Most likely juveniles defacing a blank surface, not actual Islamic State jihadists "striking terror into hearts" of the populace. Still, authorities are well advised to keep a sharper eye open. You never know where Islam will strike.

'ISIL we R here' graffitied at elementary school playground in Salem
SALEM, OR (KPTV) -Salem police reported that someone painted alarming graffiti at Miller Elementary School this weekend.
Officers said "ISIL we R here" was spray-painted under a play structure. The graffiti was quickly cleaned up Monday morning.
Salem police said there is no known ISIL activity in the area.
This is also the first time they have seen graffiti like this.
"Of course it's alarming," Miller Elementary School Principal Jessica Brenden said. "It was a big surprise that it happened here at Miller."
Brenden was disappointed someone would do this at her school.
"It's unfortunate we had to put resources into cleaning it up when the resources could be spent in the classroom," Brenden said.
Salem police said there is not much to go on in this case. Officers do not have any suspect description and only know that the crime was committed sometime over the weekend.
Investigators ask that anyone with information about the graffiti call the Salem Police Department at 503-588-6123.
