The incoming head of the CIA converted to Islam while working as a station chief in Saudi Arabia in the 1990s, a former FBI agent has claimed.

John Guandolo, who retired from the FBI in 2008, said in a radio interview that John Brennan - who has been nominated by Barack Obama as the new director of the CIA - visited the Islamic holy cities of Mecca and Medina accompanied by Saudi officials who may have persuaded him to convert.

Mr Guandolo's tale echoes elements of the plot of hit show Homeland, in which U.S. Marine Nick Brody converts to Islam while being held prisoner by al-Qaeda, only to begin working for the CIA after his release.Mr Guandolo told the Trento Radio Show via Skype that Mr Brennan visited the holy sites during the Hajj season - in sees hundreds of thousands of Muslims converge on the cities to perform a series of rituals - while serving as CIA station chief in Riyadh between 1996 and 1999, a report on Al Arabiya News said.
Non-Muslims are prohibited from entering Mecca, and are not permitted to enter the city centre, or sacred core, of Medina.

The ex-FBI agent told the radio station Mr Brennan was 'unfit' to take charge of the CIA, and claimed U.S. government officials based in Saudi Arabia during that period 'were direct witnesses to his growing relationships with individuals who work with the Saudi government and they witnessed his conversion to Islam'.
Mr Brennan, 57, has spent more than three decades working in intelligence.

Fort Hood Hero Says President Obama 'Betrayed' Her, Other Victims

Three years after the White House arranged a hero's welcome at the State of the Union address for the Fort Hood police sergeant and her partner who stopped the deadly shooting there, Kimberly Munley says President Obama broke the promise he made to her that the victims would be well taken care of.

"Betrayed is a good word," former Sgt. Munley told ABC News in a tearful interview to be broadcast tonight on "World News with Diane Sawyer" and "Nightline."

"Not to the least little bit have the victims been taken care of," she said. "In fact they've been neglected."

There was no immediate comment from the White House about Munley's allegations.

Thirteen people were killed, including a pregnant soldier, and 32 others shot in the November 2009 rampage by the accused shooter, Major Nidal Hasan, who now awaits a military trial on charges of premeditated murder and attempted murder.

Tonight's broadcast report also includes dramatic new video, obtained by ABC News, taken in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, capturing the chaos and terror of the day.
Munley, since laid off from her job with the base's civilian police force, was shot three times as she and her partner, Sgt. Mark Todd, confronted Hasan, who witnesses said had shouted "Allahu Akbar" as he opened fire on soldiers being processed for deployment to Afghanistan.

As Munley lay wounded, Todd fired the five bullets credited with bringing Hasan down.
Despite extensive evidence that Hasan was in communication with al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki prior to the attack, the military has denied the victims a Purple Heart and is treating the incident as "workplace violence" instead of "combat related" or terrorism.

Al-Awlaki has since been killed in a U.S. drone attack in Yemen, in what was termed a major victory in the U.S. efforts against al Qaeda.

Munley and dozens of other victims have now filed a lawsuit against the military alleging the "workplace violence" designation means the Fort Hood victims are receiving lower priority access to medical care as veterans, and a loss of financial benefits available to those who injuries are classified as "combat related."

Islamofascism: Islamists have launched a hostile takeover of American language through an increasingly aggressive and organized censorship campaign that threatens free speech.

Over the past few weeks, there have been an alarming number of cases of Muslim pressure groups trying to force Americans to conform to a pro-Islamic speech code.

They've insisted on censoring any speech or expression that offends them, including TV ads, Christian symbols, speeches and even parts of speech.

In some cases, the targets of their wrath have caved in to their demands.

• Last week, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester, Mass., canceled a talk on Islam by author Robert Spencer after local Muslim groups, egged on by Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations, enlisted a sympathetic Boston Globe reporter to smear Spencer as a "bigot."

"We applaud the diocese's decision," CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper gloated.

• Last month, Hooper penned a column demanding the Associated Press drop from its new Stylebook the word "Islamist" to describe militant Muslims who support jihad and Islamizing the West, such as members of the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR itself. He doesn't like the "pejorative" ring to it, accurate as it is.

CAIR already got the U.S. government to scrub the term. Now it's bullying the press not to use it.

• CAIR at the same time is running ads on buses in Chicago and San Francisco redefining the term jihad. The whitewash campaign, dubbed "MyJihad," aims to convince Americans that jihad merely means "to struggle," not wage war.

• Speaking of ads, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee and the Muslim Institute for Interfaith Studies joined forces last week to condemn as "racist" a light-hearted Super Bowl commercial featuring an Arab walking through a desert with a camel. Coca-Cola dropped everything and consulted with the groups on bended knee.

"We did express regret that the ad had been misunderstood," Coke said.

• Islamist groups like CAIR are feverishly trying to insert their own word "Islamophobia" — into the popular lexicon. They use this term, ad nauseam, to describe anyone who speaks critically of the violent nature of Islam.

• Recently they petitioned the United Nations to take action to limit free speech when it's deemed offensive to Muslims, citing a "striking increase in Islamophobia." They hope to one day criminalize it, and they're inching closer and closer to that goal.

• Swayed by such international pressure, the Pentagon last month ordered crosses and other Christian symbols removed from military chapels where our soldiers pray in Afghanistan. Why? They insult the local Muslims.

Crescent moons and other Islamic symbols are perfectly fine, however, and will remain at the mosques the U.S. has erected on those same bases for Afghan interpreters and security trainees.

Here's what's really outrageous about this trend: In many cases, the Muslims demanding greater respect for Islam are the very reason it gets such a bad rap.

Some of the same Islamic groups arguing that their religious rights supercede everyone else's free-speech rights have actually been read their rights as terrorist suspects.

Several former officials of CAIR, for example, now sit in prison on terror-related convictions.

And the Justice Department has ID'd its founder and the entire organization itself as unindicted terrorist co-conspirators, after linking them to both the terrorist group Hamas and the radical Brotherhood in the largest terror-finance case in U.S. history.

Unless Americans want to live under de facto blasphemy laws, they'd better start standing up to these Islamofascists.

Another misunderstander of Islam in Oakland, California

Somehow Matthew Aaron Llaneza missed all the peaceful and tolerant passages in his Qur'an and got it into his head that Islam means blowing up a bank with the people in it.  Maybe he just needs more hugs and someone to explain to him how he got Islam all wrong.

Federal Agents Arrest Man After He Attempts to Bomb Bank in Oakland

OAKLAND, CA—Federal agents arrested Matthew Aaron Llaneza, age 28, of San Jose, California, this morning after he allegedly attempted to detonate a vehicle-borne explosive device at a bank branch in Oakland.

Llaneza’s arrest was the culmination of an undercover operation during which he was closely monitored by the FBI’s South Bay Joint Terrorism Task Force. Unbeknownst to Llaneza, the explosive device that he allegedly attempted to use had been rendered inoperable by law enforcement and posed no threat to the public. Llaneza was charged this morning by criminal complaint with attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction against property used in an activity that affects interstate or foreign commerce.

The arrest was announced by Melinda Haag, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California; Lisa Monaco, Assistant Attorney General for National Security; and FBI Special Agent in Charge, San Francisco Field Office, David J. Johnson.

According to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint, on November 30, 2012, Llaneza met with a man who led him to believe he was connected with the Taliban and the mujahidin in Afghanistan. In reality, this man was an undercover FBI agent. At this initial meeting, Llaneza proposed conducting a car-bomb attack against a bank in the San Francisco Bay Area. He proposed structuring the attack to make it appear that the responsible party was an umbrella organization for a loose collection of anti-government militias and their sympathizers. Llaneza’s stated goal was to trigger a governmental crackdown, which he expected would trigger a right-wing counter-response against the government followed by, he hoped, civil war.

The complaint further alleges that Llaneza subsequently selected the Bank of America branch at 303 Hegenberger Road in Oakland as the target for the attack. Llaneza ultimately specified a spot next to a support column of the bank building as a good location for the bomb, expressed a desire for the bomb to bring down the entire bank building, and offered to drive the car bomb to the bank at the time of the attack.

According to the complaint, in January and February 2013, Llaneza and the undercover agent constructed the purported explosive device inside a sport utility vehicle (SUV) parked inside a storage facility in Hayward, California. As part of the process of assembling the device, Llaneza purchased two cell phones to be used in creating and operating the trigger device for the car bomb. One of these cell phones was incorporated into the trigger device itself. The other was reserved for use on the night of the attack.

The criminal complaint alleges that on the evening of February 7, 2013, Llaneza drove the SUV containing the purported explosive device to the target bank branch in Oakland. He parked the SUV beneath an overhang of the bank building where he armed the trigger device. He then proceeded on foot to a nearby location a safe distance from the bank building, where he met the undercover agent. Once there, Llaneza attempted to detonate the bomb by using the second cell phone he had purchased to place two calls to the trigger device attached to the car bomb. Federal agents then arrested him.

Death threats in Dearbornistan

With the largest Muslim population of any US city, calling it Dearbornistan is appropriate.  Christians have been arrested while trying to talk Jesus with Muslims at the annual Arab street fair, the chief of Police is a Muslim and has called for Christians to be banned from the fair, and the largest mosque in America is located in the heart of Dearbornistan.  It is no surprise then that a recent article in the Dearborn Patch addressing the problems that have happened at the fair garnered its fair share of comment, including death threats aimed at those who ask questions about Islam or Muslims.

Dearborn Muslim Calls for Killing Anti-Islam Protesters

A recent Dearborn Patch article addressed concerns about the location of the annual Dearborn Arab Festival. For several years, the festival has been held on Warren Avenue. However, because the sidewalks adjacent to the festival remain public property during the event, criticism and protest are protected by the First Amendment. In 2012, a group of anti-Islam protesters showed up with signs condemning Muhammad (not to mention a pig's head on pole), and some young Muslims responded violently. Mayor John O'Reilly, a notoriousdefender of the city's campaign against free speech, hopes that organizers will consider moving the festival to a closed location, where the city will not be responsible for handling protesters.

Of course, the only reason protesters show up at the festival is that Dearborn leaders (with occasional help from the American Arab Chamber of Commerce) spent years violating the Constitutional rights of U.S. citizens. I attended the Arab Festival in 2008 and 2009, and I didn't see any protesters. In 2009, however, the Police Department declared that Christians wouldn't be allowed to distribute pamphlets or Bibles, even on the public sidewalks around the festival. This was the same year we were attacked by security for asking a question at a booth that invited us to ask questions. The following year, we were arrested for having a peaceful discussion with some Muslim teenagers who approached us with questions about Christianity. Two days later, police took us into custody again for attempting to distribute Bibles outside the festival.

Egypt court suspends YouTube over anti-Islam film

(Reuters) - An Egyptian court ordered the suspension of online video service YouTube for a month on Saturday for broadcasting a film insulting the Prophet Mohammad, state media reported.

The country's administrative court ordered the ministries of communication and investment to block YouTube, owned by Google, inside Egypt because it had carried the film "Innocence of Muslims," said state news agency MENA.

The 13-minute video, billed as a film trailer and made in the United States, provoked a torrent of anti-American unrest in Egypt, Libya and dozens of other Muslim countries in September.

The video depicts the Prophet as a fool and a sexual deviant. For most Muslims, any portrayal of the Prophet is considered blasphemous.

The court said it was ruling on a case brought about the film several months ago, without going into further detail.

YouTube had "insisted on broadcasting the film insulting Islam and the Prophet, disrespecting the beliefs of millions of Egyptians and disregarding the anger of all Muslims" the court said...

'Anti-Sharia Bill' Passes Florida House Civil Justice Subcommittee

The Florida House Civil Justice Subcommittee has passed HB 351, formally titled "Application of Foreign Law in Certain Cases" but more popularly referred to as an "Anti-Sharia Bill." The bill is modeled after legislation proposed by activist groups who claim Islamic law, which discriminates against women and non-Muslims, is stealthily encroaching upon the American judicial system.

The bill prohibits the enforcement by Florida courts of contracts, mediation agreements, or other voluntary settlements if those agreements are based "on any foreign law, legal code, or system that does not grant the parties affected by the ruling or decision the same fundamental liberties, rights, and privileges guaranteed by the state Constitution or the United States Constitution."

The measure, sponsored by Rep. Larry Metz, R-Yalaha, passed on a party-line vote, with all nine Republicans supporting it and the panel's four Democrats opposing.

Attackers Kill 3 North Korean Doctors in Nigeria

POTISKUM, Nigeria (AP) — Assailants in northeastern Nigeria killed three North Korean doctors, beheading one of the physicians, in the latest attack on health workers in a nation under assault by a radical Islamic sect, officials said Sunday.
The deaths Saturday night of the doctors in Potiskum, a town in Yobe state long under attack by the sect known as Boko Haram, comes after gunmen killed at least nine women administering polio vaccines in Kano, the major city of Nigeria's predominantly Muslim north.

The two attacks raise new questions over whether the extremist sect, targeted by Nigeria's police and military, has picked a new soft target in its guerrilla campaign of shootings and bombings across the nation.

The attackers apparently struck at the North Korean doctors inside their home, said Dr. Mohammed Mamman, chairman of the Hospital Managing Board of Yobe State. The North Korean doctors had no security guards at their residence and typically traveled around the city via three-wheel taxis without a police escort, officials said.

By the time soldiers arrived at the house, they found the doctors' wives cowering in a flower bed outside their home. At the property, they found the corpses of the men, all bearing what appeared to be machete wounds.

An Associated Press journalist later saw the North Korean doctors' corpses before they were moved to nearby Bauchi state for safe keeping. Two of the men had their throats slit. Attackers beheaded the other doctor.
The doctors lived in a quiet neighborhood filled with other modest homes in the town. There wasn't room to house them at the hospital, where they would have had some security protection, Mamman said.

Initially, doctors at the hospital who worked with the physicians identified them as being from South Korea, while police identified the dead as being from China. Ultimately, Mamman of the health board told journalists those killed were from North Korea and had lived in the state since 2005 as part of a technical exchange program between the state and the North Korean government.

There are more than a dozen other North Korean doctors posted to the state under the program, as well as engineers, Mamman said. He said all will receive immediate protection from security forces.

"It is very unfortunate," Mamman said of the killings.

Preachers of hate who spread their violent word on British TV channels

The communications watchdog, Ofcom, has made a series of rulings against channels which allowed “inflammatory” material to be broadcast in breach of rules which forbid extreme opinions gaining a platform on British television.
The cases, disclosed today, include examples of an imam telling viewers that those who disrespect the prophet Mohammed should be killed, and another broadcaster saying homosexuals should be beaten and tortured.
The stations were found to have committed serious breaches of the broadcasting code by allowing the extreme opinions to be aired unchallenged.
Last night experts warned that the extent and seriousness of the broadcasting breaches raises questions over whether extreme Muslim speakers who were previously confined to small audiences in mosques are able to reach thousands more people by broadcasting intolerant teachings on television.
Although the channels have tiny audiences compared to the mainstream, they are targeted at Muslim communities, including people of Pakistani background, with some of the content being broadcast in Urdu and other languages.
The cases identified by Ofcom include:

* An Islamic scholar who told viewers: “It is your duty ... to kill those who insult Prophet Mohammed.”

* A preacher banned from coming to Britain who used the channel - which he co-owns - to say anyone who left Islam should be put to death.

* A phone-in presenter who advocated “eliminating” anyone who disrespected Mohammed.

In some cases the channels had also breached a rule which states that they must keep recordings of all their output, raising the possibility that other inflammatory material has been broadcast but cannot be traced.

With the exception of one radio broadcaster, the channels ruled against by Ofcom are broadcast on the satellite provider Sky. It has no legal responsibility for what is broadcast on the channels it carries. It is up to the stations themselves to make sure they meet Ofcom’s standards and they can be fined or taken off the air if they do not.

The disclosure of the rulings by the broadcasting regulator comes despite a report in 2010 which warned that extremist material was being broadcast.

Tala Rajab, the researcher who wrote the report for Quilliam, the anti-extremist think-tank, said the fresh findings by Ofcom raised serious questions over the regulation of broadcast material.

“Some of these recent incidents have been quite shocking,” he said.

“If this had happened in a mosque the police would be right in pursuing a criminal investigation. But because they are being broadcast on television channels for some reason there seems to be little appetite for looking into these extreme messages.

“If these kind of comments were made against black people, for example, you can imagine a channel being shut down overnight, particularly if they had incited violence against a minority.”

How Islam controls speech in Massachusetts

Robert Spencer was scheduled to speak in Worcester, Mass on March 16 to a group of Catholics on Islam.  As is the norm when Muslims decide to constrict free speech, a letter was sent to the Diocese of Worcester by Abdul Cader Asmal, cochairman of communications for the Islamic Council of New England accusing Spencer of the usual laundry list of crimes; Islamophobia, anti-Muslim bigotry and hatemongering.  With nothing more than ad hominum attacks and schoolyard bullying, Spencer's lecture was cancelled.  It is always telling that Muslims who cannot refute what Spencer says with theological arguments always revert to slander and vitriol.  What is sad about this is that the Diocese never asked Spencer for a rebuttal or bothered to check Asmal's claims.  They took the low road, claiming that to let Spencer speak would cause problems with the interfaith dialogue and multicultural tolerance so carefully nurtured between Catholics and Islam.  Rather than speaking truth to power, the Diocese chose to speak fear to falsehood.

ATLAS EXCLUSIVE: ROBERT SPENCER: WHO'S AN AUTHORITY?

The Roman Catholic diocese of Worcester, Massachusetts invited me last June to speak at their Catholic Men’s Conference this coming March 16; however, under pressure from the Boston Globe and Islamic supremacists in the area, the diocese has canceled my appearance. I am planning to buy an exhibitor’s table and be at the confence anyway, but the whole episode raises important questions about who exactly constitutes an authority to speak on issues of jihad and Islam (and, indeed, any other issue as well), and how that authority is accorded to people in contemporary society.

The diocese folded after receiving a heated and defamatory attack on me from Abdul Cader Asmal, cochairman of communications for the Islamic Council of New England, wrote a libelous and hysterical screed to the diocese of Worcester, labeling me a “hatemonger” and demanding that they cancel my appearance at the conference coming up this March 16. I posted it in full here. Among Asmal’s many claims were these: “Mr Spencer has a very deep rooted Islamophobia and argues by selective quoting of sacred passages taken totally out of context, and exploits any and every opportunity he gets to link the lunatic act of a Muslim in any part of the world as a direct consequence of Islam. He is not an academician, nor does he have a modicum of understanding of Islam.”

Says who? I don't actually do any of these things, but for the diocese of Worcester, it was apparently enough that Abdul Cader Asmal said I did. But who is Abdul Cader Asmal? He is a Boston-area endocrinologist who in 2011 was stripped of his license to practice medicine for reasons unexplained. Even worse, according to Charles Jacobs of Americans for Peace and Tolerance, he is a self-proclaimed friend and supporter of the convicted jihad terrorist, Tarek Mehanna, who is at this moment in federal prison for aiding al-Qaeda.

So why would the diocese of Worcester hasten to do the bidding of Abdul Cader Asmal? Because despite his affinity for al-Qaeda terrorists and his own questionable ethics, he represents politically correct opinion, which virtually everyone in the U.S. today – Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, atheist, whatever – desperately fears to offend.

Consider, in a similar vein, the case of Omid Safi. In her story on the cancellation of my talk in Worcester, the Boston Globe’s Lisa Wangsness wrote this in response to my observation that the Koran contains numerous texts exhorting Muslims to commit violence against unbelievers:
Omid Safi, an Islamic studies scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, said that there are indeed references like that to holy war in the ­Koran and that some ­Muslims in different periods of history have used them to justify their actions.

That does not mean, he said, that most modern ­Muslims accept them literally.

“If we go flipping through each other’s scriptures to persuade ourselves that other people’s scriptures contain violent elements, then that’s a losing game for all of us,” Safi said. “The question is: How do we make sense of them, and which ones do we call upon to live our lives today?”

In the Gospel of Matthew, he notes, Jesus says, “I come not to bring peace, but the sword.

Yeah, that’s why we see armed Christian groups making war against non-Christians worldwide, and quoting this verse. Of course, in reality we don’t see any such thing, and yet we do see armed jihadis all around the world making war against non-Muslims and justifying their actions by reference to the Qur’an. The difference is stark, and shows up the dishonesty of Safi’s remarks.

After all the posturing, statements of victimization and lamentations of misunderstanding, the truth comes out.  Imam Rauf, the darling of the "Cordoba Initiative" and frontman for Islamic supremacism is now on the hotseat, accused of taking millions to support his lavish lifestyle.  Not only was money allegedly used for fancy doo-dads, it was also supposedly spent on Rauf's mistress as well.  I guess not even the admonitions of Muhammad to live the austere and simple life entered Rauf's mind, although it appears he was trying to follow the Qur'anic injunction allowing up to four wives.

Suit: Money funneled by former ‘Ground Zero’ mosque imam to finance lavish lifestyle

The ex-“Ground Zero” imam, his pockets stuffed with donations given to Islamic nonprofits, splurged on a high-flying lifestyle that included expensive trips with a New Jersey gal pal, a stunning new lawsuit charges.

The married Feisal Abdul Rauf fleeced the Malaysian government for $3 million and a Westchester County couple for $167,000, according to a lawsuit filed by the couple, businessman Robert Deak and his wife Moshira Soliman.

The money was given to help Rauf’s two nonprofits, the Cordoba Initiative and the American Society for Muslim Advancement, which work to combat anti-Islamic sentiment.

Instead, the controversial imam used some of the cash to provide lavish gifts and getaways to a woman identified as Evelyn Adorno, who shared “a personal relationship with Rauf,” said Deak’s attorney, Jonathan Nelson.

Adorno lives in North Bergen, N.J. — the same town as the 64-year-old imam and his wife, Daisy Khan.

The rest of the cash was spent on a luxury sports car, personal real estate and entertainment for the imam and his wife, charges the 11-page lawsuit.

The religious leader’s largesse and expensive travel with Adorno, 57, came despite the $50,138 annual salary he reported in Cordoba’s 2010 tax filing.

Khan — listed as a Cordoba director and ASMA’s executive director and co-founder — said Tuesday she did not know about the lawsuit or any charges.

“I haven’t gone on any vacations with my husband,” she told the Daily News. “I really know nothing about this.”

But Nelson specified the trips were with Adorno.

Rauf, who became a polarizing figure in the national debate over the mosque near the World Trade Center site, was ousted as the religious leader of the planned Muslim community center in January 2011.

The imam was at odds with Sharif El-Gamal, the developer of the project at 51 Park Place. His departure came one month after Deak claims that he discovered Rauf was misusing the donations.

The Islamic center, named Park51, opened its doors in September 2011. El-Gamal did not return a Tuesday call for comment on his former colleague.

At the North Bergen apartment where Adorno lives, an irate woman in a bathrobe slammed the door on a reporter. “I’m not going to comment as to whether I’m Evelyn or not,” she snapped.

But one resident said Adorno was a well-known figure in the building. “How could you not know Evelyn? She’s a trip,” said the neighbor, declining to give her name.

Paul Knight, the lawyer for Khan, dismissed the charges and said the imam will prove his innocence.

“The allegations are meritless and we will mount a vigorous defense against this lawsuit,” said Knight.

And Julia Jitkoff, who helped launch Cordoba in 2004 but later resigned from its board, told The News she saw no sign of shenanigans during her time with the nonprofit.

“I’m very fond of both of them,” Jitkoff said of Rauf and Khan.

"Christianity can go to hell" says NEW Muslim Patrol video
Having been exposed, here on The Commentator in January, the group responsible for the now infamous 'Muslim Patrol' videos has been subject to police action, resulting in five arrests last week.

Since then, however, a seventh 'Muslim Patrol' video has come to light (see below).

Though it is not possible to say with certainty that the newest video was recorded after recent media and police interest, the video features a number of comments which would suggest that the latest clip is indeed a reaction to the public backlash:

"Those people attacking Muslim Patrol because of our activities against Western society are clearly misguided away from the understanding of worship of Allah", remarks one particpant.
"Islam is here in London, Mr. David Cameron, Mr. police officer, whether you like it or not. We are commanding good and forbidding evil on this Saturday night, while the police, they try to get us through the media", says another.

Also notable is a subtle difference in style. Specifically, there is less evidence of intimidation and harassment of citizens, and more time dedicated to issuing threats/stated intentions. It should also be noted that the video is replete with firearm and explosive sound-effects.

One anonymous participant, cloaked in a keffiyeh, aggressively suggests,

"The khuffar, you can go to hell; this is not a Christian country. Christianity, you can go to hell."

Before boasting:

"We are in East London, we are in South London, we are in North London... the police cannot stop us, the khuffar cannot stop us. We are coming to implement Islam immediately."

He continues: "anyone who tries to stop us, we will take their alcohol, we will tell the women to cover up, and we will implement Islam upon your own necks [sic] David Cameron."

The Islamization of the White House is proceeding apace, and there seems to be nothing that will stop it.  What have we become that we find it perfectly normal to allow the Muslim American Society (MAS) and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) the opportunity to promote, with State Department blessings recruiting Muslim youth into the Foreign Service?  We are letting our Dear Leader actively work towards the destruction of the very foundation of the country and we seem oblivious to the end result.  I love my country but greatly fear my government.

State Dept. Recruits Muslim Foreign Service Officers at Jihadist Conf.

The Obama administration is covertly recruiting Muslims to work at the State Department as Foreign Service officers representing the United States in one of 265 American embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions worldwide.

It appears to be part of the administration’s Muslim outreach effort, which includes a variety of controversial moves. Among them Homeland Security meetings with extremist Islamic organizations, sending an America-bashing mosque leader (Feisal Abdul Rauf) who blames U.S. foreign policy for the 9/11 attacks on a Middle Eastern outreach mission and revamping the way federal agents are trained to combat terrorism by eliminating all materials that shed a negative light on Muslims. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton even signed a special order to allow the reentry of two radical Islamic academics whose terrorist ties long banned them from the U.S.

Now comes news of a secretive State Department campaign, discovered in the course of a Judicial Watch investigation, to add Muslims to its roster. Presumably, the new recruits will be deployed around the globe to help the agency fulfill its mission of promoting the country’s international relations. The campaign seems to be headed by Mark Ward, the Deputy Special Coordinator in the State Department’s Office of Middle East Transition.

Ward held a 90-minute seminar at a recent convention sponsored by two groups—Muslim American Society (MAS) and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA)—with known ties to radical Islam. Both nonprofits are associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, which is known as the parent organization of Hamas and al Qaeda. In fact, the Investigative Project on Terrorism reports that MAS was founded as the U.S. chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood which strives to indoctrinate the world with Islamic Sharia law.

Yet there was a U.S. State Department official, side by side at a radical Islamic powwow in Chicago with a number ofspeakers who advocate violent jihad.

Mohamed Mohamud guilty verdict: No reaction from defendant, lawyers plan to appeal

Silence fell across a Portland courtroom Thursday as U.S. District Judge Garr M. King read the verdict in the terrorism case of Mohamed Osman Mohamud, whose attempt to bomb the city's town square two years ago stunned the nation.
Jurors found the 21-year-old Somali American guilty of trying to detonate a weapon of mass destruction in Pioneer Courthouse Square -- a four-block walk from where they sat in the downtown courthouse.

Mohamud, whose lawyers argued that the FBI entrapped their client in a sophisticated sting that went too far, showed no reaction.

Wearing a sweater and slacks, he rose from his seat, looked back at his lawyers and waved as deputy U.S. marshals ushered him out of the courtroom. The proceeding took seven minutes.

"It's good to have closure on the case," Ethan D. Knight, the government's chief prosecutor, told a crush of reporters atop the steps of the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse.

"But an instance such as this is also sad in the sense that this defendant's conduct impacted a number of people, including his family," Knight said. "We believe that the evidence showed in court makes clear that this investigation and this prosecution rightfully addressed a significant threat and dangerous situation."

Mohamud's legal team said it will appeal the decision, returned after less than seven hours of deliberation. Chief defense lawyer Stephen R. Sady said the team will work until Mohamud's May 14 sentencing to show reasons he should receive a much-reduced punishment from the potential life prison term he faces.

"We're disappointed with the verdict," said Sady, who spoke briefly with his client after court. "We obviously thought he was entrapped."

Mohamud's conviction made him the ninth person to raise an entrapment defense after being snared in a post-9/11 FBI terrorism sting, said Karen J. Greenberg, director of the Center on National Security at Fordham Law School in New York.

All have been convicted, she said.

If the conviction is not overturned, then all their blathering means nothing.

Mental illness?  Swamp gas?  The lights of Venus?  What the hell is she thinking...or smoking, for that matter.  Incredulous doesn't even begin to cover my reaction, and I have seen her do some weird S*%T in her time on the Hill.  At least she will be gone soon...oh, wait, Kerry will replace her.  Why does that not make me feel better?

Hillary Clinton on Egypt: ‘We Must Make Sure the Revolution Isn’t Hijacked By Extremists’

Hillary Clinton went ‘On the Record’ with Greta Van Susteren in her final days as secretary of state. Regarding the escalating crisis in the Middle East, particularly in Egypt, Van Susteren asked Clinton her thoughts on what’s going to unfold and if the U.S. should intervene.

Clinton said, “I think that post the Arab revolutions that took place in Egypt, and Libya, and Tunisia, […] there was always going to be a period of adjustment.”

She said the U.S. must work with the international community and the people in Egypt to ensure that the revolution isn’t hijacked by extremists. Clinton acknowledged that “it’s hard” to go from decades under one man or one party rule to democracy.

Van Susteren asked about President Mohammed Morsi’s past statements about Israel and an Egyptian senior aide recently saying that the Holocaust didn’t exist. She asked pointedly, “Is Morsi with us or against us?”

With that kind of confidence in our supposed friends, what chance does Israel have?

Clinton answered, “We were quite concerned about those statements and the Egyptian presidency repudiated them and reaffirmed a commitment to the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty.”

Having spoken with Morsi, Clinton says he has “a lot of the right intentions.” She remained cautious, saying, “We have to you know, keep pushing forward and yet call it like we see it when we think something is not appropriate.”

Two Iraqis living in US sentenced in terrorism case

AFP - A US judge sentenced two Iraqi men living in Kentucky to federal prison for their role in a plot to ship weapons to Iraqi insurgents and raise money for the Al-Qaeda terror network.

Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, 25, was sentenced to life in federal prison while his accomplice Waad Ramadan Alwan, 31, was sentenced to 40 years in prison followed by supervised release, the US Justice Department said.

Both had pleaded guilty to federal terrorism charges, but were not charged with plotting attacks within the United States.

The two Iraqis who were living in Bowling Green, in the southern state of Kentucky, "participated in terrorist activities overseas and attempted to continue providing material support to terrorists while they lived here in the United States," said Lisa Monaco, Assistant Attorney General for National Security.

"With today's sentences, both men are being held accountable," Monaco said.

Authorities arrested Hammadi and Alwan in an FBI sting involving an undercover agent posing as part of a group sending money and weapons to insurgents in Iraq.

Alwan, whose fingerprints were found on an unexploded roadside bomb found in Iraq, pleaded guilty in December 2011 to all counts of a 23-count federal indictment that included conspiracy to kill US nationals abroad and export Stinger shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles.

In August 2012 Hammadi pleaded guilty to a 12-count indictment that included similar charges.

CONSERVATIVE’S ANTI-MUHAMMAD AD REJECTED BY DETROIT TRANSIT SYSTEM — BUT CAN YOU GUESS WHICH AD WAS ACCEPTED?

Religious advertisements have been known to spark intense debate. Consider the anti-God billboards that are regularly posted by non-theist groups like the Freedom From Religion Foundation and American Atheists. But it isn’t only non-believers who invoke controversy with their messaging.

Pamela Geller and her American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) have also come under intense scrutiny for subway and bus ads that target Islamic extremism. Now, the AFDI is embroiled in a new battle over a proposed anti-Muhammad ad that was rejected this week by Detroit’s Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) bus system.

In an e-mail to TheBlaze on Tuesday evening, the AFDI president noted that, while SMART previously accepted an “anti-God” atheist ad from the Detroit Coalition for Reason (DCOR), the public transit company has rejected her organization’s ad. This is particularly interesting, seeing as the AFDI modeled its design almost entirely after the DCOR’s banner.
“Our ad, same ad, with one word flipped, was rejected,” Geller told TheBlaze.

The original atheist design featured clouds and the words, “Don’t believe in God? You are not alone.” The organization’s web address was also present to the bottom left of the ad, sending Internet users to a web site that encourages people to “shine the light of reason” and to reject faith and religion.

As you can see below, AFDI ad looks almost entirely similar to the aforementioned description. The only difference between the designs is that the word “God” is swapped out for “Muhammad,” the holy prophet in the Islamic faith. And the web address in the latter ad encourages those viewing it to go to TheTruthAboutMuhammad.com, a web site that wages some potentially-offensive allegations against the religious figure.

Obviously the similarities were intentional, with Geller telling TheBlaze that her quest to see the Muhammad ad get placed had everything to do with examining free speech as it applies to the Islamic faith.

“This message parallels the atheist ads — ‘Don’t Believe in God? You’re Not Alone’ — that ran previously,” she explained. “Since they were accepted, I modeled this ad after them to see if the freedom of speech applied to criticism of Islam in our cowardly and politically correct age.”

In a letter that Geller forwarded to TheBlaze, CBS Outdoor’s Howard Marcus rejected the ad, citing a past legal battle that AFDI waged against SMART over a previous rejection.

“The proposed advertisement submitted by Pamela Geller has been reviewed under SMART’s content policy. SMART, consistent with its review process, also reviewed the referred-to website: thetruthaboutmuhammed.com,” read Marcus’ e-mail. “Consistent with its policy, with the Sixth Circuit opinion in AFDI v SMART, and consistent with other law, SMART declines to post the advertisement.”

Justice in Mali; French troops liberate Gao and Timbuktu, civilians hunt down and beat remaining jihadists

As is sometimes seen on those cop shows, here we have the subjugated people of Mali fighting back against their oppressors when given a fair chance.  It's good to see blood spilled that deserves it, rather than the innocent people of Mali.  Bravo to the French as well, they hit hard and sent the jihadists running.  Islam will be back, and this fight will have to happen again.  That is one of the many downsides to Islamic dogma.

Suspected Islamists hunted down and beaten in liberated Mali towns

GAO, MALI—It was payback time Tuesday in the newly liberated town of Gao in Mali, with residents hunting down and beating suspected Islamist extremists who had not fled with their brothers-in-arms as Malian and French military forces closed in and retook the town.

Malian troops bundled the men into an army truck, their hands bound behind their backs. For the better part of a year, the Al-Qaeda-linked extremists had banned music, insisted women cover themselves and began carrying out public executions and amputations in the towns of northern Mali that they controlled.

Now the Islamists' control of the cities has slipped, with the provincial capitals of Gao and Timbuktu coming back under government authority in quick succession with the arrival of French and Malian troops. They also may have lost control of a third key city, Kidal.
France, the former colonial ruler, began sending in troops, helicopters and warplanes on Jan. 11 to turn the tide after the armed Islamists began encroaching on the south, toward the capital. French and Malian troops seized Gao during the weekend, welcomed by joyous crowds. They took Timbuktu on Monday. The Islamists gave up both cities and retreated into the desert.
But not all of them left.
Members of a youth militia, the Gao Patrolmen, went house-to-house hunting down suspected Islamic extremists in Gao. Abdul Karim Samba, spokesman for the group, said men were scouring the town for remnants of the extremist Islamist group known as the Movement for Unity and Oneness of the Jihad, or MUJAO.

Fordom nuclear plant in Iran suffered a "mega-explosion" says Israeli intelligence

No report on whether the explosion was deliberate or an accident.  If true it would set Iran's nuclear program back at least 12-18 months, probably more.  Good news as far a a little breathing room goes, but we will soon be back where we are today, and may have to take even more drastic action.

Israeli Source Confirms Iran’s Fordow Nuclear Plant Exploded

An Israeli intelligence source has confirmed Iran’s Fordow underground nuclear uranium enrichment facility sustained major damage in a “mega explosion” that occurred last week.

Fordow, which contains at least 2,700 centrifuges for uranium enrichment, is located deep beneath a mountain near the Iranian city of Qom.

Some 200 workers were trapped inside the facility at the time, according to a report published Monday by The Times, a UK-based newspaper.

The report quoted an Israeli official as saying “We’re still in the early stages of trying to comprehend what happened and the extend of its significance.” The source added that it was not yet known whether the explosion was “an act of sabotage or incidental.”

The official declined to reveal whether Israeli aircraft had been in the vicinity at the time of the explosion.

Iran has denied that any explosion occurred at the facility, claiming in a statement to the official IRNA news agency that reports of the blast were nothing more than “Western propaganda.”

News of the explosion was reported Friday by the U.S.-based WND website.

Gunmen kill eight in northeastern Nigeria

(AGI) - Abuja, Jan 28 - Gunmen killed eight people in the northeastern part of Nigeria, the main stronghold of Boko Haram Islamic fundamentalists. The bodies were found in the state of Borno on Sunday. A local police officer said the reason for the killings is unclear, and that Boko Haram is the main suspect.

The Islamist group, also called the African Taliban, is responsible for the death of at least 3,000 people in the past three years. . .
