Jihad hits Oregon with tragic consequences. 13 dead, over 20 injured, some critically and so far, authorities say they have no motive.
Lets be clear here, this is jihad, a means to strike terror into the hearts of the infidels as per the Qur'an. The jihadi, after shooting a teacher in the head demanded the students get on the floor, then had them rise and state their religion. He shot those who he saw as a kuffir, or infidel and not worthy of living. It has also been claimed that the jihadi had a Qur'an on him. Of course, the authorities will do anything they can not to identify Islam as the prime motivator, blaming the deaths on everything but Islam, for to do so would be "Islamophobic" and bigoted, maybe even racist (what race is Islam again? I keep forgetting.)
This jihad is retaliation for the three military personnel who stopped the jihad attack on the train in France, as one of the three is from Roseburg. I firmly believe that revenge is the motivator, we shall see if authorities speak the truth, although I doubt they will.
My state has been attacked by Islam, and it would not surprise me if the jihadi is found to be from Eugene, maybe even a UofO Muslim student who just had to take revenge for the death of one of his co-religionists.
My heart has been ripped from my chest and I weep for the victims of Islamic texts and teachings. I pray we will speak truth and never again have to bury our loved ones because of political correctness.
May God have mercy on the dead and may His hand of Grace spread over those who lost loved ones and are suffering. May we also lose this love of tolerance and begin to understand that Islam is evil and must be confronted before any more innocents die at the hands of the "religion of peace"

The Islamic State beheader has reappeared in a new video, claiming he will be coming to Britain and will continue to chop heads of the infidels. Isn't that lovely. Another attempt to strike terror into the hearts of the enemy, and with England already giving in to Islamic intimidation it is an attempt that will succeed, at least in raising the level of fear of defending against Islam in government and the population.
Unfortunately this one is a "wait, what" moment that is true. The country which chants "Death to America/Jews" every Friday after evening prayers has a secret agreement that allows them to inspect their own sites and report to the IAEA at the UN.

Really.

"The agreement in question diverges from normal procedures by allowing Tehran to employ its own experts and equipment in the search for evidence of activities it has consistently denied - trying to develop nuclear weapons"

From AP August 19 by George Jahn

AP EXCLUSIVE: UN TO LET IRAN INSPECT ALLEGED NUKE WORK SITE

VIENNA (AP) -- Iran will be allowed to use its own inspectors to investigate a site it has been accused of using to develop nuclear arms, operating under a secret agreement with the U.N. agency that normally carries out such work, according to a document seen by The Associated Press.

The revelation on Wednesday newly riled Republican lawmakers in the U.S. who have been severely critical of a broader agreement to limit Iran's future nuclear programs, signed by the Obama administration, Iran and five world powers in July. Those critics have complained that the wider deal is unwisely built on trust of the Iranians, while the administration has insisted it depends on reliable inspections.

A skeptical House Speaker John Boehner said, "President Obama boasts his deal includes `unprecedented verification.' He claims it's not built on trust. But the administration's briefings on these side deals have been totally insufficient - and it still isn't clear whether anyone at the White House has seen the final documents."

Said House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce: "International inspections should be done by international inspectors. Period."

The newly disclosed side agreement, for an investigation of the Parchin nuclear site by the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency, is linked to persistent allegations that Iran has worked on atomic weapons. That investigation is part of the overarching nuclear-limits deal.

Evidence of the inspections concession is sure to increase pressure from U.S. congressional opponents before a Senate vote of disapproval on the overall agreement in early September. If the resolution passes and President Barack Obama vetoes it, opponents would need a two-thirds majority to override it. Even Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican, has suggested opponents will likely lose a veto fight, though that was before Wednesday's disclosure.

John Cornyn of Texas, the second-ranking Republican senator, said, "Trusting Iran to inspect its own nuclear site and report to the U.N. in an open and transparent way is remarkably naive and incredibly reckless. This revelation only reinforces the deep-seated concerns the American people have about the agreement."

The Parchin agreement was worked out between the IAEA and Iran. The United States and the five other world powers were not party to it but were briefed by the IAEA and endorsed it as part of the larger package.

On Wednesday, White House National Security Council spokesman Ned Price said the Obama administration was "confident in the agency's technical plans for investigating the possible military dimensions of Iran's former program. ... The IAEA has separately developed the most robust inspection regime ever peacefully negotiated."

All IAEA member countries must give the agency some insight into their nuclear programs. Some are required to do no more than give a yearly accounting of the nuclear material they possess. But nations- like Iran - suspected of possible proliferation are under greater scrutiny that can include stringent inspections.

The agreement in question diverges from normal procedures by allowing Tehran to employ its own experts and equipment in the search for evidence of activities it has consistently denied - trying to develop nuclear weapons.

Olli Heinonen, who was in charge of the Iran probe as deputy IAEA director general from 2005 to 2010, said he could think of no similar concession with any other country.

The White House has repeatedly denied claims of a secret side deal favorable to Tehran. IAEA chief Yukiya Amano told Republican senators last week that he was obligated to keep the document confidential.

Obama tells US Jews: Rockets will fall on Tel Aviv if Congress kills Iran nuclear deal

Washington-A scuttling of the Iran nuclear deal would result in rockets falling on Tel Aviv as Israel would “bear the burden” of a US military attack on Iran, US President Barack Obama told a delegation of Jewish leaders at the White House on Tuesday.

According to National Jewish Democratic Council chairman Greg Rosenbaum, one of nearly two dozen heads of Jewish organizations at the meeting, one of the participants took umbrage with Obama’s characterization of those who are opposed to the deal as warmongers. The president then launched into an explanation of why he believed that the rejection of the deal would ultimately lead to a US military attack. Obama said that if Congress rejected the deal, the Iranians would walk away from negotiations and he would be under intense pressure to take military action.

This, Rosenbaum quoted Obama as saying, would be disastrous for Israel and the US.
Iran, with its annual $15 billion military budget, would not go to war with the US, with a defense budget of nearly $600 billion a year, but would fight an “asymmetrical” war, the president said.

Another participant in the meeting, Robert Wexler, president of the S. Daniel Abraham Center for Middle East Peace, confirmed the conversation.

Obama mentioned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s support for the invasion of Iraq, as well as his skepticism over the JPOA, an interim nuclear accord that was in place during the negotiations, he said.

“He approached it in a lawyerly fashion,” Wexler said, who thought some minds may have been changed during the meeting.

However, a third participant disagreed. Few skeptics were converted, he said, adding that nearly half of the meeting focused on the president’s tone in describing critics of the agreement.

John Kerry on the Risk of Congress ‘Screwing’ the Ayatollah

When I met with Secretary of State John Kerry in his office this past Friday, it was apparent that he was in an exceedingly feisty mood, and it’s not easy to display feistiness when you’re trapped, as he was, in a recliner. Kerry, who broke his leg two months ago, will be rid of his crutches soon, which for him is not soon enough, because he’d prefer to do battle in Congress for the Iran nuclear agreement—quite obviously the crowning achievement, in his mind, of his long and distinguished career in public life—with two good legs.

Congress is the target of Kerry’s feistiness, as is his close friend and staunch adversary, the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, who is leading the charge against congressional ratification of the deal. In the course of a lengthy and freewheeling interview—which you will find published in full, below—Kerry warned that if Congress rejects the Iran deal, it will confirm the anti-U.S. suspicions harbored by the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and eliminate any chance of a peaceful solution to the nuclear conundrum.

“The ayatollah constantly believed that we are untrustworthy, that you can’t negotiate with us, that we will screw them,” Kerry said. “This”—a congressional rejection—“will be the ultimate screwing.” He went on to argue that “the United States Congress will prove the ayatollah’s suspicion, and there’s no way he’s ever coming back. He will not come back to negotiate. Out of dignity, out of a suspicion that you can’t trust America. America is not going to negotiate in good faith. It didn’t negotiate in good faith now, would be his point.”

Kerry also said that his chief Iranian interlocutor, the foreign minister, Javad Zarif, and Zarif’s boss, the (relatively) reformist president, Hassan Rouhani, would be in “serious trouble” at home if the deal falls through. Zarif, Kerry told me, explicitly promised him that Iran will engage with the United States and its Arab allies on a range of regional issues, should Congress approve the deal. “Zarif specifically said to me in the last two weeks, ‘If we get this finished, I am now empowered to work with and talk to you about regional issues.’” Kerry went on, “This is in Congress’s hands. If Congress says no, Congress will shut that down, shut off that conversation, set this back, and set in motion a series of inevitables about what would happen with respect to Iranian behavior, and, by the way, the sanctions will be over.”

IRAN DICTATOR CALLS FOR MUSLIM WORLD TO UNITE AND DESTROY ISRAEL, SAYS USA CREATED ISIS

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei went into a conspiracy-laden tirade on Saturday, blaming the “arrogant powers” for getting in the way of the Muslim world’s mission to unite and destroy Israel.

“If the Islamic Ummah were united and relied on their own commonalities, they would certainly be a unique power in the international political scene but big powers have imposed such divisions on the Islamic Ummah to pursue their own interests and safeguard the Zionist regime [of Israel],” Khamenei said in remarks to commemorate the end of Ramadan.

Khamenei also defended Iran’s support for its Lebanese proxy, Hezbollah, which is a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, and the Assad regime in Syria.

“The Americans dub the Lebanese resistance as terrorist and regard Iran as a supporter of terrorism because of its support for the Lebanese Hezbollah, while the Americans, themselves, are real terrorists,” Khamenei said. Hezbollah was originally created by Tehran’s first “Supreme Leader” with the mission to “turn Lebanon to a graveyard for Jews,” according to its leader, Hassan Nasrallah.

The Iranian dictator claimed that al-Qaeda and the Islamic State terror group were created by the United States, according to Iran’s state-controlled media. The U.S. “have created al-Qaeda and Daesh [ISIL]” and “support the wicked Zionists [Israel],” he said.

The U.S. cannot criticize Iran’s support for Hezbollah’s “resistance” movement because the U.S. supports the “Zionist, terrorist and infanticidal” Israelis, added Iran’s ruler.

Analysts who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon about the anti-American tone of last week’s prayers said it is a sign Tehran believes it bested the United States in the talks.

“The slogans of the Iranian nation on Al-Quds Day show what [Iran's] position is,” said the Middle East Media Research Institute. “The slogans ‘Death to Israel’ and ‘Death to America’ have resounded throughout the country, and are not limited to Tehran and the other large cities. The entire country is under the umbrella of this great movement [of 'Death to America'].”

Of course not, as the willful blindness to what is right in front of their face prevents any truthful analysis of what really motivated Mohammod Abdulazeez. It is all about the mental illness and depression, not anything to do with Islamic texts and teachings. For to make that connection makes one an Islamophobe.
Chattanooga Shooter Researched Religious Justification For Violence: Official

The gunman who killed five American troops in a Chattanooga shooting spree last week did online research for militant Islamist "guidance" on committing violence that he may have believed would wipe away in the afterlife his sins on earth including drug and alcohol abuse, an arrest and a lost job, officials said on Monday.

The Internet searches were discovered on electronic devices such as his smartphone analyzed over the weekend by the FBI Lab in Quantico, Virginia, several counter-terrorism officials confirmed to ABC News.

But there is no evidence so far that Mohammod Abdulazeez, 24 -- whose family insists he was deeply troubled and mentally ill -- was inspired by or directed by ISIS to carry out a bloody attack on U.S. military targets of the sort the Syria and Iraq-based terror group has publicly called for over the past year, the officials said.

"I don't think that there is any evidence it was ISIL-inspired. He may have been seeking some religious guidance to conduct an act. He could readily find that anywhere online," a senior official briefed on the investigation told ABC News.

So if it isn't ISIL it isn't Islam, right?

Some of Abdulazeez's friends, who often partied with the young engineering graduate and went shooting together at local ranges, may have known he was seeking answers in his religion but they do not appear to have been aware he was about to take lethal action that he may have become convinced would earn his place in Heaven, the officials said.

"We may never know what his ultimate motivation was," the senior official added.

The Reuters news agency reported on Monday that some officials said Abdulazeez had been inspired by "general propaganda" by jihadists and not specifically by ISIS, al Qaeda or other militant groups. One friend James Petty, told ABC News that Abdulazeez actually loathed ISIS for its brutality “ He believed that ISIS was not a group to go towards” and did not think that “ISIS was even Islamic” said Petty.

Many jihadis who oppose killing innocent civilian "disbelievers" still view the military as a legitimate target because U.S. troops are the nation's blunt instrument of foreign policy.

When it is talked about at the White House, polite social circles, newsrooms worldwide and the pundit circuit. Islam is not responsible for the actions of those who claim that Islam drives their actions. So say Western leaders; non-Muslims who obviously know more about Islam than Muslims.

From WND July 18 by Garth Kant

SHOOTER'S MOTIVE STUMPS OBAMA, FBI, MEDIA

WASHINGTON – The nation’s top talk-radio host, Rush Limbaugh, says parody becomes real life when the Obama administration tries to respond to Islamic terrorism in America.

President Obama said it was a “lone gunman.”

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the FBI was “looking at a variety of possible motives.”
U.S. Attorney Bill Killian said “it’s premature to speculate on the motives of the shooter.”

FBI Special Agent-in-Charge Edward Reinhold said he “no idea” what the shooter’s motive was because because, “There is nothing that ties him to an international terror organization.”

Given those statements, Limbaugh observed that life seemed to be imitating art, as the nation’s top investigators claim to be stumped as to what possibly could have prompted Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez to murder four Marines in broad daylight in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Thursday.

On Friday, Limbaugh dug up a comedy skit from 2007 that he said “parodies exactly what’s happening in the Drive-By Media this moment, today and last night.”

The eight-year-old skit on Fox News Channel’s “1/2 Hour News Hour” included dialogue that Limbaugh suggested was a mirror of the real-life reaction to Thursday’s shooting:

Female anchor: Six men have just been charged with conspiracy to murder in connection with a plot to blow up buses and subway cars in London during the summer of 2005.

Male anchor: The six would-be suicide bombers charged are Muktar Said Abraham, Ramzi Muhammed, Yasin Omar, Manfu Asiedu, Adel Yahya and Hussain Osman.

Female anchor: Since their capture, the big question for Scotland Yard has been, “What exactly is it that links these six individuals? What common denominator motivated this seemingly random group of young men?”

Male anchor: It is puzzling, isn’t it?

“Yes, it was, very puzzling,” Limbaugh jested sarcastically. “That was parody in 2007, eight years ago. Today it’s the news.”

If the administration, the FBI and the media were stumped, a group that monitors online posts by radical Islamists was on the case.

A picture of Abdulazeez had already begun to emerge on the day of the massacre, after the SITE Intelligence Group discovered a blog post from the shooter extolling the virtues of fighting “Jihad for the sake of Allah.”

On July 13, Abdulazeez wrote, “Don’t let the society we live in deviate you from the task at hand. Take your study guide, the Quran and Sunnah, with strength and faith, and be firm as you live your short life in this prison called Dunya.” In the context of the post, Dunya apparently signified the world, as opposed to the afterlife.

Limbaugh also observed how readily the media parroted the Obama administration’s line that investigators were still searching for a motive in Thursday’s attack.

He played a series of audio clips from television news coverage of the massacre:
Shepard Smith: “Now the search for motive.”
Don Lemon: “… too soon to know the motive.”
Lester Holt: “The motive for the attacks unknown.”
John Berman: “Any sign of a motive?”
Paul Cruickshank: “We do not yet know the motive at this point.”
Erin Burnett: “They’re desperately trying to figure out what the motive might have been.”
Wolf Blitzer: “This individual, we don’t yet know the motive, Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez.”
Joie Chen: “Investigators are already looking into the suspected shooter’s background to identify some motive. The trail so far has not revealed much.”

Limbaugh then deadpanned, “The media’s pulling its hair out trying to figure why in the world would this average, ordinary blend-in-with-the-crowd, never-stop-him-in-a-lineup American teenager, Mohammed Youssuf Abdulazeez, what in the world could have motivated him to shoot five people. Why in the world would something like this happen?”

Tongue firmly in cheek, the talk-radio king then diagnosed the hesitation to state the obvious.

“We have to be very, very careful here, my friends, not to rush to judgment. We have to move slower than the glaciers move to avoid bigotry, to avoid prejudice, to avoid racism and, obviously, to avoid the truth. And that’s what we must avoid at all costs. We must not find the truth. And if anybody does find the truth, they better not say it.”

Local Muslims on Tennessee shootings: Islam does not teach hate

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Members of the Hadee Mosgue took part in a prayer service on the last day of the holy month of Ramadan. Many of those in attendance have been fasting to remember those who are less fortunate.

A lot of those in attendance said they always feel the pain of innocent people killed at the hands of Islamic extremists.

Aquil Sharif was born in York County and has been a Muslim since birth. He says violence is not the answer among the true followers of Islam, but he says it happens all the time.

“Unfortunately, there are a few extremists that have given Islam a bad name,” Sharif said, “but those people have no connection with the religion.”

Sharif says as soon as he heard about the shootings in Chattanooga, he expected an attack on Islam by those who call Islam a religion of hate.

Why is Islam seen as a religion of hate? Could it be the jihad that is done using Islamic texts and teachings as justification?

Dr. Zarar Bajwa says true followers of Islam love all people, and those who were responsible for the attacks on September 11, 2001 also hijacked the religion.

“Islam does not teach hate,” Bajwa said. “There may be some radicals, but that does not make the religion bad.”

Read your Qur'an, Bajwa and it is obvious Islam teaches hatred against non-believers. Listen to Al-Azhar University and you will hear the hatred.

Here are some of the facts surrounding the Chattanooga jihad, facts that the MSM, politicians, pundits and Islamic apologists will never tell you, or admit are true.

Isn't it interesting that once again, the motive for the attack remains a mystery. Nothing will intrude on the world of "Islam is a religion of peace" and anyone who says otherwise is one big Islamophobe. Even as the world focuses on how this cannot be about Islam, our jihadist claims, in a lengthy blog post that indeed, this is all about Islamic texts and teachings.

Instead of trying to summarize this Islamo-Nazi’s blog entries, I decided to just post them and let you read them yourselves. It’s way more revealing that what’s been posted thus far and it will leave no doubt that Abdulazeez murdered the four Marines in Chattanooga for Islam and the prophet Muhammad. You might say it’s a kind of manifesto he left behind:

Understanding Islam: The Story of the Three Blind Men

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the Name of Allah (SWT), the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Understanding Islam: The Story of the Three Blind Men

There were three blind men that wanted to know what an elephant looks like. Somebody took them to the zoo and directed them to the elephant cage. Since they cannot see, they used their sense of touch to get a description of the appearance of the elephant.

They went around the elephant touching it from different parts. One of the blind men grabbed the ear of the elephant, the second one grabbed the foot, and the third one grabbed the tail of the elephant.

When they went back people were asking them, “what do you know about the elephant?” The one who grabbed the ear said, “Well the elephant is very wide and flat”. The other two became upset and said, “No, that is not correct”. The one who grabbed the foot said, “He’s wrong. It’s just like the trunk of a tree”. The third one said “Both of you don’t know what you are talking about, the elephant is like a long rope”. They continued arguing and could not come to an agreement on the appearance of the elephant.

Why did they get this different understanding of what an elephant is? It was because of their physical impairment and being limited to their sense of touch. They were all telling the truth and described to the best of their knowledge. But they were accusing the others of lying. Why? Because they don’t know where the others are coming from.

As Muslims, we often do this. We have a certain understanding of Islam and keep a tunnel vision of what we think Islam is. What we know is Islam and everything else is not. And we don’t have appreciation for other points of view and accept the fact that we may be missing some important parts of the religion.

Because Islam is a comprehensive religion we need to know everything from its message. The more comprehensive our knowledge of it is, the better our understanding of it will be and of what goes on around us.

We often talk about the Sahaba (RA) and their Ibada. We talk about their worshiping at night, making thikr, reading quran, fasting, sala. But did you ever notice that in one certain period towards the end of the lives of the Sahaba (RA), almost every one of the Sahaba (RA) was a political leader or an army general? Every one of them fought Jihad for the sake of Allah....

Read it all, and then ponder this question; why do all those in power openly deny the Islamic influence? Witness this disturbing display of spin as just one of the many obfuscations of the danger of telling the truth about Islam.

CNN Analyst Unsure If Mass Shooter Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez's Name is Muslim

On Thursday's The Lead, CNN analyst Tom Fuentes was unwilling to conclude that the perpetrator of a mass shooting against servicemen in Chattanooga, Tennessee was Muslim. John Berman asked the former FBI assistant director, "Now that we have the name [Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez], the key questions are what?" Fuentes replied, "I know...what the name sounds like, but we don't know that it's a Muslim name. We know it's an Arabic name. We don't know what this individual was believing in, and that's what they're going to be trying to determine."

Minutes earlier, Berman brought on Juliette Kayyem, a former assistant secretary of homeland security, and made a much more conclusive statement: "I got to state the obvious here...this is a Muslim name, Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez." Kayyem, who is of Lebanese Christian descent, confirmed that this was the case, and provided some background:

JOHN BERMAN: I want to bring in our security analysts: Juliette Kayyem, a homeland security analyst; former Massachusetts homeland security advisor; and federal homeland security advisor – Harry Houck, former cop, security advisor to us as well – CNN analyst. I got to state the obvious here: this is a name – this is a Muslim name, Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez-

JULIETTE KAYYEM, FORMER ASST. SECY., DEPT. OF HOMELAND SECURITY: Yes-

BERMAN: Does that change the nature of this investigation?

KAYYEM: Well, change – we just don't know where it began, so 'change' is a strong word. It does, obviously, make people concerned – both about other domestic ties – are there others that he was affiliated with? And then, of course international ones.

Now, I should say, just from my knowledge of this: 'Youssef' is a common Egyptian – excuse me, Iraqi or Kuwaiti name – so, just something for people to know. And so, this will now require not just the FBI's domestic case; but obviously now, the CIA and other foreign intelligence agencies.

It should be pointed out that Iraq is 99 percent Muslim, and Kuwait is 76.7 percent Muslim, according to the CIA's World Factboook.

Is it any wonder Americans, and the West are clueless as to the reality of jihad? How can you defeat a stated enemy when you refuse to say what motivates the hatred?

So says Foreign Policy magazine.

No really, this surreal construct is serious and believes showing more pictures of happily wed gay couples will demoralize the Islamic State to the point where they will just evaporate.

This is what passes for honest dialogue on Islam from the media these days.

From PJ Media July 9 by Robert Spencer

The Claim That ‘Gay Marriage Can Defeat the Islamic State’ Is Everything You Need to Know About the Left

For absurd foreign policy prescriptions, it’s hard to beat the Obama State Department. But Foreign Policy magazine gave them a run for their money: in an article entitled “Can Gay Marriage Defeat the Islamic State? A Few — Admittedly Sappy — Thoughts on the Power of #LoveWins,” Rosa Brooks argues that the horrific terror entity can be overcome by the awesome power of the rainbow.

Brooks asks her readers: Do you want to fight the Islamic State and the forces of Islamic extremist terrorism? … I’ll tell you the best way to send a message to those masked gunmen in Iraq and Syria and to everyone else who gains power by sowing violence and fear. Just keep posting that second set of images.

Brooks is referring to images of gay marriage supporters celebrating the Supreme Court’s ruling.

Post them on Facebook and Twitter and Reddit and in comments all over the Internet. Send them to your friends and your family. Send them to your pen pal in France and your old roommate in Tunisia. Send them to strangers.

Where did Brooks get the idea that a mass posting of photos of gay marriage supporters would conquer the Islamic State? Because, well:

… that’s the lesson of history: Brutality and fear can keep people down for only so long. The Nazis learned this; the Soviets learned it; the Ku Klux Klan learned it; Pol Pot learned it; the Rwandan génocidaires learned it. One of these days, the Islamic State and al-Qaeda will learn it too.

It is much, much more likely — or certain — that the Islamic State sees the Supreme Court decision on gay marriage as evidence of the United States’ decadence and societal decay, and that this will serve to embolden and encourage them.

There is another glaring fallacy in her “analysis”: if the Nazis and Soviets and KKK and Pol Pot and Rwandan génocidaires ever really learned that “brutality and fear can keep people down for only so long,” they didn’t learn it in the manner Brooks seems to think they did.

It is hard to tell how, exactly, she thinks they learned this. By viewing photos of loving couples of any persuasion? Did a photo of an embracing couple move Adolf Hitler to call his genocidal armies back home and close the extermination camps?

Did some image of happiness make Pol Pot realize his stacks and shelves full of skulls were a terrible mistake, leading him to resign and become a florist?

No rational analysis will find Brooks’ claim to be the “lesson of history.” If the Nazis learned that “#LoveWins,” they must have learned it in the blood and ruin of Berlin, as Soviet troops ran wild and raped every young German woman they could catch. The groups Brooks names learned that #LoveWins — if they ever learned it — at the point of a gun.

They were forced by violence to stop what they were doing.

ISRAEL CLOSES EGYPTIAN BORDER, COUNTRY ON HIGH ALERT AFTER ISIS CLASHES IN SINAI

Israel has closed border crossings into Egypt and shut off a highway running along the border. This follows a wave of attacks by ISIS in Egypt which have been described as “full-fledged war”. Hamas is believed to be working with the jihadist insurgents.

As the world mourned the victims of the terrorist atrocities in France, Tunisia and Kuwait which between them claimed dozens of lives, Egypt was fighting its own battles with a home-grown ISIS insurgent group known as “Sinai Province”.

On Monday, the Egyptian state prosecutor Hisham Barakat was killed when a car bomb detonated as his motorcade made its way from the Misr al-Jadida quarter of Cairo to his office. A number of Barakat’s security personnel and passers-by were injured, and 30 cars damaged in the blast, the first in many years to successfully claim the life of a senior official, according to Haaretz.

Then on Wednesday, Sinai Province unleashed a wave of attacks on towns all along the coast, including Rafah on the Gaza border, Sheikh Zuweid and El-Arish. There are conflicting reports on the numbers of casualties; The Guardian reported a source in the Egyptian army putting the death toll at 17 soldiers and 100 militants, although both figures are likely to have been massaged for PR purposes. The paper notes that others have estimated the military’s death toll at around 30, while Haaretz puts the total death toll atat least 50.

A spokesman for the Egyptian military, Mohammed Samir Abdelaziz Ghaneem posted to his Facebook page: “70 terrorists attacked 5 checkpoints simultaneously in North Sinai.” The jihadists appear to be adopting techniques used in Syria and Iraq by ISIS, in which towns are laid siege to and overtaken, allowing the group to then lay claim to the surrounding villages and rural areas.

Haaretz said that the battles have gone further than mere insurgency, noting: “the fighting raging in Sinai since Wednesday has crossed the line between combating “terror cells” and turned into a full-fledged war. This is a war on many fronts – similar to the war waged in Iraq against Islamic State (also known as ISIS or ISIL). Some of this war is taking place in the big cities like Cairo, Faiyum, El Arish and Rafah; and some in open areas. It’s like a war against a foreign enemy, although most of the enemy consists of Egyptian citizens.”

Most of Wednesday’s fighting was based around Sheikh Zuweid on the Mediterranean coast, where all military posts were hit simultaneously. Security forces have reported that the attack was repelled, but other sources have said that the town has already been taken over, and that militants have been lining the roads approaching the town with bombs in order to deter Egyptian forces attempting to regain control.

El Arish may also have come under ISIS control. If they are being run by Sinai Province, the region is likely to witness the sorts of severe punishments for infringement of religious rules already witnessed in Islamic State territory.

Sickening new ISIS video shows caged prisoners lowered into a swimming pool and drowned, shot with an RPG and blown up with explosive-filled 'necklaces'

Vile jihadis fighting for the Islamic State in Iraq have brutally murdered five prisoners by locking them in a metal cage and lowering them into a swimming pool.

Filmed in the ISIS stronghold of Mosul, the sickening seven minute long video uses expensive underwater cameras to film the terrified men as they sink below the surface with no hope of escape.

Shortly afterwards the cage is lifted back out of the water, with the dying men - who are understood to have been accused of spying - seen foaming at the mouth as they lie motionless on the floor of the cage, piled on top of one another.

Elsewhere in the video, ISIS militants are filmed brutally killing prisoners by locking them in a car and shooting them with a grenade launcher, while another group of jihadis chain a set of prisoners together with explosive necklaces which are then detonated.

The barbaric video is a new low for the terror group, whose catalogue of horrific filmed murders includes the savage beheading of several British and American hostages, the burning to death of Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh and numerous clips of people being shot and stoned to death.

The main section of the film begins with the stomach-churning sight of five men being locked in a tiny metal cage that has been suspended above a luxury swimming pool somewhere in the ISIS-held city of Mosul in Nineveh province.

Standing up straight with their legs bound, the men look reasonably calm until the moment the cage begins to be lowered into the pool.

As the water begins to enter, the victims start to panic, praying and pacing the tiny metal cell.

Once completely submerged, the video cuts to the high-tech underwater cameras, which show the men thrashing around until they appear to lose conciousness and fall to the floor.

The cage is then removed from the pool, with the dying men seen foaming at the mouths as they lie piled on top of one another under the blazing Iraqi sun....
