Jihadi John is back and boy is he miffed

The Islamic State beheader has reappeared in a new video, claiming he will be coming to Britain and will continue to chop heads of the infidels.  Isn't that lovely.  Another attempt to strike terror into the hearts of the enemy, and with England already giving in to Islamic intimidation it is an attempt that will succeed, at least in raising the level of fear of defending against Islam in government and the population.

From the Daily Mail August 23 by Omar Wahid

Jihadi John - 'I will go back to Britain... and will carry on cutting heads off': In a chilling new video, man said to be hooded butcher vows to return... and murder all unbelievers

Swaggering in the desert and glowering menacingly at the camera, this is believed to be notorious Islamic State murderer Jihadi John – filmed unmasked in Syria for the first time.

In a one-minute 17-second video, the knife-wielding fanatic, who has taken part in the gruesome beheadings of at least seven hostages in Syria, including two Britons, vows to continue ‘cutting heads’.

He then promises a triumphant return to Britain with the terror group’s self-styled leader.

The Mail on Sunday has obtained the first footage of the killer to emerge from Syria since he was identified in February as 27-year-old Londoner Mohammed Emwazi.

He was last seen in a sickening IS video at the end of January, beheading Japanese hostage Kenji Goto.

We understand the latest film was shot on a mobile phone about two months ago near the IS-held town of Deir Ezzor in south-east Syria.

In an eight-second excerpt obtained by this newspaper the camera pans away from a flatbed truck upon which a grenade-launcher is mounted, to reveal a hooded Emwazi in profile.

Swathed in black and wearing a cap under his hood, he then turns and stares directly into the lens before looking away to scan the desert.

No sound accompanies the footage we have been given but we have been played an audio excerpt from the full video.

In it, the man thought to be Jihadi John is heard clearly saying, in a British accent: ‘I will carry on cutting heads.’

The film was secretly obtained by rebel fighters of the Free Syrian Army, who sent it to one of their colleagues, known as Abu Rashid, in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

It was then shown in full to another FSA-linked activist in Istanbul who told us: ‘He looks at the camera and says, “I am Mohammed Emwazi. I will soon go back to Britain with the Khalifa” [the leader of Islamic State].’

The activist continues: ‘He said something more about cutting heads off, “We will kill the kuffar.” Then the camera shows two masked men that looked like bodyguards.’

French train jihadist "dumbfounded" at accusations of being a terrorist, father "shocked" at sons actions

While the mosque he regularly attended knows nothing of his motives or behaviors and the authorities scratch their heads over motive.  Such is the state of affairs about the ongoing jihad against the West.

From the Daily Telegraph August 23

Train attack gunman ‘dumbfounded’ by accusations of terrorism

MISSING part of his thumb and with numerous knife wounds, US airman Spencer Stone stuck his fingers into a woman’s gunshot wound after subduing the Paris train gunman.

He was one of three American travellers who say they relied on gut instinct and a close bond forged over years of friendship as they took down aheavily armed man on a passenger train speeding through Belgium.

Stone, recounting for the first time last night how a likely catastrophe was averted two days earlier, said the gunman, an assault rifle strapped to his bare chest, seemed like he was “ready to fight to the end.” But he added, “So were we.”

Without a note of bravado but a huge dose of humility, the three described Friday’s drama on an Amsterdam-to-Paris fast train.

His arm in a sling, Stone, 23, said he was coming out of a deep sleep when the gunman appeared.

One of his friends, Alek Skarlatos, a 22-year-old National Guardsman recently back from Afghanistan, “just hit me on the shoulder and said ‘Let’s go.”’

As for the jihadi;

(.)“He is dumbfounded that his action is being characterised as terrorism,” she said.

He described himself as homeless and David said she had “no doubt” this was true, saying he was “very, very thin” as if suffering from malnutrition and “with a very wild look in his eyes.”

He claims to have found the weapons in a park near the Brussels train station where he had been sleeping, stashed them for several days and then decided to hold up train passengers.

“He thought of a holdup to be able to feed himself, to have money,” she said on BFM-TV, then “shoot out a window and jump out to escape.”

Islamic State destroys the priceless temple of Baal Shamin in Palmyra

Another victim of jahiliyya, the Islamic tenet which requires the destruction of anything that came before Muhammad and the creation of Islam in 622AD in order to eliminate the possibility of idolatry against Allah.  All the ruins left by the Islamic State are a result of this dictate.

And the world yawns and does nothing.

ISIS blows up ancient temple in Syria’s Palmyra

Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants on Sunday blew up the ancient temple of Baal Shamin in the UNESCO-listed Syrian city of Palmyra, the country’s antiquities chief told AFP.

“Daesh placed a large quantity of explosives in the temple of Baal Shamin today and then blew it up causing much damage to the temple,” said Maamoun Abdulkarim, using another name for ISIS.

Over the past several months, ISIS have blown up and defaced historical sites and artifacts across their sprawling self-proclaimed "caliphate" stretching across Iraq and Syria.

ISIS took control of Palmyra in May, located in the central desert region of the country, sparking worldwide concern that they would destroy its 2,000 year-old ruins.

Last week, the militants caused uproar when they beheaded Khaled Asaad, an 82-year-old antiquities scholar living in Palmyra, reportedly because he refused to reveal where some artifacts were hidden.

In June, ISIS destroyed two ancient Muslim mausoleums in Palmyra....

Iran to inspect itself on nuclear program, then report to the UN on their findings...wait, what?

Unfortunately this one is a "wait, what" moment that is true.  The country which chants "Death to America/Jews" every Friday after evening prayers has a secret agreement that allows them to inspect their own sites and report to the IAEA at the UN.

Really.

"The agreement in question diverges from normal procedures by allowing Tehran to employ its own experts and equipment in the search for evidence of activities it has consistently denied - trying to develop nuclear weapons"

From AP August 19 by George Jahn

AP EXCLUSIVE: UN TO LET IRAN INSPECT ALLEGED NUKE WORK SITE

VIENNA (AP) -- Iran will be allowed to use its own inspectors to investigate a site it has been accused of using to develop nuclear arms, operating under a secret agreement with the U.N. agency that normally carries out such work, according to a document seen by The Associated Press.

The revelation on Wednesday newly riled Republican lawmakers in the U.S. who have been severely critical of a broader agreement to limit Iran's future nuclear programs, signed by the Obama administration, Iran and five world powers in July. Those critics have complained that the wider deal is unwisely built on trust of the Iranians, while the administration has insisted it depends on reliable inspections.

A skeptical House Speaker John Boehner said, "President Obama boasts his deal includes `unprecedented verification.' He claims it's not built on trust. But the administration's briefings on these side deals have been totally insufficient - and it still isn't clear whether anyone at the White House has seen the final documents."

Said House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce: "International inspections should be done by international inspectors. Period."

The newly disclosed side agreement, for an investigation of the Parchin nuclear site by the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency, is linked to persistent allegations that Iran has worked on atomic weapons. That investigation is part of the overarching nuclear-limits deal.

Evidence of the inspections concession is sure to increase pressure from U.S. congressional opponents before a Senate vote of disapproval on the overall agreement in early September. If the resolution passes and President Barack Obama vetoes it, opponents would need a two-thirds majority to override it. Even Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican, has suggested opponents will likely lose a veto fight, though that was before Wednesday's disclosure.

John Cornyn of Texas, the second-ranking Republican senator, said, "Trusting Iran to inspect its own nuclear site and report to the U.N. in an open and transparent way is remarkably naive and incredibly reckless. This revelation only reinforces the deep-seated concerns the American people have about the agreement."

The Parchin agreement was worked out between the IAEA and Iran. The United States and the five other world powers were not party to it but were briefed by the IAEA and endorsed it as part of the larger package.

On Wednesday, White House National Security Council spokesman Ned Price said the Obama administration was "confident in the agency's technical plans for investigating the possible military dimensions of Iran's former program. ... The IAEA has separately developed the most robust inspection regime ever peacefully negotiated."

All IAEA member countries must give the agency some insight into their nuclear programs. Some are required to do no more than give a yearly accounting of the nuclear material they possess. But nations- like Iran - suspected of possible proliferation are under greater scrutiny that can include stringent inspections.

The agreement in question diverges from normal procedures by allowing Tehran to employ its own experts and equipment in the search for evidence of activities it has consistently denied - trying to develop nuclear weapons.

Olli Heinonen, who was in charge of the Iran probe as deputy IAEA director general from 2005 to 2010, said he could think of no similar concession with any other country.

The White House has repeatedly denied claims of a secret side deal favorable to Tehran. IAEA chief Yukiya Amano told Republican senators last week that he was obligated to keep the document confidential.

Obama to US Jews: if congress kills the Iran nuclear deal rockets will rain on Tel-Aviv

What a putz.  A veiled threat against Israel seems to be common behavior from Obama, and one must wonder if the current WH is actually a friend or enemy of the Jewish State.

From The Jerusalem Post August 5 by Herb Keinon and Michael Wilner

Obama tells US Jews: Rockets will fall on Tel Aviv if Congress kills Iran nuclear deal

Washington-A scuttling of the Iran nuclear deal would result in rockets falling on Tel Aviv as Israel would “bear the burden” of a US military attack on Iran, US President Barack Obama told a delegation of Jewish leaders at the White House on Tuesday.
According to National Jewish Democratic Council chairman Greg Rosenbaum, one of nearly two dozen heads of Jewish organizations at the meeting, one of the participants took umbrage with Obama’s characterization of those who are opposed to the deal as warmongers. The president then launched into an explanation of why he believed that the rejection of the deal would ultimately lead to a US military attack. Obama said that if Congress rejected the deal, the Iranians would walk away from negotiations and he would be under intense pressure to take military action.

This, Rosenbaum quoted Obama as saying, would be disastrous for Israel and the US.
Iran, with its annual $15 billion military budget, would not go to war with the US, with a defense budget of nearly $600 billion a year, but would fight an “asymmetrical” war, the president said.

Another participant in the meeting, Robert Wexler, president of the S. Daniel Abraham Center for Middle East Peace, confirmed the conversation.

Obama mentioned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s support for the invasion of Iraq, as well as his skepticism over the JPOA, an interim nuclear accord that was in place during the negotiations, he said.

“He approached it in a lawyerly fashion,” Wexler said, who thought some minds may have been changed during the meeting.

However, a third participant disagreed. Few skeptics were converted, he said, adding that nearly half of the meeting focused on the president’s tone in describing critics of the agreement.

The global jihad continues to expand, now in Macedonia

Macedonia?  Is there no area in which Islam makes itself known?

From Omaha.com August 6

Macedonian police arrest 9 suspected IS members, seek 27

SKOPJE, Macedonia (AP) — Macedonian police on Thursday announced the arrests of nine people suspected of belonging to the Islamic State group and said they are seeking a further 27, following raids in the capital, Skopje, and several towns in the northeast of the country.

Interior ministry spokesman Ivo Kotevski told The Associated Press that all those arrested are Macedonian nationals. They are suspected of being volunteers or recruiters for the group to fight in Syria and Iraq.

Islamic State is banned in Macedonia, where participation of the country's citizens in overseas militant groups carries a sentence of at least four years in prison.

Interior Minister Mitko Cavkov said the people arrested included a Muslim cleric believed to be the group's main organizer. It was unclear whether they are suspected of planning terrorist attacks in Macedonia.

The police raids took place late Wednesday in Skopje and the northeastern towns of Kumanovo, Tetovo, Gostivar and Struga. Officers searched 25 houses, an Internet cafe, a mosque and the offices of two Islam-linked NGOs, and seized computers, mobile phones and cash

Cavkov said 130 people from Macedonia are believed to have joined the Islamic State militants and fought in Syria or Iraq. At least 16 Macedonians have been killed in the fighting.

SCOTUS Kerry: rejecting nuclear deal with Iran will "screw" the Ayatollah

“The ayatollah constantly believed that we are untrustworthy, that you can’t negotiate with us, that we will screw them,” Kerry said. “This”—a congressional rejection—“will be the ultimate screwing.”

The "screwing" is being done to Israel, the American people and to global security, all in the name of bringing peace to the Middle East.

Folly of epic proportions.

From The Atlantic August 5 by Jeffrey Goldberg

John Kerry on the Risk of Congress ‘Screwing’ the Ayatollah

When I met with Secretary of State John Kerry in his office this past Friday, it was apparent that he was in an exceedingly feisty mood, and it’s not easy to display feistiness when you’re trapped, as he was, in a recliner. Kerry, who broke his leg two months ago, will be rid of his crutches soon, which for him is not soon enough, because he’d prefer to do battle in Congress for the Iran nuclear agreement—quite obviously the crowning achievement, in his mind, of his long and distinguished career in public life—with two good legs.

Congress is the target of Kerry’s feistiness, as is his close friend and staunch adversary, the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, who is leading the charge against congressional ratification of the deal. In the course of a lengthy and freewheeling interview—which you will find published in full, below—Kerry warned that if Congress rejects the Iran deal, it will confirm the anti-U.S. suspicions harbored by the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and eliminate any chance of a peaceful solution to the nuclear conundrum.

“The ayatollah constantly believed that we are untrustworthy, that you can’t negotiate with us, that we will screw them,” Kerry said. “This”—a congressional rejection—“will be the ultimate screwing.” He went on to argue that “the United States Congress will prove the ayatollah’s suspicion, and there’s no way he’s ever coming back. He will not come back to negotiate. Out of dignity, out of a suspicion that you can’t trust America. America is not going to negotiate in good faith. It didn’t negotiate in good faith now, would be his point.”

Kerry also said that his chief Iranian interlocutor, the foreign minister, Javad Zarif, and Zarif’s boss, the (relatively) reformist president, Hassan Rouhani, would be in “serious trouble” at home if the deal falls through. Zarif, Kerry told me, explicitly promised him that Iran will engage with the United States and its Arab allies on a range of regional issues, should Congress approve the deal. “Zarif specifically said to me in the last two weeks, ‘If we get this finished, I am now empowered to work with and talk to you about regional issues.’” Kerry went on, “This is in Congress’s hands. If Congress says no, Congress will shut that down, shut off that conversation, set this back, and set in motion a series of inevitables about what would happen with respect to Iranian behavior, and, by the way, the sanctions will be over.”

Iran nuclear deal done, now time to destroy Israel

"(Ayatollah) Khamenei makes his position clear from the start: Israel has no right to exist as a state....Khamenei claims that his strategy for the destruction of Israel is not based on anti-Semitism, which he describes as a European phenomenon. His position is instead based on “well-established Islamic principles.”

How could this be?  Obama, Kerry, Cameron, Merkel and a host of other world leaders keep telling us that violence, anti-semitism and calls for death to Jews has nothing to do with Islam, as Islam is a religion of peace.  How much longer they can hold onto their cognitive dissonance before their heads explode is anyone's guess.

From the New York Post August 1 by Amir Taheri

Iran publishes book on how to outwit US and destroy Israel

While Secretary of State John Kerry and President Obama do their best to paper over the brutality of the Iranian regime and force through a nuclear agreement, Iran’s religious leader has another issue on his mind: The destruction of Israel.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has published a new book called “Palestine,” a 416-page screed against the Jewish state. A blurb on the back cover credits Khamenei as “The flagbearer of Jihad to liberate Jerusalem.”

A friend sent me a copy from Iran, the only place the book is currently available, though an Arabic translation is promised soon.

Obama administration officials likely hope that no American even hears about it.

Khamenei makes his position clear from the start: Israel has no right to exist as a state.

He uses three words. One is “nabudi” which means “annihilation.” The other is “imha” which means “fading out,” and, finally, there is “zaval” meaning “effacement.”

Khamenei claims that his strategy for the destruction of Israel is not based on anti-Semitism, which he describes as a European phenomenon. His position is instead based on “well-established Islamic principles.”

Islamic principles are motivated in large part by anti-semitism.

One such principle is that a land that falls under Muslim rule, even briefly, can never again be ceded to non-Muslims. What matters in Islam is ownership of a land’s government, even if the majority of inhabitants are non-Muslims.

Khomeinists are not alone in this belief.

Dozens of maps circulate in the Muslim world showing the extent of Muslim territories lost to the Infidel that must be recovered.

These include large parts of Russia and Europe, almost a third of China, the whole of India and parts of The Philippines and Thailand....
