Iran burns the Bible, Christians do not riot and maim

It is interesting how, in the US, when a Qur'an is under threat of being torched the President gets involved, admonishing the burner not to light the match, as it would insult Muslims and they may get upset and try to kill a few people.  When Iran does it, not once but twice this year there is not a peep from Obama on how horrible it is, and that Christians will be insulted, but instead silence.

Iran burns Bibles, OK.  Burn a Qur'an in the US (or Europe) and you are branded a Islamophobe and anti-Muslim.

And the band plays on....

Originally published in March of this year, this story hit the news services back then and died.  No one reported it.  Even I did not see this article until recently.  Now I am posting it, so you can see how the MSM does not tell you everything you need to know.  But we knew that, didn't we?

From Mohabat News March 14

Once again, the Islamic Republic of Iran burned New Testaments!

The office of Contraband Search and Seizure along with the revolutionary guards, in a routine border inspection of a bus, discovered 2 boxes, each containing 300 New Testaments, and after removing those from the bus burned them.

According to the report prepared by the Iranian Christian News Agency " Mohabat News"  reporters, on Tuesday February 7, 2011, in coordinated operation between the Office of Contraband Search and Seizure and the Revolutionary Guards of the city of Salmas, in the Northwest province of Western Azerbaijan, discovered more than 300 New Testaments along with other contrabands such as alcoholic spirits, which were previously discovered and seized and in a special public viewing in the town of Derishk, burned all of the New Testaments and the seized alcohol.

Derishk is a small village bordering Turkey and is about 15 km from the town of Salmas.

According to this report, Mr. Ali Akbar Aghaee, the parliamentary member of the town of Salmas, claimed that the importation of such contraband merchandise indicate the weakness of the border guards and asked the security forces to be more alert and vigilant in these matters.

In a previous report published by "Mohabat News", on October 28, 2010, a similar search and seizure of about 300 New Testaments had taken by the security and border inspectors in a bus headed for Tehran at the border crossing of Salmas, 90 km from the capital of the western province of Western Azerbaijan.

At the time of this seizure, 2 boxed containing more than 300 New Testaments were placed in the bus, but there were no passengers to claim ownership of the confiscated boxes. The security forces did however conduct a local search of a home of a New Christian man who resided on the town of Salmas.

This shameful act of burning the Christian New Testaments was a repetition of a similar action taken by the security forces of the Islamic Republic, on June 8, 2010, in one of the western towns of Sardasht, which was reported on the media outlets loyal and in service of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In connection with this incident, the official website of the Revolutionary Guards of the Islamic Republic of Iran accused the United States, who is currently occupying the neighboring territory of Iraq, of playing a major role in this matter and is conspiring to illegally import the Christian New Testaments inside Iran.

Confronting Christianity

The Security forces of Iran are trying to justify these shameful actions by using deceptive and divertive terms such as "Apostate Gospels and Old Testament", but it is clearly evident to everyone that such insult to the integrity of the Christian Scriptures is nothing more than the continuation of the previously designed and prioritized strategy of the government to confront and oppose the growth of Christianity inside Iran.

The rapid growth of the Christian faith in Iran has somewhat threatened and created tremendous fear in the hearts of the leader of the Islamic regime that has accelerated the ugly policy of suppressing Christianity especially in the last one year. After Ali Khameniei's speech regarding the necessity of fighting and silencing the home-based churches we have witness the brutal and inhumane crackdown and arrests of many Christian Iranians inside Iran. And now, we continue to witness the shameful and disgusting actions of the Khamienie's followers who in utter disregard and disrespect of the sacred Scriptures of more than 2 billion Christians around the world and the burning of them with much rudeness.

Hello to all DHS agents, welcome to Islam Today Oregon!

The DHS is now monitoring anti-jihad blogs and websites, ostensibly to gather a data base to use in the future for....?

There is a list of those the DHS is watching, this blog is not on the list, but I would imagine we will be monitored as this site is linked to a lot of other like-minded sites and blogs, so eventually the DHS will get around to snooping around here.  I have a suggestion for the agents doing the looking; stay a while, have a cup of coffee and read.  Read as much as you can, maybe you will learn something outside of the inculcated propaganda pumped into you by the DHS and our administration.

Welcome DHS agents, enjoy your stay and if there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to contact me here at  act4americaor@yahoo.com

DHS Creates Accounts Solely to Monitor Social Networks

An online privacy group is suing the U.S. Department of Homeland Security accusing it of not releasing records from the agency's covert surveillance of Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites.

The DHS creates accounts solely to monitor social media sites and establish a system of records of the information gathered. The agency does not post information, seek to connect with other users, accept invitations to connect or interact with others according to a statement on their website.

The agency scans social media sites for a list of words that include "dirty bomb," "hostage," "exercise," "task force," "explosion," "lockdown," "riot," "nuclear threat," "brown out," "meth lab," "cain and abel" and "brute forcing."
Several countries and cities, including North Korea and Mexico, are also flagged as key words.

In a statement, the DHS said that the National Operations Center (NOC) "will gather, store, analyze, and disseminate relevant and appropriate de-identified information to federal, state, local, and foreign governments, and private sector partners authorized to receive situational awareness and a common operating picture," said the statement.

In April 2011, the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) requested records from the DHS of the agency's social network monitoring program. The agency has an obligation to locate the records and notify the requestor if the records are available for release.

Marc Rotenberg, EPIC's executive director, told ABC News that the requests have gone unanswered.
On Dec. 20, EPIC filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the DHS.

"We want to know how they're collecting information online, what they're collecting online and if there's legal basis to do this," Rotenberg told ABC News.

"We are trying to understand what the circumstances are when the DHS is engaged in tracking to social media sites," Rotenberg added.

The DHS declined to comment on the issue.

Tajikistan; Santa murdered

Shouting "infidel" the religious fanatics (those pesky Mennonites, no doubt) struck down venerable St. Nick.  There is nothing sacred to Islam except for Islam itself.  No Western traditions are allowed to tarnish the gleaming patina of tolerance that is Islam.

From News.am January 2

Santa killed by Muslim fanatics for being ‘infidel’ in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE. – An outrageous incident occurred in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, where a group of religious fanatics killed Santa Claus.

Parvis Davlatbekov wore as Santa Claus to congratulate his friends for the New Year. However, a group of fanatics attacked and stabbed him by crying ‘infidel’ in the street.

The young man died on Monday without coming into consciousness. The unprecedented tragic incident is widely discussed in Facebook, ITARR-TASS reports.

Tajikistani MFA acknowledged officially the incident. However, it rejected that the brutal killing occurred on religious grounds but claims it was a regular violence.

Meantime, local media calls to pay attention to the discussions whether it is right to celebrate the New Year in a state where 98 % of population is Muslims.

Obviously it is not.

The caliphate is coming, the caliphate is coming!

2024 is when we can expect the new Islamic caliphate to rise, led by the new caliph, King Abdullah of Jordan.  So says Salafi cleric Sheik Yassin Al-'Ajlouni in Jordan.  I guess it would have been in poor taste to have named anyone outside of Jordan.

From MEMRI December 13

Jordanian Salafi Cleric Sheik Yassin Al-'Ajlouni: The Caliphate Will Be Reestablished in 2024 by the Son of Jordanian King Abdullah

Following are excerpts from a statement Jordanian Salafi cleric Sheik Yassin Al-'Ajlouni, which was posed on the Internet on December 13, 2011:
Yassin Al-'Ajlouni: I bring glad tidings to the Islamic nation: The days of the establishment of the Caliphate are near – the Caliphate that will reside in Jerusalem, and the Caliph who will conquer Palestine. "So when the second warning came to pass, we permitted your enemies to disfigure your faces, and to enter your Temple, as they had entered it before, and to destroy all that fell into their power." This is the Caliph to whom allegiance will be pledged in Palestine, after he conquers the Arab Peninsula and Persia.
I think – although Allah knows best – that the [Caliph] is among us. We see him with our own eyes. He is Abdullah, who reigns over Jordan at present. The man will be guided by Allah to this great conquest, and Allah willing, in 1446 AH [2024 CE], we will witness the rebuilding of the Al-Aqsa of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the most beautiful manner.
The armies that will conquer Palestine will all agree to have Abdullah as their Caliph. This will be a Hashemite Caliphate, but not the way we want it – it will not be in keeping with the path of the Prophet. Such a Caliphate will be established, Allah willing, by Muhammad, whom we believe to be the son of Abdullah II, the current king of Jordan – but Allah knows best.
Allah willing, I will fill you in with more details on this matter.

Afghanistan: attempted rape of daughter-in-law results in a Lorena Bobbitt moment

Yes, she did.  Doctors have not reported if the offending appendage was re-attached.

Afghan woman cuts off father-in-law's private part

An Afghan woman cut off her father-in-law's penis with a knife after he tried to have sex with her, a doctor in eastern Afghanistan's Ghazni province said on Saturday.
"One day when the husband was away from home he attempted to have sex with his daughter-in-law and she cut off his penis with a knife," the doctor from a private hospital in Ghazni said on condition of anonymity.
The man went for treatment at the private hospital but was sent on to the capital Kabul for specialist treatment, he added. The incident took place two weeks ago but has only just come to light.
According to figures in an Oxfam report in October, 87 per cent of Afghan women report having experienced physical, sexual or psychological violence or forced marriage.
And 91% of all honor murders are committed by Muslims against their own.

New Years bombing in Kenya; five murdered

A hell of a way to ring in the new year.

Five dead in Kenya New Year blast

It marked the latest in a series of such attacks since Nairobi sent troops into Somalia to fight the Islamist Shebab.
"There was an explosion in a club in town shortly before midnight (Saturday) and five people died," a senior police officer at Northeast provincial headquarters told AFP.
"After the explosion in the club there was shooting outside and people were running all over. It appears they targeted New Year celebrations," the officer added, asking not to be named.
Regional police chief Leo Nyongesa told AFP: "We are investigating. We are looking for the attackers."
Residents voiced fears that the attackers might have been Somali Shebab insurgents or their sympathisers, intent on creating a divide between Christians and Muslims in the region.
Peter Mwathis, a guard who was wounded in the attack in the garrison town, described the assailants as four men dressed in military uniform.
"I was confronted by a man in full Kenyan army uniform who asked me to open the gate. When I saw he was holding a grenade I ran into the bushes," he told AFP from his hospital bed.
"Then I heard a big blast and the place was sprayed with bullets. I thought I had escaped but later on I felt a sharp pain in my chest and realised that it was a bullet wound.
"I heard people cry loudly as more bullets rent the air targeting those fleeing from the bar," he added.
Mohamed Abdikadir, the provincial director of public health, said a total of 21 people injured in the blast are being treated at Garissa hospital; two are them are in critical condition while the rest are out of danger.
There were unconfirmed reports of two police officers among the dead, one who was shot at the entry to the bar and the other who was hit in a taxi a short distance away.

Hamas rounds up fortune tellers; they should have seen it comingg

Hamas, in it's continuing efforts to be all things to all people but to appear to not be, has now banned fortune tellers, store mannequins and tobacco vendors.  Soon there will be no more posed, smoking haruspex in Gaza.

Miss Cleo, where are you?

Hamas cracks down on fortune-tellers, mannequins

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The Hamas-run government has launched a series of campaigns targeting fortune-tellers, mannequins and cigarette vendors in the Gaza Strip.

Police sources told Ma'an that 142 fortune tellers were forced to sign an agreement at the Ministry of Interior pledging that they would not practice their craft.

As well as predicting the future, fortune tellers sell amulets for protection and are sometimes called on to solve personal or family problems.

That's what sharia courts are for.

Another campaign targets boutiques displaying lingerie on mannequins. Police officials told Ma'an that security forces inspected clothes shops across the Gaza Strip and warned owners not to display naked mannequins, lingerie or "indecent advertisements."

Police are also targeting vendors selling smuggled cigarettes and tobacco, confiscating their goods, police suorces said.

A new year, and the denial and persecution continues unabated

In Jerusalem, next to the Temple Mount, Israeli archaeologists found a small clay seal, used by the ancient Jews to seal jars of oil.  This is not unusual in and of itself, relics are routinely pulled from the ground in Israel, and many other places which allow that type of excavation and exploration.  The problem is that each discovery chips a little more off the false veneer of Arab/Palestinian history.  It is a small artifact, but powerful in that it is another piece of the puzzle of that which is Jewish history in the land of Jesus.

This tiny piece of Jewish history keeps the memory of ancient Jews alive, and also the hatred against Jews in the form of continued anti-semitism by Arabs, Muslims and, ultimately Islamic doctrine.

From FOXNews December 30 by Rabbi Abraham Cooper

Beyond Christmas and Hannukah -- Who Will Protect the Faithful?

This year’s overlap of Christmas and Chanukah brought startlingly different, but ultimately connected, developments overseas. In Nigeria, word of five suicide bombs by an extremist Muslim sect murdering and maiming Christians at prayer, and wiping out whole families, cast a pall on many of the faithful. Meanwhile, archaeologists working in Ir David—the ancient neighborhood adjacent to Jerusalem’s Old City Temple Mount/Dome of the Rock, announced a discovery validating the historicity of a heritage central to Jews but also important to Christians.

Bearing two Aramaic words meaning “pure for G-d,” a rare, coin-sized clay seal was found not far from the site of the Beit Hamikdash – Holy Temple where Judaism’s holiest rituals were practiced until it was destroyed by the Romans two thousand years ago.

The seal of ritual certification was similar to the seal on a jar of untainted oil that the Maccabees--heroes of the Hanukah story--were so desperately looking for when they secured the Holy Temple from the occupying Greeks. Such seals were likely in use when Jewish pilgrims came to visit the Holy Temple. Such discoveries deepen the connection to the past for today’s religious pilgrims to Jerusalem, Christians as well as Jews.

For Jewish families, the seal’s discovery also serves as another concrete confirmation of Judaism’s near-miraculous continuity and of our people’s millennial-old link to David’s City.

Unfortunately, Palestinians loathe such discoveries. Because the seal with the words, “pure for G-d”, also debunk the lies of a global campaign of religious-and-historical Denial spawned by the Palestinian leadership. Simply put, the Palestinians insist that today’s Jews and have no authentic connection to the Holy Land dating back to the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, or to the biblical Prophets and Kings of Israel.

Indeed, the serial denial of the Jewish people’s legitimacy is the one core issue that Palestinian President Mohammed Abbas and the Muslim Fundamentalist Hamas can agree upon.
Even as Abbas steps up his efforts to merge his Fatah Movement with the Muslim Fundamentalist Hamas—whose founding Charter fuses traditional religious anti-Semitism with the secular, genocidal Jew hatred of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion—Abbas’ Palestinian Authority has accelerated its broader campaign to expunge Jewish history and identity from the Holy Land.

Leveraging the voting muscle of Arab and Muslim states at the UN, a committee of the United Nations’ Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), recast as a mosque, the iconic Rachel’s Tomb near Bethlehem—recognized by Christians as well as Muslim for centuries as a venerable Jewish site.

The Palestinians’ historical amnesia about Jewish roots also extends to archaeological evidence of King David and King Solomon’s ties to Holy City. This is a radical break from the Islamic past when Muslim recognition of the Jews’ sacred connection to Jerusalem and its holy sites was traced back to the Caliph Omar in the seventh century and extended all the way up to 1953 when the Supreme Muslim Council’s guide to Al-Haram Al- Sharif (The Temple Mount) declared: “It’s identity with the site of Solomon’s Temple is beyond dispute.”

In his ‘historic’ speech before the U.N. General Assembly seeking international recognition for a unilaterally declared Palestinian State, used the world stage to invoke the ‘Holy Land’ as the place from where the prophet Mohammed ascended to heaven and where Jesus was born, but pointedly omitted any reference to Abraham, Moses, King David or Jeremiah. Not a hint of censure from the diplomats representing 192 nations.

Hand-in-hand with the historic amnesia, is the Palestinian Authority promotion of classic anti-Semitism. Evidence the recent article, published in the UNESCO-funded Palestinian youth magazine, Zayzafouna. In it, a ten-year-old Palestinian girl is purported to have had adream in which Hitler told her, “Yes. I killed them [the Jews] so you would all know that they are a nation who spreads destruction all over the world.” Brought to international attention by Palestinian Media Watch, nothing was done about the article until a protest by the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the United States ambassador, forced UNESCO to end its funding of the magazine. But the hatred remains— fuelled by a mixture of hateful secular and religious ideologies.

As events in 2011 proved, the international community’s silence over campaigns of religion-inspired hatred, won’t bring peace to Jews and Arabs in the Holy Land, or restore Christmas as a public holiday in Gaza, nor protect Copts in Egypt, Catholics in Nigeria, or Christians in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Silence only fuels the spread of more toxic bigotry in the name of G-d.

We can only hope and pray that in 2012, democratic governments, international agencies and NGOs will finally find the step up and construct a firewall of truth and civility to protect the faithful and their right to a future.

Leader of Hezbollah worth 250M, yet Hezbollah is broke

I wonder where Nasrallah has been getting his paychecks from?  Could it be he is directly profiting from the laundered drug money funneled through used car dealers?  It is interesting that the loudest voice for the refugees plight would be among the financial elite.  250 Million can buy a lot of peace and stability, and you would think Nasrallah would walk the walk and spend his "fortune" on the needy.  After all, even Al Capone set up soup kitchens and bread lines.

From YNet December 29 by Doron Peskin

Hezbollah's Nasrallah worth $250M?

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah is worth some $250 million, a Kuwaiti newspaper reported recently, quoting American intelligence officials.

According to the report, the fortune of Nasrallah's deputy, Sheikh Naim Qassem, and other senior organization members amounts to as much as $2 billion.

The anonymous intelligence sources believe the funds have been deposited in hundreds of bank accounts across the world, including in Europe, using fabricated or fake names.

Two Western sources are quoted as saying that the Hezbollah leaders from time to time channel millions of dollars from their bank accounts or their wives' bank accounts to senior members of the Revolutionary Guards in Iran, who are responsible for transferring money to the Shiite organization from the office of Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to the report, Iranian parliament members are aware of this corruption, are unhappy with it but are avoiding discussing it.

Straw companies

A British security source who worked at the embassies in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon in the 1990s is quoted as saying that the West has figured out Hezbollah's money laundering method.

According to the source, the Shiite organization's common method is setting up straw companies in Arab or African countries, which sell cars or large amounts of goods.

Feeding the alligator again

The Obama administration, in it's headlong plunge towards oblivion, is seriously pondering the transfer to Afghan custody a prominent Taliban member, as a show of good faith, in the continuing attempt to try and "negotiate" a peace with them.

Our government is calling this attempt a "long shot" which implies we are just about at our wits end.  Misplaced ideals, wrong choices and following blindly the ideology of multiculturalism got us here, you can bet we will not learn from this waste of time and effort and do something equally inept again soon.

And the alligator will continue to be hungry.

From Reuters/Yahoo December 29 by  Mark Hosenball, Missy Ryan and Warren Strobel

U.S. mulls transfer of Taliban prisoner in perilous peace bid
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Obama administration is considering transferring to Afghan custody a senior Taliban official suspected of major human rights abuses as part of a long-shot bid to improve the prospects of a peace deal in Afghanistan, Reuters has learned.
The potential hand-over of Mohammed Fazl, a 'high-risk detainee' held at the Guantanamo Bay military prison since early 2002, has set off alarms on Capitol Hill and among some U.S. intelligence officials.
As a senior commander of the Taliban army, Fazl is alleged to be responsible for the killing of thousands of Afghanistan's minority Shi'ite Muslims between 1998 and 2001.
According to U.S. military documents made public by WikiLeaks, he was also on the scene of a November 2001 prison riot that killed CIA operative Johnny Micheal Spann, the first American who died in combat in the Afghan war. There is no evidence, however, that Fazl played any direct role in Spann's death.
Senior U.S. officials have said their 10-month-long effort to set up substantive negotiations between the weak government of Afghan President Hamid Karzai and the Taliban has reached a make-or-break moment. Reuters reported earlier this month that they are proposing an exchange of "confidence-building measures," including the transfer of five detainees from Guantanamo and the establishment of a Taliban office outside of Afghanistan.
You know, it will feel really good when you stop hitting yourself in the head with that 2X4.
Now Reuters has learned from U.S. government sources the identity of one of the five detainees in question.
The detainees, the officials emphasized, would not be set free, but remain in some sort of further custody. It is unclear precisely what conditions they would be held under.
In response to inquiries by Reuters, a senior administration official said that the release of Fazl and four other Taliban members had been requested by the Afghan government and Taliban representatives as far back as 2005.
The debate surrounding the White House's consideration of high-profile prisoners such as Fazl illustrates the delicate course it must tread both at home and abroad as it seeks to move the nascent peace process ahead.
One U.S. intelligence official said there had been intense bipartisan opposition in Congress to the proposed transfer.
"I can tell you that the hair on the back of my neck went up when they walked in with this a month ago, and there's been very, very strong letters fired off to the administration," the official said on condition of anonymity.
With the appropriate amount of finger-wagging, I am sure.

Saudi Arabia: no women on women selling

It is a crime for women to sell women's stuff to women.  So says Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Sheikh.

Saudi Mufti Says Women Selling Female Accessories Is Crime:Hayat

Employing women in shops selling female accessories is a crime and disrespectful, Al-Hayat reported, citing Saudi Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Sheikh.
Al-Sheikh’s remarks came at a sermon yesterday at a mosque in Riyadh, the newspaper reported.
Saudi Arabia’s Labor Ministry issued a directive in July demanding that lingerie and cosmetics stores replace salesmen with women.

"I have no intention to live here in the Middle East all my life and I am exploring all options to escape...I would like to focus on the main issue here, that is exposing Islam and to explicate my apostasy in detail."

Happy New Year

I think in my last post I had forgotten to mention a few names, and some of them probably got offended, so here is a big thank to Trying to Follow Jesus, Kafir ibn al Shaitan, Anon, Dovecoder, bhigr, Ronald B, Bu Larue and Hesperado.  Please keep on reading my blog and comment on it, your support means a lot.

It is so easy to judge others, isn’t it? Has anyone ever tried to picture themselves in my shoes and think what I am going through? I guess the only person here who can empathize with me is Talitha, because she too is an ex -Muslim and comes from a similar family background.

I think you guys need to go back and read my posts again. I have mentioned it pretty clearly that I am a very new apostate, just been over two months now when I actually gave up Islam, and you guys expect me to pack my bags and escape to the United States or Canada or whichever country offers me asylum? Do you think it is that easy to wind up your 25 years of life living in the same country in just 2 months? To give up my job where I have been working for 11 years in a blink of an eye? To go to my bank and tell them I won’t be able to pay the interest free loan that they have given me to buy my car and that they can probably take the car and sell it themselves? I cannot just wake up one morning and run away from my existence. It needs proper planning and execution and it will happen at the right time, but for the time being, I am happy being just what I am – A closeted Apostate.

What about when I land in America or Canada? What then? Where will I live? Where will I work? Who will help me in getting a job and a legal status? There are far too many illegal immigrants in those countries as it is, and there is no way I am going to add one more to the list.

Besides that, what will I tell my family? Besides my parents, brothers and sister, I have a huge extended family, including grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins. I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews who love me to bits. Can I live with the fact that my brothers and sister would tell them that their favorite aunty is dead to them? That would be so devastating for me and even for them. I do not want to lose my family, and that is why I can never come out in the open with my apostasy.

Palestinian flag and lies raised at UNESCO

Said Palestinian ambassador to India Adli Sedaq in his remarks at the flag-raising, "Palestine and its people are mentioned more than 250 times(in the Bible)"

This is a lie.

I challenge Sedaq to show anywhere in the Bible where Palestine is mentioned.  This statement is pure historical revisionism, as bad and misleading as anything said by Mark Weber or Ernst Zundel.  It is also an example of the continuing demonization of Jews and Israel through the re-creating of history based in hatred  through Islamic doctrine.

The "Palestinians" are a created people, their history is that of being Arab, not the persecuted and oppressed refugees, demanding of all the sympathy a victim usually receives.

I also challenge anyone to prove the "Palestinians" are a real people.  Show archaeological evidence, ancient money, government papers, administration archives for cities, written records of any kind, ruins, inventions or ancient literature...how about a famous old world Palestinian novelist or poet, maybe a cemetery or center of commerce/agriculture.  There is no evidence, there is nothing to show the "Palestinain" people exist, except for the historical records from the late 1800s when Jewish emigration began in that area.

Buying into the lies and ignoring historical fact has led us to this day, and if we continue to deny the truth, our tenuous hold on peace will dissolve soon enough.  It will be the refugees who will suffer the most, and at the end of the day no one will be able to sooth over the wounds created by the continued support of a historical lie.

PA ambassador to India: “Palestine and its people are mentioned more than 250 times” in the Bible

Headline: "India: Ceremony of solidarity marking the raising of the Palestinian flag at UNESCO headquarters"
"Palestinian ambassador to India, Adli Sadeq, explained the negative ramifications of the position of Israel and America, which are furious over the raising of the Palestinian flag at UNESCO…

The ambassador spoke about the statements by the candidate in the American Republican Party primaries, Newt Gingrich, against our people, in describing this people as 'invented'. He [Sadeq] said that this ignoring of the existence of the Palestinian people and its rights reflects logic which mocks intelligence, culture, and the Bible itself, in which Palestine and its people are mentioned more than 250 times."

On the other side of the coin there is this.  Historical re-writing must be countered with historically accurate reflections.  Here is just one of many that completely disputes the "Palestinian" claim.

From Myths and Facts January 1

There is No Age-Old Palestinian People. Most So-Called Palestinians are Relative Newcomers to The Land of Israel
Palestinian Arabs cast themselves as a native people in “Palestine” – like the Aborigines in Australia or Native Americans in America. They portray the Jews as European imperialists and colonizers. This is simply untrue.
Until the Jews began returning to the Land of Israel in increasing numbers from the late 19th century to the turn of the 20th, the area called Palestine was a God-forsaken backwash that belonged to the Ottoman Empire, based in Turkey.
The land’s fragile ecology had been laid waste in the wake of the Arabs’ 7th-century conquest. In 1799, the population was at it lowest and estimated to be no more than 250,000 to 300,000 inhabitants in all the land.2

At the turn of the 20th century, the Arab population west of the Jordan River (today, Israel and the West Bank) was about half a million inhabitants and east of the Jordan River perhaps 200,000.3
The collapse of the agricultural system with the influx of nomadic tribes after the Arab conquest that created malarial swamps and denuded the ancient terrace system eroding the soil, was coupled by a tyrannous regime, a crippling tax system and absentee landowners that further decimated the population. Much of the indigenous population had long since migrated or disappeared. Very few Jews or Arabs lived in the region before the arrival of the first Zionists in the 1880s and most of those that did lived in abject poverty.
Most Arabs living west of the Jordan River in Israel, the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and Gaza are newcomers who came from surrounding Arab lands after the turn of the 20th century because they were attracted to the relative economic prosperity brought about by the Zionist Movement and the British in the 1920s and 1930s.4
This is substantiated by eyewitness reports of a deserted country – including 18th-century reports from the British archaeologist Thomas Shaw, French author and historian Count Constantine Volney (Travels through Syria and Egypt, 1798); the mid-19th-century writings of Alphonse de Lamartine (Recollections of the East, 1835); Mark Twain(Innocents Abroad, 1867); and reports from the British Consul in Jerusalem (1857) that were sent back to London.5
The Ottoman Turks’ census (1882) recorded only 141,000 Muslims in the Land of Israel. The real number is probably closer to 350,000 to 425,000, since many hid to avoid taxes. The British census in 1922 reported 650,000 Muslims.

Aerial photographs taken by German aviators during World War I show an underdeveloped country composed mainly of primitive hamlets.6 Ashdod, for instance, was a cluster of mud dwellings, Haifa a fishing village. In 1934 alone, 30,000 Syrian Arabs from the Hauran moved across the northern frontier into Mandate Palestine, attracted by work in and around the newly built British port7 and the construction of other infrastructure projects. They even dubbed HaifaUm el-Amal (‘the city of work’).
The fallacy of Arab claims that most Palestinians were indigenous to Palestine – not newcomers - is also bolstered by a 1909 vintage photograph of Nablus, today an Arab city on the West Bank with over 121,000 residents. Based on the number of buildings in the photo taken from the base of Mount Gerizim, the population in 1909 – Muslim Arabs and Jewish Samaritans – could not have been greater than 2,000 residents.8
Family names of many Palestinians attest to their non-Palestinian origins. Just as Jews bear names like Berliner, Warsaw and Toledano, modern phone books in the Territories are filled with families named Elmisri (Egyptian), Chalabi (Syrian), Mugrabi (North Africa). Even George Habash – the arch-terrorist and head of Black September – bears a name with origins in Abyssinia or Ethiopia, Habash in both Arabic and Hebrew.
Palestinian Nationality is an Entity Defined by its Opposition to Zionism, and not its National Aspirations

What unites Palestinians has been their opposition to Jewish nationalism and the desire to stamp it out, not aspirations for their own state. Local patriotic feelings are generated only when a non-Islamic entity takes charge – such as Israel did after the 1967 Six-Day War. It dissipates under Arab rule, no matter how distant or despotic.

A Palestinian identity did not exist until an opposing force created it – primarily anti-Zionism. Opposition to a non-Muslim nationalism on what local Arabs, and the entire Arab world, view as their own turf, was the only expression of ‘Palestinian peoplehood.’
The Grand Mufti Hajj Amin al-Husseini, a charismatic religious leader and radical anti-Zionist was the moving force behind opposition to Jewish immigration in the 1920s and 1930s. The two-pronged approach of the “Diplomacy of Rejection” (of Zionism) and the violence the Mufti incited occurred at the same time Lebanon, Syria, Transjordan and Iraq became countries in the post-Ottoman reshuffling of territories established by the British and the French under the League of Nation’s mandate system.
The tiny educated class among the Arabs of Palestine was more politically aware than the rest of Arab society, with the inklings of a separate national identity. However, for decades, the primary frame of reference for most local Arabs was the clan or tribe, religion and sect, and village of origin. If Arabs in Palestine defined themselves politically, it was as “southern Syrians.”

No recognition of Israel, says Muslim Brotherhood

Even as the Muslim Brotherhood sends Christmas wishes to Christians, it is the Jews who always bear the brunt of hatred from Arabs and Islam.  As a "moderate" political force in Egypt, the Obama administration is trying to work with them to achieve some kind of peace, yet when the MB tells the world they want the treaty with Israel torn up, one has to wonder; just how blind are those who want peace at any cost?

Muslim Brotherhood vows not to recognize Israel

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood will not recognize Israel "under any circumstance," the party's deputy leader Dr Rashad Bayoumi told Arabic daily al-Hayat in an interview publish Sunday.

In recent Egyptian elections the party list led by the Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) won 36.3 percent of the list vote, while the ultra-conservative Salafi al-Nour Party took 28.8%.

65.1% of the votes is a clear majority.  Look for sharia to appear very soon.

When asked whether it is a requirement for the government in Egypt to recognize Israel, Bayoumi responded by saying: "This is not an option, whatever the circumstances, we do not recognize Israel at all. Its [Israel] an occupying criminal enemy."

Projection.

The deputy leader stressed during the interview that no Muslim Brotherhood members would ever meet with Israelis for negotiations. "I will not allow myself to sit down with criminals."

Bayoumi went on to say that The Muslim Brotherhood would take legal procedures towards cancelling the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel that was signed in 1979. "The Brotherhood respects international conventions, but we will take legal action against the peace treaty with the Zionist entity," he told the paper

At the beginning of December, Egypt's two leading Islamist parties won about two-thirds of votes for party lists in the second round of polling for a parliament that will help draft a new constitution after decades of autocratic rule.

A constitution in word only, not in deed as we know it.

Merry Christmas from the Muslim Brotherhood

Feel better now?  If the Muslim Brotherhood is wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, they
must be moderate, right?

From "An Explanatory Memorandum On the General Strategic Goal for the Group In North America 5/22/1991"

4-  Understanding the role of the Muslim Brother in North America:
"The process of settlement is a "Civilization-Jihadist Process" with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is..."

Egypt's Islamist hard-liners oppose Christmas greetings

CAIRO — An ultraconservative Egyptian Islamist group says sending Christmas greetings to Christians is "against our beliefs," a position immediately rebuked by other Muslims.

Good to hear; how many Muslims is "other?"

Nadar Bakar, spokesman of the hard-line Al-Nour party, said Wednesday that Muslims should give greetings to Christians only on "personal occasions," not religious ones.

Al-Nour represents the ultraconservative Salafi movement, which wants to strictly impose Islamic law in Egypt. Al-Nour has won a surprisingly strong 20 percent of the vote so far in Egypt's staggered parliamentary elections.

The remarks prompted Egypt's Al Azhar, the most eminent religious institution, to issue a religious edict approving Christmas greetings. The country's most influential Islamist group, the Muslim Brotherhood, responded by sending "its best Christmas wishes to our brotherly Christians and Muslims as well."
