WE are Bad, we are Nationwide! (Sorry, ZZ Top)

This whole kerfluffle at LCC, and the ensuing removal of free speech rights and the caving in to Islamic supremacists via CAIR thuggishness is taking a life of it's own.  If we stand strong, we can and will defeat CAIR and bring a new insight to the nabobs at LCC.  Now the story is at Atlas Shrugs, and that is a great leap ahead in getting this story out to the masses.  Please see the story here at atlasshrugs.com

We are at another tipping point in whether America listens to the truth, or continues down the path to potential oblivion.  Each time something like this happens, how we react determines if we have taken one step forward or two steps back.  Let's never again look back because we failed to see forward.

God bless everyone.

"Removal of free speech rights"? You don't have any idea what "free speech rights" are, do you, Barry? (Hint: it doesn't include any onus on anybody else to provide you with a venue.)

You know, it's funny how you're all about rights all of a sudden. Seems like just yesterday you were perfectly comfortable with stripping them away from other unpopular people!

Did the Framers of the Constitution mean to extend the free exercise clause to religions that are inherently violent and totalitarian ?

“It is ridiculous for any one to profess himself to be a mahometan only in religion, but in every thing else a faithful subject to a christian magistrate, whilst at the same time he acknowledges himself bound to yield blind obedience to the mufti of Constantinople; who himself is entirely obedient to the Ottoman emperor, and frames the feigned oracles of that religion according to his pleasure”

I am a muslim and love John Locke, Ayn Rand, Voltaire, Hayek and Friedman. And, no, there is no conflict between me being Muslim and being an ardent libertarian and freedom lover. Oh, and yes, I do work with certain US government agencies to make this country (the US) stronger in ways you can't even comprehend --just judging from the shallow rhetoric of your blog here.

Anonymous,

I don't know about "inherently violent and totalitarian" religions, but they certainly meant to extend guarantee those freedoms to Christians and Muslims alike. See, we can tell, because that's what they did.

Also, John Locke wasn't a framer of the Constitution. Nice try, though.

Islam is not a religion by anything Americans believe one to be. In fact, Islam is the antithesis of what we deem to be religious. The hallmark of a cult is a penalty for leaving, Islam imposes the ultimate penalty, death…

For the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.'
