Continued invasion of Israel, IDF shows restraint by not mowing the attackers down with machine gun fire

No, there was nothing in the report that implied the IDF was ready with automatic weapons fire, but with the determination of the protesters/attackers to destroy Israel and Jews, I would support the wholesale killing of those trying their best to kill me.

If Israel bends over backwards any further they will be able to pick a pin up with their teeth(Houdini used that as an exersize to keep in shape).  No mean feat when you are trying to defend yourself against the most vicious of enemies. 

In any other time, with any other people the co-ordinated attack by a loose group of un-uniformed fighters against a sovereign nation would result in a mass of deaths, well deserved if you ask me.  Today, if it is Israel you are attacking, you have the blessings of Allah and the support of the useful idiots both here and abroad.

This is far from over because as the protesters and their movement grow, so will the clashes between ideology and survival.

Syrian TV: 18 killed, 277 hurt in Naksa Day border protest

IDF does not confirm casualty count, says soldiers firing at infiltrator's lower bodies when warnings not heeded; armed men seen on Syrian side of border; protesters set off 4 land mines at border in Kunetra.

Syrian TV on Sunday reported that 18 people were killed and 277 injured along the Syria-Israel border in the Golan Heights near Majdal Shams, reportedly from IDF fire. The IDF spokesperson said that the only information it had on deaths on the border were Syrian reports and therefore, it could not confirm the number of people killed or if there were any deaths.

After several hours of clashes, IDF began allowing Red Cross teams access to the Syrian border area in order to evacuate wounded protesters, Channel 10 reported.

Two armed men were identified near the border fence in Kunetra, on the Syrian side of the border, the IDF Spokesman told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday afternoon.

There was no further official information about the identity of the gunmen, or their proximity to the border but a security official suggested that the men could be Syrian police or army forces

Prior to spotting the armed men, according to the IDF spokesperson, around 150 people managed to cross to the Syrian side of the fence, entering a mined zone between the two fences in the Majdal Shams area.

"We issued warnings for them to stop advancing. When they continued, we fired warning shots in the air," an IDF spokeswoman told The Jerusalem Post.

When the demonstrators continued toward the Israeli fence, they said, shots were fired at their lower bodies. "We know of 12 injuries," she added.

Wait for the MSM and leftist anti-semites to spin this to where Israel fired on unarmed and innocent civilians for no other reason except for their hatred of non-Jews.

Islam in Egypt: demand for sharia grows

Not the protesters the media showed us back in February, but the real face of Egypt showed up at Tahrir Square, chanting Islamist, Islamist.  They want a pure Islam in Egypt, they also demand that tourists conform to Muslim norms while visiting. 

The one way street appears, whereby non-Muslims must abide by Islamic norms while visiting a Muslim country, and abide by Muslim norms in non-Muslim countries.  I can only imagine how this will play out for the millions of tourists who come to Egypt to see the great wonders of the ancient civilizations.

Protesters demand Sharia Law implementation, tourism that respects Islam

 

Around 300 individuals gathered in Tahrir Square on Friday, chanting “Islamist, Islamist,” and calling for the implementation of Sharia Law in Egypt. Protesters also raised objections regarding tourists who “violate the people’s traditions,” and demanded closer scrutiny of those who receive permission to enter the country for tourism purposes.

The protesters, who held the banner of the “Development and Renaissance Party”, refused a civil state and attacked secularism, arguing that it does not suit the Egyptian people. They stressed that Egypt is a strictly Islamic country. A number of protesters had set up a stage at the same spot that Tahrir revolutionaries used to spread their message. A number of passers-by and street vendors gathered around the group.

The protesters called for tourism that respects cultural norms, saying Gulf tourists visit to violate Egyptian women. Foreign tourists who do not respect the Islamic traditions should also be more strictly regulated, they said.

Bomb attacks kill 24 in north-west Pakistan 

(Reuters) - At least 24 people were killed in two separate bomb attacks in northwest Pakistan on Sunday, police said.

The attacks came after reported death of al Qaeda operative Ilyas Kashmiri in a U.S. drone missile strike in the ethnic Pashtun tribal region of South Waziristan on the Afghan border.

Militants vowed to take revenge of the killing.

A bomb exploded at a bakery in the cantonment area of Nowshera city, killing 18 people, police said.

"We have confirmed 18 dead," Turk Ali Shah, a police spokesman in Nowshera, told Reuters. He said 35 people were also wounded in the blast.

Zakaullah Khan, the city's top government official, said the death toll could rise as many wounded were in critical condition.

"It was a huge blast. It shattered the bakery and a restaurant nearby," he said.
Witnesses said a fire erupted in the bakery shop soon after the blast. "I saw several charred bodies laying on the ground and people were crying and shouting," Arif Nabi, a witness, said.

Hours earlier, another bomb blast at a bus stop on the outskirts of Peshawar, capital of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killed six people and wounded, police said.

Pakistan's Taliban militants, who have close ties to al Qaeda, have carried out a series of attacks to avenge the killing of Osama bin Laden by U.S. special forces...

New Al Qaeda Video: American Muslims Should Buy Guns, Start Shooting People 

In a new video message released on the internet Friday, American-born al Qaeda spokesman Adam Gadahn calls on Muslims living in America to carry out deadly one-man terrorist acts using fully automatic weapons purchased at gun shows, and to target major institutions and public figures.

"What are you waiting for?" asks Gadahn in English, and then adds that jihadis shouldn't worry about getting caught, since so many have been released. "Over these past few years, I've seen the release of many, many Mujahideen whom I had never even dreamed would regain their freedom."

The two-part, two hour video appeared on jihadi websites Friday with images of jihadi leaders as well as snapshots of alleged underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab and accused Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan. Both Hasan and Abdulmutallab are charged with carrying out attacks inside the U.S.

Called "Do Not Rely on Others, Take the Task Upon Yourself" and produced by al Qaeda's media arm, as Sahab, the tape mixes Gadahn's new message with clips from old videos of Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri and other al Qaeda leaders praising one-man attacks. They call on jihadis in the West to carry out lone wolf operations.

Gadahn sounds the same theme in his message, a series of soundbites interspersed throughout the video and accompanied by images of U.S. airliners, bombmaking and the logos of U.S. companies. "Muslims in the West have to remember that they are perfectly placed to play an important and decisive part in the Jihad against the Zionists and crusaders, and to do major damage to the enemies of Islam, waging war on their religion, sacred places, and things, and brethren," says Gadahn. "This is a golden opportunity and a blessing."

 

He urges Muslims to pursue attacks with whatever is available. "Let's take America as an example. America is absolutely awash with easily obtainable firearms. You can go down to a gun show at the local convention center and come away with a fully automatic assault rifle, without a background check, and most likely without having to show an identification card. So what are you waiting for?"

Gadahn suggests targeting major institutions -- after a clip showing the logos of such firms as Exxon, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America -- and "influential public figures." "Getting to these criminals isn't as hard as you might think," says Gadahn. "I mean we've seen how a woman knocked the Pope to the floor during Christmas mass, and how Italian leader Berlusconi's face was smashed during a public appearance. Christians in Pakistan demand a ban on the Qur'an...wait, what?

As the Qur'an tells Muslims "And when ye meet those who misbelieve then striking off heads until ye have massacred them, and bind fast the bonds!"(47-4).  Also read sura 3 verse 28 which tells Muslims to "Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming."

I would agree with Christians if they wanted to try and ban the Qur'an, it is a collection of hateful vitriol against non-Muslims which, when followed to the letter provides us with endless accounts of murder, rape, torture and general mayhem.  However, in this case it is Muslims, jihadists actually who are demanding that the Bible be banned beacuse it is "pornographic " and a "blasphemous book". 

Interesting irony, as Jesus is called a prophet in the Qur'an, but then is chastized for performing shirk, or the assignment of others as equals to Allah.  You just can't win with Islamic doctrine.

Pakistani Muslims demand a ban on the Bible

The Islamic party of Pakistan, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, has filed an appeal to the Supreme Court of Pakistan and launched a campaign asking to ban the circulation of the Bible, described as a "pornographic " and "blasphemous book".

This is a new attack against the Christian community in Pakistan, frightened by the attacks and threats suffered after the death of Bin Laden, already under attack due to the damaging effects of the blasphemy law, with the consequence of death penalty to those who insult the Koran or the Prophet Muhammad. The radical group Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, with its headquarters in Karachi, launched the campaign at a public conference.

According to the group's leader, Abdul Rauf Farooqi, some passages of the Bible describe characters that Muslims regard as prophets as being "vicious and immoral".
Unlike Muhammad, who as we all know was as peaceful as Ghandi, as benevolent as Pope John Paul II, as humanitarian as Mother Teresa and as loving as the Dali Lama.

 "It is a move that could fuel religious hatred against Christians. It is a threat to peaceful coexistence, an attack on the heart of our faith", says a bewildered Fr. Saleh Diego, who presides over the "Justice and Peace Commission" in the Archdiocese of Karachi. "As Christians we are already very weak and subject to pressures for the unjust blasphemy law. These radical groups want to delete us entirely. Sure, they are only minority groups, and we hope for the rise of voices of moderate Muslim leaders to stop this campaign of hatred...

Any minute now, moderate Muslim leaders will be pouring out of the woodwork to denounce the violence against Christians, and present a reform plan which will bring Islam in line with the rest of the world's great religions.

The man wept as he told how his beautiful, dark-eyed child died in a hospital cot with medical tubes snaking from his frail body as nurses fought unsuccessfully to save him. Sick with pneumonia, the two-year-old gave up the battle for life.

A rare tragedy, you might think, in  modern Britain, with all the advances of medical science.

But in the terraced streets of Bradford, Yorkshire, a child’s death is anything but rare. At the boy’s inquest, coroner Mark Hinchliffe said Hamza Rehman had died because his Pakistan-born parents (shopkeeper Abdul and housewife Rozina) are first cousins. Four years before, Hamza’s older sister, three-month-old Khadeja, had died of the same brain disorder which causes fits, sickness and chest infections. The couple had another baby born with equally devastating neurological problems.  

A heartbroken Mr Rehman told the inquest that he and his wife were unsure whether to have any more children. The coroner expressed deep sympathy before saying that Hamza’s death should serve as a warning to others.

He said: ‘This highlights a cultural and religious issue relating to first-cousin marriages and the potential risk to children that some medical experts say can result from such unions.’

The coroner chose his words carefully, since he was addressing one of the most controversial — and taboo — subjects in multi-cultural Britain: marriage between cousins in the Muslim communities which has left hundreds, if not thousands, of children damaged or dead.
I wonder what the stats are regarding first cousins marriages among Jews, or Christians, or Buddhists, or Druids, or Mennonites...
 This week, leading geneticist Professor Steve Jones, of University College London, warned that ‘inbreeding’ in Islamic communities was threatening the health of generations of children.

Careful, Dr. Jones.  You could be branded a "Islamophobe" for that remark.

Northern Sudan to UN demand to leave Abjei: what, are you kidding?

July 8 is the looming date for the separation of north and south Sudan.  Bashir of the Islamic north has been pushing his forces into the disputed soon-to-be border town of Abyei, displacing and murdering the locals in order to solidify power and create a FOB (forward operating base) from which he can launch more incursions.  The south has all the riches, the north has all that sand.  It is logical for Islam to look on the south as another non-Islamic stronghold to attack and conquer.

The UN is powerless, as Bashir is supported by the Arab League and the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) from which arms, logistics and support come.  We will see another Darfur in the near future, the West will wonder how this happened, and the world will yawn...again.

Northern Sudan dismisses U.N. call for troops to quit Abyei 

KHARTOUM (Reuters) - Khartoum on Saturday dismissed calls by the U.N. Security Council for it to withdraw its forces immediately from Abyei, the disputed region of divided Sudan they seized on May 21.

A senior official of the northern government in Khartoum said the dispute would be resolved only through north-south negotiations, not pressure from the council.

"This arrangement by government forces is a temporary arrangement. The only solution for the two parties is to find a solution different from referendum or to conduct the referendum," said Rabie Abdelati, an information ministry official and senior member of the ruling northern party.

"I don't see any justification for the United Nations Security Council to be involved."

South Sudan is scheduled to secede and become an independent country in about five weeks, and there has been no agreement on which state should control the fertile, oil-producing region of Abyei on the ill-defined border between them.

A referendum on whether it should be part of the north or south was marred by disputes over who should be allowed to vote. The region is used all year by Dinka Ngok people linked to the south and part of the year by northern Arab Misseriya nomads.

The security council condemned Khartoum's continued military control of Abyei in a unanimous statement, calling it a "serious violation" of north-south peace accords.

It expressed concern at an influx of Misseriya into Abyei town that "could force significant changes in the ethnic composition of the area."

The three requirements for non-Muslims: convert, pay the jizya or fight

I have pointed this out many times, without exception all scholars and Western experts on Islam have pointed this out, Islam itself points this out and Muslims themselves point this out.  Sura 9 verse 29 in the Qur'an says "Fight those who believe not in God and in the last day, and who forbid not what God and His Apostle have forbidden, and who do not practice the religion of truth from amongst those to whom the Book has been brought, until they pay the tribute by their hands and be as little ones."

There is no disagreement among Islamic scholars and clerics on the three fates of non-Muslims.  Convert, become a dhimmi or die.  I guess that makes Egyptian cleric Mazen Al-Sarsawi some kind of Islamophobe.

The above is a textbook example of the shakedown, or extortion as practiced to perfection by the mafia.  You need insurance to protect you from possible "accidents" that might occur.  But you have never had a problem before, what is there to be feared now?  The extortionist says  "us".  And we know there is not enough money to satisfy the bloodlust of Islam regarding the dhimmi and the jizya.

US wants nothing to do with racism conference

Durban III, the next round of anti-semitism and empty hate rhetoric will commence soon, without the US.  There is no reason to show up at an event where you and your friend are to be pilloried yet again.  I applaud the US for standing up to this obvious attempt to, once again demonize Israel, and by extension America.

US to boycott UN world racism conference 

THE Obama administration will boycott a world conference against racism being held at UN headquarters in September because of concerns about anti-Semitism.

The UN summit in September marks the 10-year commemoration of the 2001 World Conference Against Racism that was held in the South African city of Durban.
The US and Israel walked out of that meeting over a draft resolution that criticised Israel and equated Zionism with racism.

The United States will not participate in the upcoming conference because the Durban process "included ugly displays of intolerance and anti-Semitism", Joseph E. Macmanus, acting US assistant secretary of state for legislative affairs, wrote in a letter to Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand today.

Sen Gillibrand welcomed the administration's decision.

"It is an insult to America that the United Nations has decided to hold the Durban III conference in New York just days from the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks," the New York senator said.

Not a coincidence, Sen. Gillibrand, not in the least.

Library jihad in Minnesota

Nothing in the report suggests the woman was from Somalia, even as Minnesota has the largest concentration of Somali Muslims in the US.  I suspect she is, which makes this even more disturbing than it is.  Somali Muslims have been creating problems for years, recently being singled out as the group perpetuating the largest number of rapes in the Minneapolis/St Paul area.  Not to mention the 20 or so Muslim males who left Minnesota, went to Somalia for jihad training, then off to the battlefield to murder non-Muslims.

It's not the water in MN, it is Islamic hegemony rearing it's ugly head.

Police: Woman Stabs 2 Outside Bloomington Library

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) — Two people were stabbed in a seemingly random attack at a Twin Cities library.

After the incident Wednesday night at the Oxboro Library in Bloomington, 35-year-old Samira Abdalla Salim was arrested.

Salim was no stranger to the Oxboro Library. She had a reputation for handing out the Koran and talking religion outside the building.

“They had some issues with her harassing other patrons,” said Bloomington Police Commander Mark Stehlik.

But it’s what investigators say she did on Wednesday night that surprised everyone. 

“I never thought she would do that. She was very nice,” said Anisa Ahmed, Salim’s neighbor. 

Salim is accused of stabbing two people. The first victim was a woman who was walking into the library.

“The next thing she knew, she felt a sharp pain in the middle of her back and realized she had been stabbed,” said Stehlik.

The second was a security guard who heard the victim’s cry for help. He went to talk to Salim in the parking lot.

“Spoke to her briefly and then she actually stabbed him as well. Stabbed him in the abdomen,” said Stehlik.

Because Salim lived next door to the library, witnesses identified her right away and she was arrested in minutes.

“Nobody was worried about her committing a violent act,” said Stehlik.

Fourteen-year-old Ahmed lives next door to Salim and only knows a friendly lady
whose kids were friends with her sisters.

“She’d greet us every morning … and she’d get to know us,” said Ahmed.

Now the question everyone wants answered is why a woman who was not seen as a threat suddenly became violent.

Oh, I dunno, maybe it had something to do with the fact that she was preaching from the Qur'an.  Wait, I forgot, there's nothing in the Qur'an calling for the conversion, subjugation or death for non-Muslims.  What am I, some kind of Islamophobe?

“It’s unusual. Somebody minding their own business, walking into library, it doesn’t happen too often where they become victim of assault like this,” said Stehlik.

The victims had minor injuries. Police say they weren’t stabbed with a knife but a sharp, pointy object.
 

Anti-jihad cupcakes

Credit MI6 and the dry humor of the British.  When things are tough, the English lion will surprise and deliver results.  I wish I had been a fly on the wall when the creators of "Inspire" magazine, the publication for the jihadist, saw that instead of a receipe for making a bomb to kill infidels, they could make cupcakes.  I wonder if al-wlaki thought of the diabetic implications of such a weapon.

The cyber-warfare operation was launched by MI6 and GCHQ in an attempt to disrupt efforts by al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsular to recruit “lone-wolf” terrorists with a new English-language magazine, the Daily Telegraph understands.

When followers tried to download the 67-page colour magazine, instead of instructions about how to “Make a bomb in the Kitchen of your Mom” by “The AQ Chef” they were greeted with garbled computer code.

The code, which had been inserted into the original magazine by the British intelligence hackers, was actually a web page of recipes for “The Best Cupcakes in America” published by the Ellen DeGeneres chat show.

Wait for her to denounce the use of innocent cupcakes as a weapon against innocent Muslims.   

Written by Dulcy Israel and produced by Main Street Cupcakes in Hudson, Ohio, it said “the little cupcake is big again” adding: “Self-contained and satisfying, it summons memories of childhood even as it's updated for today’s sweet-toothed hipsters.”

It included a recipe for the Mojito Cupcake – “made of white rum cake and draped in vanilla buttercream”- and the Rocky Road Cupcake – “warning: sugar rush ahead!”

"The Obedient Wife Club" motto: "Obedient wife means...'They have to obey their husbands. That's the way Islam also asks.' "

Moderate Malaysia, a Muslim country where Islam is enshrined in their constitution and women are taught their place at an early age, is the breeding ground for such subjugated females.  Yes, many in Malaysia are not as strict as these women, but the lesson is that as Islam gets more mainstream, more and more women will buy into the obedient wife syndrome and little by little, sharia and Islamic doctrine creeps towards complete domination.

I am surprised that feminists and Islamic apologists have kept silent on this issue.  Didn't feminism preach that women are equal to men, and that there should never be a discerning line between the sexes?  Doesn't Islam teach tolerance and equality, especially towards women?  Would someone like to explain?

Maznah Taufik said "The Obedient Wife Club" being launched Saturday is aimed at drawing women who will be taught how to please their husbands better to prevent them from straying or misbehaving.

"We just want to ask all the wives to be obedient wives so that there will be fewer problems in our society," such as infidelity, divorce and domestic violence, she told AFP.

"Obedient wife means they are trying to entertain their husbands, not only taking care of their food and clothes," Maznah said. "They have to obey their husbands. That's the way Islam also asks."

Malaysia is a Muslim-majority country, with some 60 percent of the population practicing the religion, alongside large ethnic Chinese and Indian communities who are mostly Buddhist, Hindu and Christian.

According to local media, the country's divorce rate doubled from 2002 to 2009, with rates higher among Muslims than non-Muslims.

Maybe the higher numbers are a result of women accepting that Islam is not "equal-opportunity" when it comes to marriage(4-34, 4-3)

Maznah said it was also the men's responsibility to teach their wives to be obedient.

Sura 4 verse 34 tells a man he should beat his wife if she is disobedient. I guess that is one way to keep them in line and teach obedience, sort of like teaching a horse to be gentle by beating it.

"Some wives, they just want to get married for leisure but they don't know the responsibility," she said.

"To entertain their husbands is compulsory. If she doesn't do this, the husband will look for another woman... and the house will break down."

I think Freud would have a field day with this, as it appears to be completely based in sex.  Do what the man wants, whenever he wants, and however he wants it.  In Western countries, that behavior is called rape. We know how Islamic countries treat an accusation of rape, don't we?  Four witnesses, all male, must report they saw the rape in order for the woman to not be prosecuted for adultery.

I pity the women in this Obedient Wife club, they have been taken over by Islam and know not what they are perpetuating.

Confrontation in Germany

Thursday afternoon I spoke in Stuttgart, Germany at the invitation of the human rights group Pax Europa. The event was well advertised, and so the thuggish Leftist/Islamic supremacist alliance mobilized and was out in full force.

About 1000 Antifa protesters showed up, banging drums, holding signs with the usual accusations of racism and "Islamophobia," blowing whistles, and menacing people who came out for the Pax Europa event. There were also about 500 German police on hand in riot gear. The Pax Europa organizers told me, "This is all for you" -- because they had publicized that I would be there. One young man came up to me as I was standing right in front of a line of German police and said, "You're lucky there are so many police here today."

Pax Europa had planned a full program featuring Middle Eastern Christian musicians, a Coptic Christian activist, and others, so as to highlight the hollowness of the Islamic supremacist narrative of Muslim victimhood and anti-jihadist racism. But the police ordered the Pax Europa organizers to drastically reduce the scope of their event. Everyone was restricted to ten minutes only. Several participants opted not to appear, in light of the manifest danger. Antifa people were attacking supporters of Pax Europa. I saw several individuals being chased by rabid Leftist gangs. At least one man went to the hospital.

The police used loudspeakers to call on Antifa twice to disperse, as Pax Europa had lawfully reserved the space for their event. The Antifa people responded only by moving forward, chanting slogans, banging their drums, and holding aloft the usual Leftist kitsch -- Che Guevara, the hammer and sickle, the Palestinian flag, signs denouncing Islamophobia, etc. The police moved them back a bit but did not ask them again to disperse, and allowed the Pax Europa event to begin.

It was an incredible din. We had loudspeakers that appeared to be able to reach the considerable crowd behind the protesters, but the Antifa thugs did all they could to drown us out: the drums got louder, the vuvuzelas came out, they were blowing whistles, and of course they were screaming and yelling.

They started throwing things: bottles, eggs, excrement and more. One bottle narrowly missed the Coptic activist's head and crashed onto the stage -- other bottles crashed at our feet. Several speakers were hit with eggs. The manure they threw was all over the stage floor.

I stood right in front (they missed me; I dodged a few projectiles) and watched them as they screamed and gestured and threw things -- it was like looking into the pit of hell. Here were young people passionately committed to their cause and believing it to be that of justice and freedom, and they are eager and willing useful idiots for the most radically intolerant ideology on the planet. So when my turn came to speak, I addressed them, and told them just that. I told them they wouldn't like what happened to them when their friends took power, but by then it would be too late.

And it may be already, for Europe. But I was glad to be there yesterday, and to stand against what was so obviously a force for oppression, hatred, and evil.

70 "High Risk" jihadists to be released in Britain, and no one will be monitoring them

Yes there are those in England who see a big problem, and are sounding alarm bells.  No one in power, however sees fit to do anything about it.  The very real possibility of a backlash doesn't seem to be that big a concern, and that is the most troubling aspect of this article.

Public ‘at risk’ as 70 terrorists released 

UP to 70 convicted terrorists due to be released this year will not be properly monitored, a probation chief warned yesterday.

The "high risk" extremists, some of them bomb makers, could be walking the streets after being freed on licence.

But Harry Fletcher, assistant general secretary of the National Association of Probation Officers, said cuts to services meant adequate checks could not be kept on them.

A probation officer sees a problem, yet no one higher up gets the idea. I say make Harry the PM of England.

He added: "They have to be supervised by us and the police at a fairly intensive level.

"My fear is as cuts go deeper we're going to be unable to give them the close attention that we have hitherto. These men require maximum supervision and we're not going to be able to do it."

Among those set for release are Saajit Badat, jailed for 13 years in 2005 for plotting with shoe bomber Richard Reid. Also due to walk free is Moinul Abedin, jailed for 20 years in 2002 for making bomb detonators.

MPs said Government plans to water down control orders that allow dangerous individuals to be put under virtual house arrest will make the problem even worse.

A partnership of convenience based in Islamic doctrine.  If they cannot destroy Israel alone, they will double up and try with more manpower and weapons.  This is merely a reiteration of a continuing diatribe against the only democracy in the Middle East. 

But they don't mean it, we are told and they just want to get along and live in peace, on their own land.

'Fatah has never recognized Israel and will never do so'

Fatah has never recognized Israel’s right to exist and will never do so, according to Azzam al-Ahmed, a member of the Fatah Central Committee who is closely associated with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Ahmed, who is also head of the Fatah negotiating team with Hamas, said PA security forces in the West Bank were arresting Hamas supporters to protect them from being targeted by the IDF.

Ahmed’s remarks were made in an interview with the Egyptian newspaper Al-Masry Al- Youm.

Asked whether Fatah had spoken with Hamas about recognizing Israel, the senior Fatah official said, “Fatah has not recognized Israel. I challenge anyone who says that the case is otherwise, whether it’s Hamas or others. Neither Fatah nor Hamas is required to recognize Israel. Only governments and states extend recognition. It was the Palestinian government that recognized Israel, just as the Israeli government recognized us.”

Ahmed said the PLO had recognized Israel with the signing of the Oslo Accords.

“An organization recognized a state and a state recognized an organization,” he said.

“Now states should recognize each other when a Palestinian state is declared next September.”
What he is saying is that since the PLO, a recognized state, has recognized Israel, the fact that they (Fatah) still will not see Israel as a real state but are joining the PLO and Hamas to create a united front, and it does not matter that Fatah dismisses Israel, the PLO recognizes Israel and that is that.

Leader's Aide Underlines Islamic Identity of Regional Uprisings

TEHRAN (FNA)- A top aide to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said a close look at the demands and slogans chanted by protests in various regional countries proves that the recent uprisings in the region are Islamic in nature.

Supreme Leader's Advisor for International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati reiterated the Islamic identity and nature of the recent uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa, and said, "We need to pay attention to the protesters' slogans.

"The slogans that Gamal Abdel Nasser chanted during his rule and his allies in Syria, Libya, Sudan, Iraq and elsewhere were all Arabic slogans. However, now we are witnessing Islamic rather than Arabic ideals growing."

Velayati stressed that the regional uprisings have been inspired by the 1979 Islamic Revolution of Iran despite efforts by the West to prove the opposite.

Velayati underscored that Iran has been the "flag-bearer" of Islamic awakening.

"Americans have been trying to impose political and economic sanctions on Iran, but all of a sudden, their closest Arab ally (Egypt) announces it wants to establish relations with Iran, and after that allows Iranian warships to cross the Suez Canal," he said.

"These are not good signs for Americans. The White House had invested in Hosni Mubarak's regime for more than thirty years" but to no avail, he added.
It was a good 30-year run, though.

Iraqi refugees in Kentucky charged with planning to help arm Al Qaeda

 

Two Iraqi nationals who came to the US as refugees have been arrested in Kentucky on charges that they conspired to provide money, weapons, and other support to Al Qaeda in Iraq, federal officials announced on Tuesday.

Waad Ramadan Alwan and Muhamad Shareef Hammadi, both of Bowling Green, have entered not guilty pleas and are being held pending a pretrial detention hearing.
They were charged in a 23-count indictment returned last week.

 

Mr. Alwan is accused of conspiring to kill US nationals abroad, distributing information on the manufacture and use of improvised explosive devices in Iraq, and plotting to transfer Stinger missiles to Iraq.

Mr. Hammadi is charged with attempting to provide material support to Al Qaeda in Iraq, and conspiring to transfer Stinger missiles.

“Over the course of roughly eight years, Waad Ramadan Alwan allegedly supported
efforts to kill US troops in Iraq, first by participating in the construction and placement of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in Iraq, and, more recently, by attempting to ship money and weapons from the United States to insurgents in Iraq,” said Todd Hinnen, acting assistant attorney general for national security.

Both Alwan and Hammadi came to the US from Iraq in 2009.

The FBI began investigating Alwan five months after he arrived after being granted refugee status. A year later, in August 2010, the FBI began using a confidential human source who engaged in recorded conversations with Alwan.

The investigation of Hammadi began in January.

Alwan admitted in recorded conversations that from 2003 to 2006 he was an insurgent who used IEDs and sniper rifles to target US forces in Iraq...

The separation of the Sudan takes a dangerous twist

July 9 will mark the official beginning of North and South Sudan as separate countries.   July 9 is also the last day for UN peace-keeping troops to be in Sudan.  Those UN troops were the only bulwark against Islamic expansion via President Bashir of the then unified Sudan and his dreaded Janjaweed shock-jihadists.  Without the UN there, watch for immediate and aggressive attacks from Bashir and his jihadists.

We may, one day look on July 9 as the day Islam conquered another country in North Africa.

Sudan orders UN out of restive south

Juba - Sudan has ordered the official termination of the UN's north-south peacekeeping mission on July 9, the date the south will declare full independence, Khartoum’s official news agency said.

“Sudan has officially notified the United Nations of the end of the term of the United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) on July 9,” Suna said in a statement late on Saturday.

Violence in the contested border region of Abyei following the occupation on May 21 by Khartoum’s troops and tanks have raised fears the two sides could tip back into civil war.

Heavy fighting has forced thousands of people to flee southwards.

No reports of thousands fleeing northward yet.

Khartoum has received international condemnation for the taking of Abyei, saying that it violated the 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) signed between the two sides to end two decades of civil war.

Sudan's Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Karti sent a message to thank UN chief Ban Ki-moon, noting that Sudan has shown “the utmost cooperation, transparency and commitment” to the CPA, the deal that set up the UN force.

UNMIS includes over 10,000 people, most of whom are troops, as well as almost 500 military observers monitoring the peace agreement, and over 1,000 civilian staff.

Although UNMIS headquarters are in Khartoum, most staff are based in the south, which voted overwhelmingly to split from the north in a January referendum.

A separate joint UN-African Union force (UNAMID) operates in the north’s war-torn western Darfur region.

Egyptian police, during the revolution arrested many people, including a number of women.  To find out if these women were pious, the poliuce gace them "virginity tests" which, as you can imagine would be very invasive and highly embarrassing and humiliating.  These tests were done so that “'those not found to be virgins' would be charged with prostitution". 

Another wonderful example of the equality of Muslim women in an Islamic society.

Egyptian General Defends 'Virginity Checks' on Protesters

After previous denials by military officials, a senior Egyptian general has admitted to CNN that "virginity tests" were conducted on female demonstrators arrested in Tahrir Square.

During a March 9, nearly a month after Hosni Mubarak resigned, the Egyptian military targeted the demonstrators in Tahrir Square, arresting nearly 149 people. An Amnesty International report published weeks later claimed female demonstrators were beaten, given electric shocks, strip-searched, threatened with prostitution charges, and forced to submit to virginity checks.

Maj. Amr Imam said 17 women had been arrested but denied allegations of torture or "virginity tests." Now, a senior Egyptian general who asked not to be identified admits that "virginity checks" were performed, and his defense of the practice reveals a disturbingly bleak attitude towards women. "The girls who were detained were not like your daughter or mine," the general said. "These were girls who had camped out in tents with male protesters in Tahrir Square, and we found in the tents Molotov cocktails and (drugs)."

He then offered the bizarre rationale that the virginity checks were done so that the women would not later claim they had been raped by Egyptian authorities. "We didn't want them to say we had sexually assaulted or raped them, so we wanted to prove that they weren't virgins in the first place," the general said. "None of them were (virgins)."

He did not further explain this confounding logic.

67pc want Islamisation of society

LAHORE – As many as 67 per cent people of Pakistan want the government take steps for Islamisation, a clear indication that for whatever reasons they have lost faith in the existing system.

Because the old system was not Islamic enough, that is the reason.

According to a survey carried out by Gilani Research Foundation, 31 per cent people want the government take the required steps at once. However, 48 per cent think that the needed steps should be taken one by one. People approached for survey had been asked: “In your opinion should the government take steps to Islamise the society?”

These findings clearly mean that the claims made by various elements that Pakistan should be a secular state are totally baseless and contrary to the wishes of the people.This is a unique kind of survey carried out by an organization (Gallup Pakistan) in a society where more than 90 per cent people are Muslims, no matter which sect they belong to. That 31 per cent people want ‘immediate’ steps for Islamisation means that they are totally disappointed with the ability of the existing system to solve their problems and want to switch over to the Islamic system, for the sake of which the country had been created in 1947.According to the survey, 48 per cent people are for a gradual approach. In other words, they want the government to take the required steps one by one. Without any iota of doubt, these people also pin their hopes on the Islamic system, but want it introduced gradually, which, ostensibly, means that no hasty step should be taken which had the potential to backfire.Thirteen per cent of those approached for their opinions said there was no need for Islamization. Such people could be secularists, liberals or of the minority communities. Twenty per cent people, according to the survey, gave no response.
Their decision not to answer the question may mean that for them Islamization is not that important. Their silence could also be taken to mean that they are not concerned for what the government does, or doesn’t do, on this front.
