Palestine, as seen today did not exist until 1967, and then only as a political identity created to demonize and finally destroy Israel, any statehood will be based in a false prophecy and created fiction, based ultimately in Islamic texts and tenets.  Abbas knows all too well the fake identity for the refugees, but as a Muslim he is required to destroy Israel and take the land for the worlds Muslims.

He is acting exactly as Muhammad asks of Muslims, he is a perfect example of the perfect Muslim.  Allah is so proud.

The Palestinian Authority will not be recognizing Israel as a Jewish state, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas

The Palestinian leader also criticized demands made by the International Quartet of his Authority, urging the international community to back off. "Don't order us to recognize a Jewish state," Abbas said. "We won't accept it."

Speaking earlier Saturday, Abbas adopted a more moderate tone, saying that the PA's bid for UN recognition, planned for September, is not meant to isolate Israel or prompt a conflict with the United States.

The Palestinian president also seemed to present a somewhat more moderate position in his meeting with Foreign Affairs Commissioner Catherine Ashton over the weekend, in Ramallah.

Chief Palestinian Negotiator Saeb Erekat said that Abbas stressed before Ashton that the UN bid does not negate the continuation of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

Ashton reportedly told Abbas that while the European Union does not object to the Palestinian's UN bid per-se, its final position in the matter will be determined according to the bid's content and phrasing.

Ashton further said that a real solution to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians can only be achieved through negotiations.

Lieberman slams PA

Responding to the Palestinian leader's defiant message, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said the statement "reveals the true nature of the September motion: A Palestinian state to come in place of a Jewish state."

"Countries around the world must make it clear to Abbas that the only way the Palestinians will be able to have a state is by stopping their attempt to destroy the only Jewish state in the world," Lieberman said.

Rhetoric from Iran getting old, will somebody bomb them already?

For the eleventyteenth time, Ahmadinejad spews forth his venom and calls for the death of Jews and the destruction of Israel.  This is like a "Groundhog Day" Thanksgiving dinner where I have to listen to Uncle Dwayne retell the story of how he invented the tampon.  Interesting the first dozen times but quite boring after the 13th.

The important thing to remember is that no matter what, Iran and Ahmadinejad will tell us exactly what they want to do.  If we listen, we may save our butts.

Or not.

Iran's Ahmadinejad: No Place for Israel in Region

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in crowd.jpg
A "touching" moment in Islam
TEHRAN, Iran – The Iranian president said on Friday there will be no room for Israel in the region after the formation of a Palestinian state, and that once the state is established, the liberation of all Palestinian lands should follow.
The comments by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reflected his typical anti-Israeli rhetoric, which has drawn international condemnation since he first said in 2005 that Israel should be "wiped off the map."
Ahmadinejad spoke at a Tehran ceremony following nationwide pro-Palestinian rallies marking Quds Day. Quds is the Arabic word for Jerusalem. The annual demonstration is an occasion for Iranian officials to show off their support for Palestinians and condemn archenemy Israel.
The remarks come as the Palestinians are pushing this year to achieve recognition at the United Nations during the General Assembly meeting in September. The statehood bid comes amid stalled Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations and although the U.N. vote in New York will be largely symbolic, the Palestinians believe it will send a powerful message to Israel.
"Do not assume you will be boosted with a (U.N.) recognition of a Palestinian state," Ahmadinejad said, addressing Israel. "There is no room for you in the region."
"Recognition of a Palestinian state is the first step in the liberation of the entire Palestine," he added.
Since the 1979 Islamic revolution that brought hardline Islamists to power in Tehran, Iran's leadership has been hostile to Israel, backing anti-Israel groups like the Palestinian Hamas and Lebanon's Hezbollah.
Ahmadinejad also urged the West to stop supporting Israel.

Islamists hold anti-Israel march in Berlin

Feel the love

Muslim hatred in heart of Europe: More than 1,000 Muslims marched Saturday in Berlin and chanted anti-Israel slogans to mark al-Quds Day, set by Iran following the Islamist revolution in the country.

The protestors in the anti-Israel rally were faced by hundreds of Israel fans who also arrived at the site.

Police in the German capital deployed in force to separate the two camps and prevent violent clashes.

The Islamic march was led by Iranian clerics, accompanied by anti-Zionist Neturei Karta Jews living in Europe.

"What's taking place in Israel is a Shoah for the Palestinians," one of the radical ultra-Orthodox Jews, Rabbi Beck, told Ynet. "We are waiting for the day Zionism collapses, and then Jews and Muslims would be able to live side by side in peace."

You must know your place in Islam, Rabbi and are comfortable being a servant to Allah.  Good for you.

While the rabbi spoke, protestors behind him were chanting "Allahu Akbar" and "Israel is a terrorist."

The Muslim protestors held up banners accusing Israel of committing war crimes, as well as photographs of late Iranian leader Ayatollah Khomeini. They chanted "Freedom for Palestine" and "End the killing of civilians in Gaza."

Panetta says "...if we continue this effort we can really cripple al-Qaida as a major threat."

Al-Qaida's No. 2 reported killed by US in Pakistan

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. and Pakistani officials said al-Qaida's second-in-command, Atiyah Abd al-Rahman, has been killed in Pakistan, delivering another big blow to a terrorist group that the U.S. believes to be on the verge of defeat.
Since Navy SEALs stormed Osama bin Laden's compound and killed him in May, the Obama administration has been unusually frank in its assessment that al-Qaida is on the ropes, its leadership in disarray. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said last month that al-Qaida's defeat was within reach if the U.S. could mount a string of successful attacks.
"Now is the moment, following what happened with bin Laden, to put maximum pressure on them," Panetta said, "because I do believe that if we continue this effort we can really cripple al-Qaida as a major threat."
A Libyan national, al-Rahman never had the worldwide name recognition of bin Laden or bin Laden's successor, Ayman al-Zawahiri. But al-Rahman was regarded as an instrumental figure in the terrorist organization, trusted by bin Laden to oversee al-Qaida's daily operations.
When the SEALs raided bin Laden's compound, they found evidence of al-Rahman's deep involvement in running al-Qaida.
Senior al-Qaida figures have been killed before, only to be replaced. But the Obama administration's tenor reflects a cautious optimism that victory in the decade-long fight against al-Qaida could be at hand.
"It does hold the prospect of a strategic defeat, if you will, a strategic dismantling, of al-Qaida," incoming CIA Director David Petraeus said in July.
Since bin Laden's death, counterterrorism officials have hoped to capitalize on al-Qaida's unsettled leadership. The more uncertain the structure, the harder it is for al-Qaida to operate covertly and plan attacks.
Al-Zawahiri is running the group but is considered a divisive figure who lacks the founder's charisma and ability to galvanize al-Qaida's disparate franchises.
A U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to summarize the government's intelligence on al-Rahman, said al-Rahman's death will make it harder for Zawahiri to oversee what is considered an increasingly weakened organization.

Ron Paul says Islam not a threat to anyone, but America is

The cluelessness with which Ron Paul throws out nonsensical statements makes me think that his trip down the rabbit hole never ended.  As witless and unaware as any politician I have ever seen, Paul and his twisted ideas about American foreign policy and Islam are not just stupid, they are dangerous.  He is to be taken seriously as a knucklehead only.

From The Des Moines Register August 27 by Josh Hafner

Ron Paul says U.S. intervention motivated 9/11 attacks
We are only at war with ourselves, and we can win!
WINTERSET, Ia. – Two weeks away from the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, presidential candidate and Texas Rep. Ron Paul says that U.S. intervention in the Middle East is a main motivation behind terrorist hostilities toward America, and that Islam is not a threat to the nation.
1400 years of theological hatred is to be ignored because Paul wants to make sure America is to be blamed for everything bad, especially in Arab countries.
At a campaign stop on Saturday in Winterset, one man asked Paul how terrorist groups would react if the U.S. removed its military presence in Middle Eastern nations, a move the candidate advocates.
“Which enemy are you worried that will attack our national security?” Paul asked.
“If you’re looking for specifics, I’m talking about Islam. Radical Islam,” the man answered.
I don’t see Islam as our enemy,” Paul said. “I see that motivation is occupation and those who hate us and would like to kill us, they are motivated by our invasion of their land, the support of their dictators that they hate.”
Regarding 9/11, Paul said that attacks against the U.S. from Middle Eastern groups at home and abroad can be traced to the foreign presence of U.S. troops, as well as America’s relationships with dictator regimes.
Paul referred to a military base in Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of Islam, as a key motivator in the Sept. 11th attacks. Osama bin Laden viewed it as an American desecration of holy land.
“After 9/11, (people said) ‘Oh yeah, it’s those very bad people who hate us,’ but 15 of (the hijackers) came from Saudi Arabia,” said Paul. “One of the reasons they attacked us, is we propped up this Sharia government and the fundamentalists hated us for it.
WTF!  I have no idea what he is talking about, which is par for the course when trying to decipher Pauls ramblings.
The congressman particularly decried U.S.-led bombings in foreign nations, saying that “almost always those individuals that they are trying to kill did not have any direct relationship” with threats to the U.S.

Ground Zero mosque imam says Muslims should integrate into their host country while instilling a little sharia

The "bridge-building" and "interfaith dialogue" imam Rauf is back, this time in Scotland to talk about how the West needs to have sharia as part of it's program to integrate Muslims and that Muslims should become part of the "great melting pot" of their country of choice.  And the problem is what, exactly?

Well, there is no such thing as just a little sharia, it is the whole package or nothing.  It will, in Western countries start out as just a simple matter of allowing sharia arbitration courts to intervene in matters of divorce or dispute of business matters, then slowly escalate into the other aspects of sharia.

Rauf explains it away thusly "...the only truly clashing area is the penal code, and no Muslim has the intention of introducing that to America. The penal code is the area that people in the Western world are worried about – but these are things that aren’t even observed today in most of the Muslim world. Apart from the Taliban and a few places like that, where do you see this happening?”.

Well imam Rauf, just to point out a few examples of where I see this happening; Somalia with Al-Shabab and Boko Haram in Nigeria, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al-Qaeda, Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Mahgreb, Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Maurtania, North Sudan, Muslim Brotherhood, Salafists, Hizballah, Londonistan, Dearbornistan....

Ground Zero imam gives Scotland his recipe for successful multiculturalism

The Smilin' Islamist in Scotland

AMERICA’S most controversial imam – the man at the centre of the storm over plans for the “Ground Zero Mosque” in New York last year – flew into Edinburgh yesterday to tell the Festival of Spirituality and Peace that greater integration between Islam and the West depends on the incorporation of Sharia law into the legal systems of the UK and the United States as well as Muslims adopting the culture of their host countries.

Uh, no.

Many see Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf as an Islamic moderate even though he has been vilified in the US press as an apologist for radical Muslims. In an interview with the Sunday Herald, Rauf said he believes the world is in the grip of a “dangerous myth” and “self-fulfilling prophecy” that “Islam and the West are at war. But the real battleground is not between Islam and the West, but between the wise, fair-minded people of all faith traditions and the extremists.”

And the reasons one might assume this clash exists at all, could it have anything to do with the actions of your co-religionists and their penchant for quoting the Qur'an and hadiths of Muhammad to continuously justify their jihadist ways, or maybe it could have something to do with the many recognized and respected Islamic scholars, imams, mullahs and ayatollahs who say that Islam is indeed at war with the West?

Although he is a pro-US imam who has argued that America is the embodiment of Islam’s ideal society, Rauf became a hate figure in the US over the so-called Ground Zero Mosque. The plan offended relatives of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, and led to a US pastor proposing a “Burn a Koran day”.

Are we just to assume this statement is true?  What, if any, and there are none, actions has Rauf done to lead us to believe he is pro-US?

Rauf says that when the project – a community centre containing a mosque – was announced on the front page of the New York Times [in December 2009] there was no reaction. But six months later, it was picked up by conservatives like Sarah Palin and became one of the most divisive subjects in US society. Rauf later said: “If I had known this would happen, cause this kind of pain, I wouldn’t have done it.”

Go to the upcoming 9-11 rally and get on stage.  Grab the mike and tell the world you are standing behind your statement and the ground zero mosque will not be built at the site of the old Burlington Coat outlet.

Was he naïve? “What surprised me is that I’ve been in the United States for 46 years and I think of it as having a very strong concept of separation of church and society, and yet a house of worship was used in a political campaign,” Rauf said.

What about you, Rauf?  Do you believe in the separation of mosque and state?

But most of his work is about dousing fires rather than fanning them. He often talks about the interweaving of Muslim and Western culture. Multi-culturalism, he believes, is the way forward, and the state we are globally shifting towards. America, he points out, has been more successful at this than Europe.

It is, he says, a paradigm because it is “structurally multi-cultural”. As he puts it: “Americans are predominantly hyphenated. They are Irish-Americans, Italian-Americans and so on. So there is a recognition and celebration of variety. That’s a very important factor in creating a space for Muslims to be integrated.” He notes that a greater percentage of Muslims in America are wealthy and highly educated and “those who are better off and educated have an easier time integrating”.

It should be American first, then the nationality, not the other way round. American-German, American-Australian, like that.  Akso, those who are better off are the ones who usually are able to carry out their support for Allah, and have the knowledge to take on the task of building a bomb.  Jihad causes poverty, Islam causes jihad.

An essential element of this interweaving of cultures, he says, will have to be the incorporation of Sharia law into the legal systems of Europe and the US. In this, he is in agreement with the Archbishop of Canterbury who said that the adoption of some aspects of Sharia law “seems to be unavoidable”.

In the UK, he says, we need to recognise that the radicalisation of Muslim youth is not a problem of religion. “You have to consider how we would approach it if these people were not Muslims, but were Christian, for instance. The source of the problem is not religion, but an economic one.”

Right, in other words you're not getting enough jizya, and the tithing from the local church just isn't cutting it.

Malaysia: more supression of non-Muslims via “faith-rescue unit”

If you, as a Muslim think you may be corrupted by Jesus, you now have a place to turn to to get help.

Islam is the only religion threatened by outside theological references, no other faith takes such great offense at the questioning of the tenets except Islam.  As a matter of fact, every other religion welcomes open debate about their faith but Islam is always with the "do not disturb" sign hung on the mosque door.

Selangor forms ‘faith-rescue unit’ for Muslims

August 26, 2011

Hasan urged Muslims considering Christian aid to turn to his office instead.  Selangor religious councillor Datuk Hasan Ali has set up a “faith-rescue unit”, or Unit Selamat Aqidah, to look into problems faced by Muslims that could expose them to risks of losing their religious conviction amid allegations of proselytisation in the state.

The PAS leader said his office was concerned about the issue of proselytisation as troubled Muslims could resort to help from other groups that might lead them away from Islam.

“This office takes a serious view of the negative perceptions of the state agencies, bodies and voluntary organisations that appear not to help solve the problems of this group of people.

“This office has taken the initiative to set up the Unit Selamat Aqidah, which, among others, is a service centre to accept complaints and applications to help reduce the burden of life of these people,” Hasan said in a statement

He said the unit will work with the Selangor Zakat Board and voluntary organisations concerned about the issue, adding the board will name officials who will process applications for aid.

“It is hoped that Muslims who have received or are thinking of receiving aid from churches or Christian organisations can come to the Islamic Affairs, Malay Culture, Infrastructure and Public Amenities Exco to give their details so that help can be provided immediately,” Hasan said.

The conservative Muslim leader assured such people that his office would help them to avoid being trapped in moves to make them apostates.

Pro-Umno newspapers have been highlighting alleged attempts by Christians to convert Muslims since the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) raided an evangelical church in Petaling Jaya on August 3. Proselytising Muslims is an offence in Malaysia.

Umno-owned Utusan Malaysia also reported recently an allegation that underprivileged Muslims living in a squatter area near Old Klang Road were being proselytised by Christians under the guise of free English classes.

The tuition centre was subsequently shut down for purportedly not owning a valid permit.

Influential cleric Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin, however, said yesterday that Muslims should take care of their own poor instead of accusing Christians of proselytism when churches helped poor Muslims.

Tensions between Christians and Muslims have heightened after Jais swooped on the Damansara Utama Methodist Church (DUMC), on claims that it was investigating a complaint that Muslims were being converted at a dinner the church was hosting for a local NGO.

The Selangor state government met with Jais and representatives of the Harapan Komuniti NGO yesterday to resolve the debacle that has sparked attacks from both Muslims and Christians against the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) administration.

Continuing jihad in Algeria

Algeria suicide bomb attack hits military academy

The attack took place in the town of Cherchell, about 100km (60 miles) west of the capital Algiers.

One or two bombers set off their explosives just after the breaking of the Ramadan fast, reports said.

No group has said it carried out the attack. It comes 12 days after a suicide car bombing of a police station in Tizi Ouzu wounded 29 people.

That attack was claimed by the Islamist group Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), which is active in the region.

It was not clear how many of those killed in the latest attack were military. A hospital source told Reuters news agency 16 soldiers had been killed and two civilians.

Political violence has subsided since the 1990s when more than 150,000 were killed after the 1992 election, won by an Islamist party, was annulled.

But militant groups continue to carry out sporadic attacks.

'Anti-Muslim’ author beaten

OAKVILLE, Ont. - Halton police are treating an attack on a first-time author whose self-published book has been branded anti-Muslim as a possible hate crime.

Funny, I have a book on Kindle called "From the Mouths of our Enemies" and it is an analysis of Islam using the words and statements from Islamic clerics, mullahs, imams and other respected and recognized scholars and I have never been called to task for my anti-Muslim views.  I wonder why?

Raised Islamic, Paris Dipersico, 24, reported being dragged from his bicycle Aug. 17, tied up among trees, then beaten briefly unconscious by two Muslim men.

Accused of being gay, they then "called me a Jew in Arabic and said the Jews are paying you to write this against Islam," the author of Wake Up Call said Thursday.

Dipersico said he also received a "death threat" on his Facebook site, then someone stole files and backup writing discs after breaking into the home he shares with cousin Gabrielle Dipersico -- who helped design the book and whose photo is on the cover.

Believing the threat came "from the Middle East," he said it demanded he remove offensive language.

After treatment for cuts and bruises, Dipersico said on his publisher's advice, "I'm taking out some of the graphically sexual stuff," but not the rest.

"A little autobiographical," he said the novel expresses his opposition to organized religion.

Using several characters, including ones named Paris and Gabrielle plus others disguised or altered, Dipersico said Wake Up Call was a self-healing project based on troubling experiences with relatives telling him they are superior to others, while some lied, cheated and committed adultery.

Released in June, it has been accused of being pornographic, celebrating drug use and mocking various religions.

Dipersico wrote "Islam is a religion of 'peace' and Muslims will kill you to prove it," but said "I'm not saying every Muslim is violent or every Muslim is a bad person." Fully realizing "for a Muslim to go against Islam, the punishment is death," he said violent ones are often "ignorant," brainwashed with twisted religion-based messages.

A promotional reference to a "narcissistic sociopath," who says "obnoxious things about fugly creatures" is a character's comment, he said, adding he uses dark humour, is often "awfully judgmental, acutely blunt, and exceptionally rude."

Which, in every case does damage, in whole or in part to the "religion of the perpetually insulted"

Forced conversion to Islam: Rampant and unreported

The numbers of young Christian girls kidnapped and forced to convert to Islam is of epidemic proportions, yet the MSM and Western feminists ignore this abuse or say it is a cultural thing and not where we should put our noses.

Maybe if more of us stuck our noses into this blatant abuse of young girls and started asking the tough questions  there would be an improvement in the situation.

Or would that be too Islamophobic?

Punjab: Muslims kidnap 14 year old Christian to convert her to Islam

Lahore (AsiaNews) - A group of Muslims have kidnapped a 14 year old Christian girl from her home under the threat of a gun and in front of witnesses. The incident occurred on August 17 last in Shisharwali, residential area of the city of Gujranwala, Punjab. According to reports from the Pakistan Christian Post (PCP), Mohammad Tayeb Butt along with four other Muslims raided the house of Rashid Masih in broad daylight, pointed the gun to the head of his daughter Mehek forcing her to climb aboard a white car .
Two young Christians, Imran Masih and Mehboob Masih, tried to rescue the girl, but Mohammad Tayeb pointed the gun at them and threatened to shoot. "She is a Choori" the Muslim shouted, at Mehek, using derogatory and insulting Punjab slang, to define a Christian (for example, when Muslim restaurant owners or street food vendors reject minority religious customers, ed) . He also added that the Choori Mehek will be purified "convert to Islam and become my mistress."
Sources report that the local Christian activists from the All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) have tried to report the incident to the police. But the agents did not want to open an investigation - as is often the case - at the expense of an influential Muslim personality.
Interviewed by AsiaNews, the Archbishop Emeritus of Lahore and former president of the Pakistan Catholic Bishops' Conference Mgr. Lawrence John Saldanha stresses that such cases are "common in Pakistan," and families "can do little or nothing" to save the victims from their captors. He adds: "The Muslim family has an advantage, because the law favors them."
Added to the tragedy of the kidnapping, the prelate continues, are "the future difficulties that the unfortunate young girl will suffer in the Muslim family." These are "sad and tragic" episodes for the Christian community and represent, concludes Mgr. Saldanha, "one of the many crosses that the small minorities (even the Hindus) without hope must bear in Pakistan."
