In England, the prisons are recruiting grounds for Islamists and jihadists.  Islam in American prisons is growing and recruiting, or Da'wa is happening in many a Greybar Hotel.  No surprise bin-Laden was interested in continuing the Da'wa among the black community as the more converts to Islam, especially large, muscular, disenfranchised black men from prison, the better for the conquest of the globe and the rise of the next caliphate.

Osama Bin Laden's Anti-U.S. Strategy: Exploit Minority Converts 

Osama bin Laden aspired to damage the United States not only through persistent terror attacks, but also by attempting to inflame race and class tensions in hopes of tearing down the country from the inside out, according to officials briefed on the evidence trove recovered from the al Qaeda leader's Pakistan compound.

According to materials in the cache of documents recovered in the U.S. Navy SEAL raid that brought down the terror leader, bin Laden planned to specifically recruit African-American Muslim converts to carry out attacks on the homeland. The goal was to not only kill and maim in the actual operations, but to create a divisiveness that would cause more damage than al Qaeda could ever hope to do on their own.

"Because there were many blacks in the U.S., he wanted to capitalize on them to further the jihadi cause," one U.S. official told ABC News. "Al Qaeda sees the black convert community as ripe for recruiting."

While it has long been known that radical preachers and some prison imams have targeted the convert community for jihad recruitment, the references show core al Qaeda's keen interest in the tactic.

"This is pretty heady stuff," another person briefed on the material said.

But it's also strategy that civil rights activist and President of the National Action Network Rev. Al Sharpton said was "radical" and outrageous.

"I think it would be the most cynical abuse of African-Americans and America in general," Sharpton told ABC News. "Remember, Osama bin Laden killed blacks, whites, Latinos, everyone on 9/11... For him to use race relations in the U.S. in a way to support his terroristic barbarism is the absolute height of cynicism."

Minority groups have previously suffered in the aftermath of terror attacks or attempted attacks, though most of those incidents have been directed at Muslim-Americans. Ibrahim Hooper, National Communications Director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said those incidents are not indicative of the American people and any belief by bin Laden that he could prompt widespread violence in such a way between any groups was a "fantasy."

Uh, no.  The minority group most often attacked because of who they are are the Jews.  FBI statistics from 2009 show attacks on Jews account for over 70% while attacks against Muslims amount to less than 9%.  

"I think the viewpoint reflects more of a Neo-Nazi, white supremacist outlook on American whites than anything based in reality," he said. "I think it's fantasy based on a fundamental misunderstanding of American society."

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Defense lawyers for a Somali-American teen charged with trying to detonate a bomb at a holiday tree-lighting ceremony say a federal agent tried to coerce him into violence.

Attorneys for Mohamed O. Mohamud said in a filing Friday that emails from an agent known only as "Bill Smith" prove the teen's innocence and show the federal government is not playing fair with the evidence it is supposed to provide.

"The correspondence between Bill Smith and (Mohamud) demonstrates that Smith was acting as an agent provocateur, attempting to encourage (Mohamud) to engage in violent activity in this country," the defense team wrote.

Prosecutors had said in a filing April 7 that the emails did not relate to the facts of the case, and acknowledged that the agent was working for the government, but that the contact was brief.

Mohamud, now 20, has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to ignite a weapon of mass destruction at a Nov. 26 Christmas tree-lighting ceremony in Portland, Ore. The FBI has said that its agents were acting as his coconspirators as part of a sting and that there was never a real explosive device.

His defense attorneys, Stephen Sady and Steven Wax, appeared to be launching an entrapment defense in their arguments that the agent's emails show the government shouldn't have control over what evidence it provides to the defense. They said in the filing that the government had given them "voluminous" amounts of emails with "hundreds of lines of distracting code."

Sady and Wax argue that the agent initiated discussions about terrorism in the U.S., and that Mohamud didn't take any action based on that conversation. That, they say, shows that Mohamud wasn't predisposed to violence.

Mohamud's predisposition - his will to commit violence - is key to an entrapment defense. If the defense can show that government agents put the idea of a tree-lighting bombing into Mohamud's head, it enhances their prospects for a successful defense.

Mohamud's will to commit violence came not from the urging of the FBI but from the texts and tenets of Islam, the Qur'an and the traditions of Muhammad.

Osama bin Laden warned in the final tape he recorded before being killed by American commandos there will be no US security without Palestine security, an Islamist website reported Sunday.

In an audio message addressed to US President Barack Obama, he said: "America will not be able to dream of security until we live in security in Palestine. It is unfair that you live in peace while our brothers in Gaza live in insecurity."

And all this time we have been told by the media that Gaza, Hamas and the refugees have nothing to do with Islam. 

"Accordingly, and with the will of God, our attacks will continue against you as long as your support for Israel continues," he warned..

Al-Qaeda on Friday confirmed the death of bin Laden but warned that those rejoicing his killing would have their "blood mixed with tears."

More violence against non-Muslims in Egypt.  The continuing pattern of what can be called Christian genocide by Islam ramps up another notch.  The end of Christians in the Middle East is almost done, Islam has effectively achieved what the Qur'an calls for by removing a source of irritation to Muslims.  The last step is the elimination of Israel and the Jews, and that is only a few steps behind Christians.

This latest attack serves to illustrate again that Christians are seen as a blight on the land by Islam, despite what the MSM and Islamic apologists tells us.

Muslims Attack Christians in Egypt, 12 Killed, 232 Injured 

(AINA) -- Christians Copts in the area of Embaba were attacked Saturday evening by Muslim Salafis. The attacks lasted for 14 hours. The Muslims fired guns and rifles and hurled Molotov cocktails at Coptic churches, houses and businesses. 12 Copts were killed and 232 injured.

The church of Saint Mina church was the first to be attacked. According to its pastor Fr. Abanoub the attack started at 5.30 PM on Saturday May 7, when church parishioners noticed a large number of Salafis, estimated at 3000 men, congregating near the church. Anticipating trouble, the army was called. The Salafis went to the church and asked to search it because they believed a Christian girl named called Abir, who had converted to Islam, married a Salafi and wanted to revert back to Christianity, was hiding inside the church. The Muslims circulated a rumor that the husband of Abir received a call from her asking him to save her as she was being "tortured" inside the church.

The governor of Giza said that there are no girls hiding in St. Mina Church. He falsely claimed that things were under control and a "reconciliation" meeting will be arranged for tomorrow. The army later cordoned off the entire district of Embaba.

Father Yohanna Mansour from Giza Bishopric confirmed that no one knows this alleged girl called Abir. He said the congregation was meeting at church and the Salafis wanted to break into the church and force a search to look for this alleged convert, he said in an interview with the Egyptian State TV. "Muslims always come invited to church, but this would have set a precedent that Muslims would use to search our churches." He refused the "reconciliation" meeting and insisted on the application of the law.

According to Fr. Abanoub the Salafis started shooting at 5:30 but the army arrived at 10 PM. "I called everyone, but no one bothered to come." He said six policemen came and left when they saw the shooting. There were also snipers shooting the parishioners from rooftops. "I mourn all those young people who died. We now must ask for international protection."

The second church attacked by Salafis was St. Mary and St Abanob, also in Embaba. Muslims prevented the fire brigade from reaching it. Copts were also shot. This video shows the wounded brought inside the church.

The third church attacked was St. Mary Church in Wehda Street in Embaba, the ground floor of which was completely torched (video).

An apartment complex inhabited by Copts, near St. Mina Church, was set on fire after being looted. Another two houses were torched (video).

Youssef Edward, a deacon at St. Mina Church, said the army and security forces stood watching while Muslims threw Molotov cocktail at homes. He said the Muslims who attacked the church came from outside, as Muslims from the area live peacefully with them. "The army was not able to control the situation, and the mob was chanting 'Islamic', 'Islamic'" (video showing wounded Copts and a dead Copt named Medhat in St. Mina).

As soon as Copts heard of the Salafi attacks, they rushed to protect their churches. There were contradictory reports of Copts using guns to defend themselves.

Witnesses reported the Salafis were wearing Taliban style clothes. "I believe they are of the 3000 Jihadis who returned lately from Afghanistan," Saber Loutfi, one of the Embaba residents told Coptic Free Voice.

It’s increasingly clear that the operation was a planned assassination, multiply violating elementary norms of international law. There appears to have been no attempt to apprehend the unarmed victim, as presumably could have been done by 80 commandos facing virtually no opposition—except, they claim, from his wife, who lunged towards them. In societies that profess some respect for law, suspects are apprehended and brought to fair trial. I stress “suspects.” In April 2002, the head of the FBI, Robert Mueller, informed the press that after the most intensive investigation in history, the FBI could say no more than that it “believed” that the plot was hatched in Afghanistan, though implemented in the UAE and Germany. What they only believed in April 2002, they obviously didn’t know 8 months earlier, when Washington dismissed tentative offers by the Taliban (how serious, we do not know, because they were instantly dismissed) to extradite bin Laden if they were presented with evidence—which, as we soon learned, Washington didn’t have. Thus Obama was simply lying when he said, in his White House statement, that “we quickly learned that the 9/11 attacks were carried out by al Qaeda.”

Nothing serious has been provided since. There is much talk of bin Laden’s “confession,” but that is rather like my confession that I won the Boston Marathon. He boasted of what he regarded as a great achievement.

There is also much media discussion of Washington’s anger that Pakistan didn’t turn over bin Laden, though surely elements of the military and security forces were aware of his presence in Abbottabad. Less is said about Pakistani anger that the U.S. invaded their territory to carry out a political assassination. Anti-American fervor is already very high in Pakistan, and these events are likely to exacerbate it. The decision to dump the body at sea is already, predictably, provoking both anger and skepticism in much of the Muslim world.

It’s like naming our murder weapons after victims of our crimes: Apache, Tomahawk… It’s as if the Luftwaffe were to call its fighter planes “Jew” and “Gypsy.”

We might ask ourselves how we would be reacting if Iraqi commandos landed at George W. Bush’s compound, assassinated him, and dumped his body in the Atlantic. Uncontroversially, his crimes vastly exceed bin Laden’s, and he is not a “suspect” but uncontroversially the “decider” who gave the orders to commit the “supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole” (quoting the Nuremberg Tribunal) for which Nazi criminals were hanged...

Afghanistan: Fierce fighting follows Kandahar attack 

Heavy machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades have reportedly been used by both sides

 

Intense fighting has taken place in Afghanistan's second city of Kandahar amid co-ordinated militant attacks, including at least six suicide bombs.

The Taliban said it was behind the triple assault on the provincial governor's office, the Afghan spy agency and a police station.

At least two people were killed and 23 injured in the fighting, which spread panic on the streets.

One official linked the attack to the recent escape of hundreds of prisoners.

Gunmen in a four-storey shopping centre exchanged fire with security forces in a compound belonging to Governor Tooryalai Wesa.

"This clearly was intended to be a spring offensive spectacular attack which was thwarted by Afghan National Security Forces," said US Marine Maj-Gen James Laster, a spokesman for the international coalition in Afghanistan.

Firing continued until late on Saturday, but officials told Reuters news agency that this was mainly from clearing operations.

 

Paralysed city

Earlier, a spokesman for the Afghan spy agency, the National Directorate of Security, told the BBC the attack on the governor's compound was now over and two Taliban fighters had died.

He added: "But they are still attacking my office from a nearby Kandahar hotel. Fighting is still intense.

"They are using heavy machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades, hand grenades and AKs [AK-47s].

"The Taliban could use the cover of darkness to launch more attacks.

"They planned this well in advance. They wanted to take control of government offices and take senior Afghan officials hostage.''

There were at least seven explosions, paralysing the city, says the BBC's Bilal Sarwary in Kabul.

At least two suicide bombers who tried to attack police were shot dead before they could reach their targets.

Witnesses described civilians running through the streets for safety and shopkeepers closing their stores in case of looting.

Military helicopters were hovering above the city.

"Forget human, even the birds have fled the city," a shopkeeper in Kandahar's Chowke Madad district told our correspondent.

Bin Laden Intelligence Haul Is 'Largest Ever' 

The Pentagon claims data found at bin Laden's compound in Pakistan is the "single largest collection of intelligence ever" as it releases new video footage of the terror chief.

The US has made public videos showing the al Qaeda leader practising terrorist propaganda speeches and watching coverage of himself on television.

In one film bin Laden is shown wrapped in a brown blanket and holding a remote control as he flicks back and forth between clips of himself.

In another video, he has noticeabley dyed his beard to eliminate the grey streaks and it is neatly trimmed as he rehearses a message.

The footage was seized from the Abbottabad compound where America's most wanted terrorist was shot, nearly 10 years after the September 11 attacks that al Qaeda coordinated.

An intelligence official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the videos and other evidence found proves that the compound was an "active command and control centre".

He said it was clear that bin Laden "was not just a strategic thinker for the group" but was also involved in "operational planning" and "driving tactical decisions".

America claims that evidence taken during the raid includes phone numbers and documents which it hopes will help dismantle al Qaeda.

However, Sky's foreign affairs editor Tim Marshall played down US claims, saying the impact of bin Laden's death on al Qaeda leadership is minimal.

"In the rules and regulations, everyone that swears loyalty, swears loyalty to the leader no matter who they are,' he said.

"The moment he was killed, the number two Ayman al Zawahri becomes the leader and all the loyalty is to him.'

Marshall added that the US will be publicising their "single largest collection of intelligence ever" in the hope of "spooking" al Qaeda leadership into moving quickly and breaking their cover or going to ground and thereby disrupting their operations.

Two more flying Imams claim victimization and equate it with Rosa Parks

You would think that by now, Muslims, especially Muslims in a power position would know that when you appear in public wearing "Muslim garb" as Juan Williams famously said, you invite extra scrutiny and an emotional reaction.  The fact they were on their way to a "Islamophobia" convention also calls into question their motives and attitudes.  It is not Islamophobia to feel anxious when seeing Muslims in traditional clothing, as it is Muslims who, in the name of Allah continue to murder and maim while quoting the Qur'an and shouting Allahu Akbar.  If it was Christians in traditional garb who were blowing innocents up in the name of Christ I would be calling for the same cooperation from Christians as I do Muslims.

The next time radical Christians blow themselves up in a pizza parlor while yelling "Christ Akbar", let me know.

Muslim group: two imams pulled from plane bound for North Carolina  

(CNN) -- An airline is investigating the removal of two imams from a flight headed to North Carolina, ostensibly because passengers felt uncomfortable with their presence of the pair -- both clad in Islamic attire.

The incident occurred Friday on an Atlantic Southeast Airlines flight from Tennessee to North Carolina and it involved Masudur Rahman and Mohamed Zaghloul were wearing traditional Muslim dress, CNN affiliate WCNC reported.

The two -- who hold high religious positions in the Muslim community -- were headed to North Carolina for a conference on prejudice against Muslims, or Islamaphobia. The meeting is sponsored by the North American Imams Federation.

Rahman, who is a professor at the University of Memphis, told the affiliate that the incident reminded him of the prejudice Rosa Parks faced during the civil rights movement.

Yes, and Rosa Parks religious choice allowed for the killing of non-Christians, the blowing up of oneself amidst non-believers and the demand to convert, become a slave or die.  Yes there was racial discrimination during the struggle for civil rights, that has nothing to do with Islam as a complete political and societal doctrine which controls all aspects of one's life and is inherently discriminatory against non-Muslims.

"That history I found today in that plane, and it shouldn't happen with any other person," he said.

Atlantic Southeast Airlines, which operated the flight, said the incident is under investigation, and apologized "for any inconvenience that this may have caused."

Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the civil rights group Council on American-Islamic Relations, told CNN the two men contacted his office and said they were told that passengers were uncomfortable with them on the flight.

"They went through security, even went through secondary security, and got on the plane, were taxiing out," he said.

But then, they were taxied back, Hooper said.

"TSA came on and pulled them off and said the pilot was refusing to fly with them because passengers were uncomfortable with them," Hooper said, referring to the Transportation Security Administration.

Hooper said officials re-screened them and found they were no threat.

While officials tried to get the men back on the plane, "the pilot absolutely refused and ultimately took off," Hooper said.

The pilot of an airplane is the same as a captain of a ship: they have ultimate authority and can control their domain any way they see fit, including kicking passengers off for reasons as simple as having a bad attitude.  I can understand why the imams were removed from the flight, it is the passengers right to feel safe, and since they did not, the cause of the passengers fears must be removed.

The lawsuit claiming "discrimination" cannot be far behind.

Director of Jihad: Osama bin-Laden

It is obvious by now that bin-Laden was not some dirty ragamuffin living in squalor in a cave high in the mountains, but was living a life of relative luxury by Pakistani standards.  The ability he had to command and control Al-Qaeda on every level is becoming apparent, to the embarrassment of US policy-makers and Obama.  Since bin-Laden was leading jihad against the West and his own people, at the behest and protection of the highest officials in the Pakistani government it is now incumbent to view Pakistan as an enemy.

They have proven themselves to be jihadists of the first order and the clamps must be tightened.  Now is not the time to play the "oh, but they really, really want to help" card, it is time to walk the talk and put Pakistan in the same circle of enemies as Iran, Syria, Hamas, Somalia and the Muslim Brotherhood.

We have more actionable intelligence now than we ever had, thanks to bin-Ladens penchant to keep everything on computer or thumb drive.  We have been blessed with a treasure trove of information which, when the final analysis is done will provide us with enough information on the where, who and how that many plots and people will be destroyed.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Osama bin Laden was actively engaged in directing his far-flung network in plots against the United States from the compound in Pakistan where he was killed, a senior U.S. intelligence official said as new video images of the al Qaeda leader were released on Saturday.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said information carted away from the compound by U.S. forces after Monday's raid, represented the largest trove of intelligence ever obtained from a single terrorism suspect.

"This compound in Abbottabad was an active command and control center for al Qaeda's top leader and it's clear ... that he was not just a strategic thinker for the group," the official said. "He was active in operational planning and in driving tactical decisions."

President Barack Obama's administration released five video clips of bin Laden taken from the compound, most of them showing the al Qaeda leader, his beard dyed black, evidently rehearsing the videotaped speeches he sometimes distributed to his followers.

None of the videos was released with sound. The intelligence official said it had been removed because the United States did not want to transmit bin Laden's propaganda. But he said they contained the usual criticism of the United States as well as capitalism.

While several video segments showed him rehearsing, one showed an aging and gray-bearded bin Laden in an austere setting, wrapped in a blanket and wearing a ski cap while watching videotapes of himself.

The official said the personal nature of the videos was further evidence that the man killed in the raid was bin Laden, who carefully managed his public image.

The revelations came as senior Pakistani officials said bin Laden may have lived in Pakistan for more than seven years before he was shot dead by U.S. Navy SEALS, a disclosure that could further strain relations between the two countries.

One of bin Laden's widows told Pakistani investigators that he stayed in a village for nearly two and a half years before moving to the nearby garrison town of Abbottabad, close to the capital of Islamabad, where he was killed.

The wife, Amal Ahmed Abdulfattah, said bin Laden and his family had spent five years in Abbottabad, where one of the most elaborate manhunts in history ended on Monday.

"Amal (bin Laden's wife) told investigators that they lived in a village in Haripur district for nearly two and a half years before moving to Abbottabad at the end of 2005," one of the security officials told Reuters on condition of anonymity.

Abdulfattah, along with two other wives and several children, were among 15 or 16 people detained by Pakistani authorities at the compound after the raid.

The senior U.S. intelligence official said bin Laden's identity had been confirmed after his death in several ways -- by a woman at the compound, by facial recognition methods and by matching against a DNA profile with a likelihood of error of only 1 in 11.8 quadrillion.

An initial review of the information taken from the compound showed bin Laden continued to be interested in attacking the United States and "appeared to show continuing interest in transportation and infrastructure targets," the official said.

Each Muslim country experiencing pangs of "Democratic" change seem to start out with good intentions yet the underlying current has been, as we have seen in Egypt and Libya, based in Islamism and pure Qur'anic doctrine.  Now it is the Tunisians who are expressing their rising distaste at the growing Islamic influence in government. 

Islam is on the march across Africa, a wildfire consuming everything in it's path and then, as if with malice it leaves a black smear on the landscape.  As goes Tunisia, so goes another opportunity to affect real change by secularists and lovers of real freedom.

Islamist fears permeate Tunisian politics 



Former Tunisian Interior Minister Farhat Rajhi sparked controversy on Wednesday (May 4th) when he suggested that the nation's political elite would support a coup d'état if the Islamist Ennahda Movement won the upcoming elections.

The comments were made in a video interview, later uploaded to Facebook. The video quickly became viral and rocketed through the Tunisian blogosphere. The former minister's comments echoed a concern among some Tunisians about the growing influence of Ennahda.

The fears were only heightened after a string of recent incidents that included assaults on liberal intellectuals and artists. However, Ennahda denied that it was responsible for any of the violence, saying that it supported freedom of expression.

"Any Tunisian writer, regardless of his or her intellectual or political positions, has the same rights as the rest of citizens to expression, creation, participation, criticism and protests," Ennahda official Ajmi Ourimi told Assabah weekly. He added that any Ennahda member proven to have violated the movement's bylaws would risk disciplinary actions that may go as far as dismissal from the party.

In one notable incident, Nouri Bouzid, a Tunisian director known for his progressive views, was assaulted near the law school university campus while talking to students about secularism. He said that the person who hit him was an Islamist radical. At that time, he accused members of Ennahda for being responsible. But the movement denied any involvement, saying some were waging a defamation campaign against the party.

Meanwhile, the Tunisian National Chamber of Filmmakers condemned a death threat made by rapper Psyco M at an Ennahda gathering at the Conference Palace in Tunis.

"The sanctity of Tunisian artists is the same as that of Tunisian citizens," a chamber statement read. "There won't be any silence on such violations regardless of their source." The group also called on civil society organisations and political parties to denounce such behaviours.

Cafe owner Abdguni ben Tara told Magharebia that "a number of young fanatics threatened me and demanded that I shut my place down because it, according to them, encourages immorality and kufr. This happened despite my allowing them to present their own religious lessons in the café. They are now demanding me to leave the place."

Mosques have also been the scene of recent political controversy. In a controversial move, some imams were forced out of their positions. In a statement to Echorouk, Ennahda said that they removed imams loyal to the ousted Constitutional Democratic Rally (RCD) and kept the "clean" imams.

The outrageous behavior shown by Islam time and time again ought to have made the impression by now that it does not tolerate anything except Islam.  One would think that the signs being held aloft by the jihadists saying Islam will rule the world, that an insult to Islam will get your head detached from your body would be enough to wake the masses from their somnambulent ways to the dangers.

No, we continue on, listening to those who say Islam is not the problem and believing what we hear with no questions.

A protest by hundreds of Osama Bin Laden supporters sparked fury outside the US Embassy in London today as they staged a mock 'funeral service' for the terror leader.

Police stepped in to separate the protesters and members of the English Defence League amid threats of violence from both sides.

Radicals carrying placards proclaiming 'Islam will dominate the world' branded US leaders 'murderers' and warned vengeance attacks were 'guaranteed'.

For many, it was a shock that the protest was allowed to go ahead in the first place as it came shortly after the verdict into the 7/7 inquest was released by Lady Justice Heather Hallett.

She recorded that the 52 victims had been 'unlawfully' killed when four terrorists attacked three London Underground trains and a bus in 2005.

Lady Justice Hallett made a string of recommendations to both MI5 to prevent further atrocities and to 999 workers to react more effectively to major events.

Relatives of the victims wept openly as the judge announced her verdict and she paid tribute to their 'quiet dignity' before reading the name of each person who died.

However just three miles from the Royal Court of Justice, Muslim protester Abu Muaz, 28, from east London claimed 'it is only a matter of time' before another attack and that the 'West is the enemy'.

Thanks for the heads-up, Abu.

The capital has seen heightened security in recent days over fears of a revenge attacks by Al-Qaeda members.

The protest against Bin Laden's death was organised by controversial preacher Anjem Choudary - who praised both 7/7 and the September 11 attacks.

Choudary has also condemned Christmas and said the flag of Islam will "fly over 10 Downing St and the White House".

The former UK leader of the outlawed al-Muhajiroun and member of the 'poppy-burning' Muslims Against Crusades extremist group called on the U.S. to return bin Laden's body to relatives.

The cowards way out

Somehow, after reading this it did not surprise me to see bin-Laden throwing the female into the fire.  The hadiths of Muhammad have many examples of what he thought of the female Muslim.  Here is but one.

Bin Laden Acted 'Cowardly,' Confused in Final Moments 

Sources involved in the operation that took down Usama bin Laden told Fox News the terrorist leader acted "scared" and "completely confused" in his final moments, "shoving his wife" at the Navy SEAL who ultimately shot him.

The information helps clarify the conflicting details about what exactly happened toward the end of the 40-minute raid on bin Laden's northern Pakistan compound. Sources who were part of the mission said bin Laden acted in a "cowardly manner" when confronted. Fox News has also learned that while bin Laden was unarmed, he was standing near the door within reach of two weapons -- an AK-47 and a Makarov handgun that are now in U.S. custody. The handgun is a 9mm semi-automatic Russian pistol, standard issue in the Russian military until 1991.

A senior U.S. official also told Fox News that only one of the five people killed in the raid was carrying a weapon and firing. The detail seemed at first to diverge from White House accounts claiming the Navy SEALs encountered resistance throughout the raid and were engaged in a firefight during much of the 40-minute operation. However, the scene was described as chaotic, with U.S. forces encountering barricades and women in the compound screaming and attacking the men.

Court Finds Man Guilty for 'Racist' Muslim Comments

A Danish court has found a leading Islamic expert guilty of racism for his comments about Muslims, the latest ruling in an ongoing battle between free speech and Islam in Europe.

Again, what race is Islam?

Lars Hedegaard was charged with racism under Denmark's hate speech law after telling someone at a gathering about the problem of rape committed against Muslim girls by male relatives.

"Of course I made clear that I was not talking about every Muslim man in the country or in the world. By the way, I was not talking specifically about conditions in Denmark," Hedegaard explained.

Hedegaard said it's a fact that can be backed up by hard evidence. But in Denmark, that doesn't matter.

Under Denmark's hate speech law, it doesn't matter if what you said was true. It doesn't matter if it is factual - if it offends someone, you could be charged.

The sheer madness of a law such as this one makes it impossible for one to speak the truth about anything.  What the hell are the Danes thinking?

A guilty verdict hinged on whether what Hedegaard said was intended for a wider audience. A lower court decided it was not, and acquitted him.

Meanwhile, in a Dutch court on Monday, Dutch parliament member Geert Wilders denounced his hate speech trial as "unjust." He branded it a "political trial" and an attempt to suppress free speech.

Wilders is on trial for comparing Islam to fascism.

Wilders outcome is still up in the air, but after this debaucle his fate may be sealed.

Anwar Al-Awlaki is the smooth, English-speaking voice of Al-Qaeda who pops up on occasion and makes the usual death to the Jews, infidels and anyone else we don't like pronouncements is in the spotlight.  Not because he is in a unique position to take the reigns of Al-Qaeda, but that he has been caught in a sting where his true colors came out.  His words betray him, and we need to pay attention to them.

Yemen-based Anwar al-Awlaki - tipped as Osama Bin Laden's successor - urged a Mumbai-style massacre after being duped by a Sun sting.
Security services were last night studying our dossier on his drive to recruit fanatics in the UK over the internet.

He said in an email: "The options that you have for operations could be pipe bombs, assassinations or using a firearm at a location crowded with enemies."

The last suggestion is a clear reference to the Mumbai massacre in which 164 people were killed when terrorist gunmen went on the rampage in the Indian city in 2008.

The Sun contacted warlord Awlaki - widely tipped to become al-Qaeda's global leader following the killing of Osama Bin Laden - in an email sting.

It confirmed the threat he poses to innocent British citizens. It showed the ease with which a determined extremist can link up with him.
And it provided a grim insight into how al-Qaeda can recruit disciples through the internet.
Awlaki, 40, has already engineered a string of attempted outrages here and in the US.

He brainwashed 21-year-old student Roshonara Choudhry into stabbing Labour MP Stephen Timms over his support for the war in Iraq.

And he urged British Airways computer worker Rajib Karim, 31 - now in jail - to assist in a plot to blow up an airliner in a Lockerbie-style attack.

Judge Files Complaint against Merkel over Bin Laden Comments

Chancellor Merkel's reaction to Osama bin Laden's death has proven unpopular.

A Hamburg judge has filed a criminal complaint against Chancellor Angela Merkel for "endorsing a crime" after she stated she was "glad" that Osama bin Laden was killed by US forces. Meanwhile a new poll reveals that a majority of Germans do not see the terrorist's death as a reason to celebrate.

Schadenfreude, the enjoyment of others' suffering, may be a famously German concept, but it is apparently not a feeling that many Germans aspire to. The political and public fallout following Chancellor Angela Merkel's statement on Monday that she was "glad" Osama bin Laden had been killed was among the most hotly debated topics in the German media this week.

Politicians, including those within her own center-right coalition, said that no death was cause for celebration, and reproved the remark as un-Christian and vengeful.


But Hamburg judge Heinz Uthmann went even further. He alleges that the chancellor's statement was nothing short of illegal, and filed a criminal complaint against Merkel midweek, the daily Hamburger Morgenpost reported Friday.

"I am a law-abiding citizen and as a judge, sworn to justice and law," the 54-year-old told the paper, adding that Merkel's words were "tacky and undignified."

In his two-page document, Uthmann, a judge for 21 years, cites section 140 of the German Criminal Code, which forbids the "rewarding and approving" of crimes. In this case, Merkel endorsed a "homicide," Uthmann claimed. The violation is punishable by up to three years' imprisonment or a fine.

"For the daughter of a Christian pastor, the comment is astonishing and at odds with the values of human dignity, charity and the rule of law," Uthmann told the newspaper.

A Sober German Reaction

While the judge's reaction may seem extreme, his sentiments are apparently shared by 64 percent of the German population. That was the proportion of Germans who said bin Laden's death was "no reason to rejoice..."

Info on jihadist plots taken from bin-Ladens home reveal train and holiday attacks

The amount of information taken from bin-Ladens home has, so far provided more than a glimpse into the workings of Al-Qaeda and their future plans for the dirty kuffir.  It will be months before all of it is processed and analyzed, but for now the details gleaned will greatly aid our efforts to break up potential plots earlier, as well as provide valuable intel on the who's who of Al-Qaeda.

One disturbing plot involves trains, and the derailing thereof.  I ride the train instead of flying, and now the thought of my AmTrak Coast Starliner plummiting off a bridge that had been sabotaged will be more in the forefront of my thoughts. 

We are in a position to not just foil plots, but to actually learn the ideology and motives behind these future attacks.  It is a matter of looking at the ideology driving the attacker and couple that with their direct actions.  In other words, equate jihadist and any attacks with the doctrines of Islam.  Simple and easy, why not give it a try?

Al Qaeda threats, terror plans surface   

(CNN) -- Al Qaeda warnings against the United States emerged Friday as the materials taken from Osama bin Laden's compound continued to yield a trove of intelligence, including details about a possible attack on the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

Al Qaeda, the bin Laden terrorist network that carried out the deadly attack in 2001, confirmed its leader's death on Friday in a Web statement and used that opportunity to taunt and threaten the United States.

"Sheikh Osama didn't build an organization that will vanish with his death or fades away with his departure," according to the statement, which CNN could not independently authenticate.

The statement, which congratulates the "Islamic Nation on the martyrdom of their devoted son Osama," repeated themes and threats made over the years in prior al Qaeda statements.

"The blood of the mujahid sheikh, Osama bin Laden, may God have mercy on him, is very dear to us and more precious to us and to every Muslim from being shed in vain," the statement said. A mujahid is defined as a Muslim engaged in what he considers to be jihad.

"This blood will be a curse that will chase the Americans and their agents, a curse that will pursue them inside and outside their country, and soon -- with God's help -- we pray that their happiness turns into sorrow and may their blood mix with their tears and let Sheikh Osama's resonate again."

In its pronouncements, al Qaeda frequently cites the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians, and it did so again, saying Friday that America "will neither enjoy nor live in security until our people in Palestine live it and enjoy it."

"The soldiers of Islam in groups and as individuals will continue to plan and plot without any fatigue, boredom, despair, surrender or indifference until you receive from them a cunning misfortune that will gray the hair of the child even before he gets old," the statement said.

Pakistanis were urged to "rise up" and cleanse the "disgrace that was brought upon them by a handful of traitors and thieves" and "their country from the filth of the Americans who have wreaked havoc in the land."

The statement surfaced as protesters packed the streets of Abbottabad -- where bin Laden was shot and killed -- in a rally organized by Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan's largest Islamist party. The demonstrators denounced the U.S. and Pakistani governments.

Also, the statement expressed disdain for the United States, both its efforts and its motives, saying that the Americans managed to kill bin Laden "by disgrace and betrayal." Bin Laden was killed in a U.S. Navy SEAL raid on his compound early Monday in Abbottabad, a military garrison town north of the capital of Islamabad.

"Men and heroes only should be confronted in the battlefields but at the end, that's God's fate. Still we ask, will the Americans be able -- through their media outlets, their agents, their instruments, soldiers, intelligence services and their might -- be able to kill what Sheikh Osama lived for and was killed for? How far! How impossible!"

Bin Laden was buried at sea in what U.S. officials have described as a proper Islamic burial.

But the statement said if Americans treat the bodies of bin Laden or his family members improperly, either dead or alive, or do not hand over the bodies to families, there will be retribution.

"Any offense will open unto your doors of multitudes of evil for which you will only have yourselves to blame."

'Fight, kill and die': Four Muslims tried to recruit undercover police as part of holy war, court hears
A former Taliban fighter tried to recruit undercover police officers to 'fight, kill and die' in a holy war in Afghanistan, a court heard today.

Pakistani-born Munir Farooqi, 54, had been an 'active terrorist' with the Taliban before being jailed in Afghanistan in 2001, Manchester Crown Court heard.

He was then released by Pakistan, flew to Britain and was at the heart of a 'long and delicate process of radicalisation' of the two undercover officers, Manchester Crown Court heard.

The plan began at Islamic bookstalls in Manchester, taking in visits to mosques in the city, but ending with the sole intention of delivering recruits to 'training camps and battlefields' abroad, the jury was told.

'The prosecution allege in this case that this was an organised attempt taking place in Manchester to raise men for the jihad, to recruit fighters,' Andrew Edis QC, prosecuting, told the jury.

'This means finding people who are capable of being persuaded and persuading them that their religious duty requires them to fight to kill and to die, if necessary.

'It means persuading them to travel from the UK to training camps and battlefields abroad, principally in Afghanistan.'

Farooqi was running a Dawah bookstall in Manchester to spread the word of Islam, the court heard, when he was approached by the officers, identified only by the pseudonyms Ray and Simon, in October 2008.

Pakistan warns America not to stage any more raids 

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan warned America Thursday of "disastrous consequences" if it carries out any more raids against terrorists like the one that killed Osama bin Laden, and hit back at international allegations it may have been harboring the al-Qaida chief.

But the government in Islamabad stopped short of labeling Monday's helicopter raid on bin Laden's compound an illegal operation and insisted relations between Washington and Islamabad remained on course.

With calls from some U.S. lawmakers to cut aid to Pakistan following the raid, the European Union said it would not turn its back on the nuclear-armed nation that is seen by many as key to helping negotiate an end to the war in Afghanistan.

The army and the government have come under criticism domestically for allowing the country's sovereignty to be violated. Some critics have expressed doubts about government claims that it was not aware of the raid until after it was over or scolded it for not reacting quickly enough and shooting down the helicopters.

Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir's remarks seemed to be aimed chiefly at addressing that criticism.

"The Pakistan security forces are neither incompetent nor negligent about their sacred duty to protect Pakistan," he told reporters. "There shall not be any doubt that any repetition of such an act will have disastrous consequences," he said.

Bashir repeated Pakistani claims that it did not know anything about the raid until it was too late to stop it. He said the army scrambled two F-16 fighter jets when it was aware that foreign helicopters were hovering over the city of Abbottabad, not far from the capital Islamabad, but they apparently did not get to the choppers on time.

American officials have said they didn't inform Pakistan in advance, fearing bin Laden could be tipped off.

Terrorist Group Setting Up Operations Near Border

Hezbollah Considered To Be More Advanced Than Al-Qaida 

SAN DIEGO -- A terrorist organization whose home base is in the Middle East has established another home base across the border in Mexico.

"They are recognized by many experts as the 'A' team of Muslim terrorist organizations," a former U.S. intelligence agent told 10News.

The former agent, referring to Shi'a Muslim terrorist group Hezbollah, added, "They certainly have had successes in big-ticket bombings."

Some of the group's bombings include the U.S. embassy in Beirut and Israeli embassy in Argentina.

However, the group is now active much closer to San Diego.

"We are looking at 15 or 20 years that Hezbollah has been setting up shop in Mexico," the agent told 10News.

Since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, U.S. policy has focused on al-Qaida and its offshoots.

"They are more shooters than thinkers … it's a lot of muscles, courage, desire but not a lot of training," the agent said, referring to al-Qaida.

Hezbollah, he said, is far more advanced.

"Their operators are far more skilled … they are the equals of Russians, Chinese or Cubans," he said. "I consider Hezbollah much more dangerous in that sense because of strategic thinking; they think more long-term."

Hezbolah has operated in South America for decades and then Central America, along with their sometime rival, sometime ally Hamas.

Now, the group is blending into Shi'a Muslim communities in Mexico, including Tijuana. Other pockets along the U.S.-Mexico border region remain largely unidentified as U.S. intelligence agencies are focused on the drug trade.

I did not realize that New Jersey was becoming another Dearborn.  Paterson, in particular seems to be attracting scores of Muslims and there has already been friction over the building of a mosque.  Are Muslims taking the steps needed to change the perception non-Muslims have of the "religion of peace" such as monitoring their mosques for signs of jihadist activity, supporting security measures by working closely with law enforcement to root out jihadists and opening up their mosques and Islamic schools to critical scrutiny and probing questions? 

It appears not, from this article.  The victimization is in full play here, with local Muslims bemoaning their fate at the hands of Islamophobes.  This would be funny if it were not so dangerous.

N.J. Muslims debate whether Osama bin Laden's death will dispel anti-Islamic sentiment 

Hours after Osama bin Laden’s death was announced, the office of the Paterson-based American Arab Forum received a phone call. The person on the line was looking for Aref Assaf, the organization’s Columbia University-educated president.

"‘Tell your boss that we got his friend and we’re going to get him,’" the man said, according to Assaf, who dismissed the threat as kids pulling a prank.

While the call represented a kind of hostility Assaf said many Arabs commonly endure in the United States, he believed bin Laden’s death might create an opportunity "to open a new chapter."

"We have been paying the price for bin Laden for the last 10 years," Assaf said. "Enough castigating our community. We hope this will serve as a reminder to America that the real source of terror was not in Paterson or Dearborn, Michigan (two cities with significant Arab and Muslim populations) but in Afghanistan and Pakistan."

Uh, no.  The real source of terror is the texts and tenets of Islam as laid down by the Qur'an, hadiths and sunna, and the requirement that Muslims follow Muhammad's behavior exactly as written.  The location is meaningless, as Islam spreads far and wide and is prevalent in Pakistan, Afghanistan AND Dearborn.

In the mosques of Jersey City and outside Arab-owned shops along Main Street in Paterson, opinions differed about whether the death of the world’s most notorious terrorist would alter perceptions that have persisted for nearly a decade.

But across the country, there are already signs that anti-Islamic sentiment has not yet ebbed. In addition to crank phone calls, several other personal attacks were reported after President Obama announced late Sunday night that the al Qaeda leader had been killed.

In Portland, Maine, the message: "Osama Today, Islam Tomorrow" was spray-painted on a mosque. A Texas teacher was suspended after allegedly telling a 9-year-old Muslim girl in his algebra class, "I bet that you’re grieving." And in Anaheim, Calif., eggs were thrown at a nightclub, hitting its owner, Mohammed El Khatib.

These alleged crimes are to be condemned in no uncertain terms, but they do nothing to victimize, they only highlight the stupidity of some people.

It was the kind of reaction Hesham Mahmoud, who was born in Egypt and now lives in Rutherford, said he expected. "If anything, I think his death will have a negative effect, because of all the people out there spreading nonsense about Muslims," said Mahmoud, 42.

Care to give specific examples of the nonsense being spread, Mahmoud?

It will take more than bin Laden’s death to dispel ignorance, said James Yee, executive director of the New Jersey chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations, a Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization. "It is disheartening, and tells me our work is not going to stop," he said. Bin Laden’s death "is not going to change much regarding Muslims being accepted."

You are right, Mr. Yee that bin-Ladens death will not change the view non-Muslims have of Islam.  That change comes when Muslims bring real reform to Islam and with the finality of ijtihad, re-interpret Islam to be the religion of peace that it is claimed to be.

But it may end an era, one in which bin Laden stood as a convenient excuse for bias, said Salaheddin Mustafa, who heads the state chapter of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. He compared "the picture of evil that was bin Laden" with the recent pro-democracy movements in Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain and Libya. "There is the sea change that people will recognize," he said.

Unlike the days after the terror attacks and despite reports from other parts of the country, Mustafa said, there have been relatively few reports of discrimination in New Jersey. "After Sept. 11, there were so many incidents," he said. "I haven’t heard any backlash so far."

Watch for CAIR to make a mountain out of any molehill, to keep the victim fires burning.

Mustafa, a Palestinian born in Jersey City, said more Americans will separate bin Laden "and his cronies" from "people like me and the vast majority, who had nothing to do with" the terror attacks.

OK, fine.  Where do you stand on sharia, the undeniable truth of the Qur'an and the necessity to convert, subjugate or kill unbelievers?

Mohamad Hamamou, an Egyptian native who lives in Secaucus, remembers feeling doubly wounded on Sept. 11. He grieved for the thousands killed — which included scores of Muslims — and despaired at what the attacks meant for his community.

"Uneducated people just look at it from a perspective of, ‘What a Muslim person does is to try and hurt people," Hamamou said.

His concerns were realized. He has been cursed at on the road, threatened by strangers, and glanced at suspiciously in malls.

Bin Laden’s death, while welcomed, will do little to sway those who already have negative perceptions of Muslims, he said. Those views, he added, "have been in their brains for a long time."

What would cause this long-term perception swirling around in their brains that is negative about Islam?  Let's start with the call of "Allahu Akbar" right before the bomb goes off.

When his wife was worried about raising children in an environment that was at times hostile to their religion, he reminded her it would be their children who would lead by example.

Al Ghazaly, the Jersey City elementary school where he sends his children, has a sign greeting visitors written in Arabic calligraphy: "Everyone smiles in the same language."

Not when one follows the Qur'an.  Muslims are not supposed to take disbelievers as friends, and they are to smile at them on the outside but curse them on the inside.

"If we teach our kids love and respect, we know this is going to fade away," he said later that night.

Yursil Kidwai, a 33-year-old American-born Muslim who lives in Basking Ridge, isn’t so sure. Pointing to anti-Islamic rhetoric prevalent in portions of American discourse, Kidwai said bin Laden and the mistrust he engendered remain an albatross around the neck of American Muslims.

"I can’t imagine his death would change anything," he said. Kidwai has dealt with the common stereotypes for years. His mother still asks him to shave his beard, fearing it is too conspicuous and will draw needless attention to his religious beliefs. He was friends with Amir Celoski, the Haledon native, whose burial in an Islamic cemetery in upstate New York received national attention when the town administrator wanted the body disinterred.

"The whole thing was just about bias and hatred," Kidwai said.

Once again it is always about hatred and bias from non-Muslims toward Muslims, never the other way around.
