State Department diplomat investigated for passing secrets to Pakistan

Another in a long line of scandals in the Obama WH.  The FBI is in process of investigating Robin L. Raphel, retired State Dept diplomat, she is "...considered one of the leading American experts on Pakistan, (and) was stripped of her security clearances last month and no longer has access to the State Department building".

What was her motive, if indeed she passed state secrets to Pakistan?  What was found at her home and what did she say to the Pakistani official so far unidentified?  This kind of sedition will become more dangerous, as there are many other Islamic sympathizers in the highest corridors of the administration who's allegiance is first to Allah and second to the US.  It appears Ms. Raphel has her loyalties pointed towards the Star and Crescent.

From The New York Times November 20 by Matt Apuzzo, Michael S. Schmidt and Mark Mazzetti

Eavesdropping on Pakistani Official Led to Inquiry Into Former U.S. Diplomat

WASHINGTON — American investigators intercepted a conversation this year in which a Pakistani official suggested that his government was receiving American secrets from a prominent former State Department diplomat, officials said, setting off an espionage investigation that has stunned diplomatic circles here.

That conversation led to months of secret surveillance on the former diplomat, Robin L. Raphel, and an F.B.I. raid last month at her home, where agents discovered classified information, the officials said.

The investigation is an unexpected turn in a distinguished career that has spanned four decades. Ms. Raphel (pronounced RAY-full) rose to become one of the highest-ranking female diplomats and a fixture in foreign policy circles, serving as ambassador to Tunisia and as assistant secretary of state for South Asian affairs in the Clinton administration.

Ms. Raphel, 67, considered one of the leading American experts on Pakistan, was stripped of her security clearances last month and no longer has access to the State Department building.

The investigation is a rare example of an F.B.I. espionage case breaking into public view. Counterintelligence — the art of spotting and thwarting spies — is the F.B.I.’s second-highest priority, after fighting terrorism, but the operations are conducted almost entirely in secret. On any given day, Washington’s streets crawl with F.B.I. surveillance teams following diplomats and spies, adding to files that are unlikely ever to become public.

The senior American officials briefed on the case spoke on the condition of anonymity because they did not want to be identified discussing a continuing investigation. Spokesmen for the F.B.I. and Department of Justice declined to comment.

Ms. Raphel has not been charged with a crime. The scope of the investigation is not known, and it is unclear exactly what the Pakistani official said in the intercepted conversation that led to suspicion about Ms. Raphel. It is also not clear whether the conversation was by telephone, email or some other form of communication.

Still, the new details shed some light on the evidence that Justice Department prosecutors are weighing as they decide whether to bring charges. And they help explain why the F.B.I. viewed the matter seriously enough to search her home and State Department office, steps that would bring the investigation into the open.

Ms. Raphel is among a generation of diplomats who rose through the ranks of the State Department at a time when Pakistan was among America’s closest allies and a reliable bulwark against the Soviet Union. After retiring from the government in 2005, she lobbied on behalf of the Pakistani government before accepting a contract to work as a State Department adviser.

While the F.B.I. secretly watched Ms. Raphel in recent months, agents suspected that she was improperly taking classified information home from the State Department, the officials said. Armed with a warrant, the agents searched her home in a prosperous neighborhood near the Maryland border with Washington, and found classified information, the officials said.

Somali Islamic scholar says Islam does not require death for apostasy, Muslims get angry and make threats

Why would Muslims get mad when an Islamic scholar, educated in Saudi Arabia makes the claim that apostasy does not demand death?  Because he is going against 1400 years of Islamic theology and the word of Muhammad, that's why.

Abdisaid Abdi Ismail gives a valiant effort, but in the end he cannot make the case because he cannot show doctrinal evidence that disputes the hadith which says in no uncertain terms "Narrated Ikrima, "Some atheists were brought to Ali and he burnt them. The news of this event, reached Ibn Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's messenger forbade it, saying, "Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire)." I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Messenger, "Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him."  Bukhari, volume 9, #57

Ismail and others like him should not be supported in their effort, if there is to be any conversation on the problems with Islam, it needs to be exposed to the light of discussion and debate in order to make the needed reforms that would turn Islam into that vaunted "Religion of Peace" so ardently claimed by Obama and other Western leaders.

Death penalty for apostasy not justifiable in Islam: Somali scholar
Somali author Abdisaid Abdi Ismail has come under intense scrutiny after publishing a Somali language book titled "The Rule of Apostasy in Islam: Is it True?" in which he argues that there is no religious justification for killing people for apostasy.

The book sparked mixed reactions among the Somali community in Kenya and Somalia following its launch in Nairobi on September 14th.

After some clerics called for the book to be banned and burned, most Somali bookstores in Eastleigh stopped selling it, and it is now being sold "discreetly" in a few bookstores in Garissa and Nairobi as well as online, Ismail said.

Ismail, a 50-year-old Galkayo native, received a scholarship from Umm al-Qura University in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, where he studied sharia law and advocacy, graduating in 2002 with a master's degree in Islamic economics. Since then, Ismail has written two books in Arabic, "Muslim Countries' Expanding Debt Dilemma" and "Globalisation in the Muslim World: Facts and Figures", and two other books in Somali, "How to Eradicate Poverty" and "Introduction to Islamic Economics".

Ismail, a father of three, has taught economics at East Africa University in Bosaso since 2009, but says he cannot go back to Somalia now due to death threats he has received since publishing his latest book in Nairobi.

In an exclusive interview with Sabahi, Ismail talks about why it is important to discuss the subject of apostasy in Islam, his research on the topic, and the need to promote and tolerate a healthy debate on diverse ideas among Somalis.

Sabahi: Tell us more about your book and why you wrote it.

Abdisaid Abdi Ismail: The main thesis of this book is about apostasy in Islam, but I also talked about several other issues such as state and religion, gender equality in terms of blood money, death by stoning of adulterers and adulteresses, et cetera.

I wrote this book for the Somali community to let them know some of the big issues in their religion that involve their life in this world and hereafter, which some Somali clerics continuously explain in a way that does not match the real meaning of the Islamic teachings.

I hope that the people who read this book will realise what Islam says about the issues covered by the book, but the core message is that Islam is the religion of humanity and mercy, and it values above all the life of human beings.

Sabahi: You made the issue of apostasy your main focus. Why do you think it is so relevant now and important for Somalis to understand?

Ismail: It is a very important issue in [Muslim] society today because extremist groups are using the apostasy issue as a tool to justify their heinous and brutal killing against those who oppose their erroneous interpretation of Islam or even their political agenda.

This issue is very important for the Muslim community in general, but especially for the Somali community, because their blood is being shed on a daily basis using apostasy as a tool to justify it.

I believe the topic deserves to be discussed in a broader way in the current situation of the Muslim world. I would have liked if someone else could have written about it, but unfortunately no one has written about it and that has forced me to do it now, and I chose the Somali language so as to be able to reach Somali speaking peoples in East Africa and throughout the world at large.

Sabahi: Is death an adequate punishment for apostasy and in line with Islamic teachings?

Ismail: I have been researching the issue of apostasy for a while, comparing the various perspectives and the evidences that each extremist group is using and what the Qur'an and the teachings of the prophet said about it.

What my findings led me to conclude is that the death penalty for apostasy does not have any valid argument in Islam... my view regarding apostasy is that there is no punishment for apostasy in this world.

Australian jihadists rejected because they were too fat to fight

Oh the irony!  Who knew the Islamic State had physical restrictions on jihad?

"They’re definitely not fit to fight, they don’t have any knowledge of how to fight". He said they were too "unfit to run in a field"

I just cannot stop chuckling.

From Breitbart November 17 by Andre Walker

AUSTRALIAN JIHADIS 'TOO FAT FOR ISIS'
Two Australian jihadis are reported to have been told they were too fat to join the ranks of ISIS terrorists. The 22-stone brothers are said to have gone to Syria whilst claiming to their parents they were heading for a holiday in Thailand.

They travelled from Western Sydney with two less rotund friends, according to the Australian Muslim leader Dr Jamal Rifi. The brothers are believed to have appeared in a video in which they literally attempt to jump through hoops to improve their fitness.

Dr Rifi described the pair as "obese" and "unfit". He told the Metro: "They’re definitely not fit to fight, they don’t have any knowledge of how to fight". He said they were too "unfit to run in a field".

"They didn’t show any signs of radicalisation. They were good boys, which is why their mother is so shocked."

Despite the amusing problem faced by the brothers, they do form part of a growing group of Westerners committed to the violent struggle. A number of European Union nationals are believed to have appeared in the video of the murder of Peter Kessig, which appeared over the weekend.

The group were led by 'Jihad John' who never appears without covering his face, but his accent has led most observers to conclude he is from London.

The Islamic State now in Libya

The longer the Islamic State stays around, the more recruits will join.  The more recruits that join, the larger and more powerful the Islamic State becomes.  The larger the Islamic State becomes, the more recruits will show up.....

Rinse and repeat, and soon the Islamic State becomes what it claims to be; the new caliphate with a recognized caliph.  At that point there will be no chance to stop it without mass bloodshed and a reorganizing of the world order.  Samuel Huntington called it a "Clash of Civilizations" and it appears his prediction is coming true.

With the Islamic State now in Libya, they are but 200 miles from the coast of Europe.  This is not a good thing, to be ignored and brushed aside as nothing important.  It is another chapter in the continuing Islamic conquest and one where our ignorance of the matter will get us either enslaved or killed.

ISIS comes to Libya

(CNN) -- The black flag of ISIS flies over government buildings. Police cars carry the group's insignia. The local football stadium is used for public executions. A town in Syria or Iraq? No. A city on the coast of the Mediterranean, in Libya.

Fighters loyal to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria are now in complete control of the city of Derna, population of about 100,000, not far from the Egyptian border and just about 200 miles from the southern shores of the European Union.

The fighters are taking advantage of political chaos to rapidly expand their presence westwards along the coast, Libyan sources tell CNN.

The sources say the Derna branch of ISIS counts 800 fighters and operates half a dozen camps on the outskirts of the town, as well as larger facilities in the nearby Green Mountains, where fighters from across North Africa are being trained.

It has been bolstered by the return to Libya from Syria and Iraq of up to 300 Libyan jihadists who were part of ISIS' al Battar Brigade -- deployed at first in Deir Ezzor in Syria and then Mosul in Iraq. These fighters supported the Shura Council for the Youth of Islam in Derna, a pro-ISIS faction.

The council had been competing for superiority with another militant group, the Abu Salem Brigade, some of whose fighters' loyalties lay with al Qaeda, according to Noman Benotman, a former Libyan jihadist now involved in counter-terrorism for the Quilliam Foundation.

Al Qaeda's top envoy in Libya, Abdulbasit Azuz, left Derna after U.S. Special Forces captured Ahmed Abu Khatallah, an alleged ringleader of the Benghazi attacks in June. Azuz is now believed to be in Syria, Benotman told CNN.

Amateur video from the end of October showed a large crowd of militants affiliated with the Shura Council for the Youth of Islam chanting their allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi. The new ISIS wing in Derna calls itself the "Barqa" provincial division of the Islamic State, the name given to the eastern region of Libya when Islamic rule replaced the Roman Empire.

The Libyan branch of ISIS now has a tight grip on the city, controlling the courts, all aspects of administration, education, and the local radio....

"The report also found that “religion” as a driving ideology for terrorism has jumped significantly in the last five years, and accounts for most of the terror activity in the Middle East and North Africa, South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa"

But don't you dare say violence in these countries has anything to do with Islam, you Islamophobe!

From CNS November 19 by Patrick Goodenough

4 Sunni Muslim Groups Responsible for 66% of All 17,958 Terror Killings in 2013
(CNSNews.com) – The number of people killed by terrorists worldwide in 2013 rose by 60 percent compared to the previous year – from 11,133 to 17,958 – with four Sunni Muslim extremist groups responsible for two-thirds of all fatalities, according to a comprehensive annual study.

Eighty-two percent of fatalities occurred in just five countries – Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria and Syria, although the number of countries that experienced more than 50 terror-related deaths also rose – to 24, compared with 15 the previous year.

Among the many findings in the new Global Terrorism Index, a project of the nonprofit Institute for Economics and Peace, is one that calls into question claims that poverty is a key driver of terrorism.

“One of the most important findings in this report is that there is not a strong statistical link between poverty and terrorism,” it says. “Many people who join terrorist groups in wealthy countries are well educated and come from middle class families.”

“Other measures which didn’t correlate include life expectancy, mean years of schooling and economic factors such as GDP growth.”

Socio-economic, governance and attitudinal variables that showed the most significant correlation with terrorism were political stability, intergroup cohesion and legitimacy of the state.

The report also found that “religion” as a driving ideology for terrorism has jumped significantly in the last five years, and accounts for most of the terror activity in the Middle East and North Africa, South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

As a driver for terrorist groups, religion far outstrips “politics,” which tends to dominate attacks in the Western Hemisphere and is responsible for about half of them in Europe; and “national separatist” ideology, which accounts for the vast majority of attacks in Russia and former Soviet Union areas, and about half of attacks in Europe and about one-third in the Asia-Pacific.

Jihad in Jerusalem synagogue

Four are murdered and others wounded and the world blames Israel.  Two jihadists stormed a synagogue, shouted "Allahu Akbar" (God is greater) while spraying bullet and slashing with cleavers.  Remember, this has nothing to do with Islam and to make that connection is "Islamophobic".  So says Obama other world leaders.

Three Americans Among Four Rabbis 'Slaughtered' in Jerusalem Synagogue

JERUSALEM — Two Palestinians stormed a Jerusalem synagogue, opening fire and using knives and axes to attack Jews praying inside, officials said Tuesday. Four rabbis were killed — including three dual U.S.-Israeli nationals — along with an Israeli policeman, and five other people wounded.

The attackers were later killed in a shootout with police. "Everybody was praying peacefully without any disruptions whatsoever and then all of a sudden the terrorists go into a place of worship and peace and turn it into a killing nightmare," Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told BBC Radio 4.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “Human beasts committed a massacre, and they came charged with hatred against the Jewish people and their state.”

Israeli police told NBC News that three of the dead were dual U.S.-Israeli citizens. Britain's Foreign Office confirmed the death of a dual U.K.-Israeli national. Police said the slain included Rabbi Moshe Twersky, the son of Boston-born Isadore Twersky who founded Harvard University's Center for Jewish Studies. Rabbi Cary Levine, Rabbi Avraham Goldberg and Rabbi Aryeh Kopinsky were also killed, according to an announcement made by the synagogue.

The slain policeman was identified as Zidan Saif, 30. He died later in the evening in a hospital from critical wounds sustained, said police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld.

Netanyahu vowed to "respond with a heavy hand to the brutal murder of Jews who came to pray and were met by reprehensible murderers." He later ordered the demolition of the attackers' homes although he did not confirm the names of the perpetrators.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the attack, the first time he has done so since a recent spike in deadly violence against Israelis. He also called for an end to Israeli "provocations" surrounding a contested holy site. Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri praised it and called for more bloodshed.

Netanyahu blamed the violence on incitement by Hamas and Abbas.

UC Berkeley students find Israel more offensive than ISIS

The propagandizing of young minds on college campuses today is complete: Israel is the enemy and the Islamic State is benign and not to be paid attention to.  How did we get to the point where those who behead in the name of their religion are given a back seat to the only democracy in the Middle East?

Muslims are the new "Negro" and Israel is the new "Master" and that must be the new norm.  It is not a political leaning thing, nor is it a mismatch of relativism and cultural identity, it is the renewed age-old hatred of Jews, spurred on by a campaign to make a common historical lie (Jews are evil) the main narrative.

Telling is how virulent the attacks against Israel are.  Not merely an angry critique of Israeli policy, the common meme was one of suggesting Israel and Jews fornicate themselves.  The hatred was palatable, and very uncomfortable.  One could almost imagine a physical attack by someone who's emotional attachment to hatred got the best of them.

This behavior is endemic on colleges across the US today, taught by ideologues to students ready and willing to be indoctrinated in whatever the professor spouts.

Breaking Report: 10 year plan to create the caliphate revealed

Whether Obama knew or not, the plan as laid out 10 years ago in "...an article published by Spiegel Online titled “The Future of Terrorism: What al-Qaeda Really Wants.” Written by Yassin Musharbash, the article was essentially a review of a book written by Fouad Hussein, a Jordanian journalist with close access to al-Qaeda and its affiliates...".  It could be safely assumed that Obama did know of the book and research but did not see it as any kind of threat.  Did BushII know of the book?  We will probably never know but it is likely, as with Obama that BushII was made aware of the situational aspects of it, and like Obama did not see it as a threat.

A good portion of this plan has already come to fruition, will anyone take seriously the remainder and change tactics accordingly to address the threat?  Most likely not, as it is still verboten to utter anything about Islam that does not comport with mainstream narrative.  To do so would, of course be Islamophobic.

From JihadWatch November 7 by Raymond Ibrahim

Raymond Ibrahim: Exposed: Decade-Old Plan to Create Islamic State—and Obama Helped

Although the birth of the Islamic state and the herald of the caliphate are often regarded as some of 2014’s “big shockers,” they were foretold in striking detail and with an accurate timeline by an al-Qaeda insider nearly one decade ago.

On August 12, 2005, Spiegel Online International published an article titled “The Future of Terrorism: What al-Qaeda Really Wants.” Written by Yassin Musharbash, the article was essentially a review of a book written by Fouad Hussein, a Jordanian journalist with close access to al-Qaeda and its affiliates, including the late Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who pioneered the videotaping of beheadings “to strike terror into the hearts” of infidels (Koran 3:151).

As Hussein explained in the introduction of his book Al Zarqawi: Al Qaeda’s Second Generation: “I interviewed a whole range of al-Qaeda members with different ideologies to get an idea of how the war between the terrorists and Washington would develop in the future.”

And in fact the book details the master plan of al-Qaeda—in its “second generation” manifestation known as the “Islamic State” which follows much of Zarqawi’s modus operandi—to resurrect a caliphate. This plan is sufficiently outlandish that Yassin Musharbash, the author of the Spiegel article reviewing Hussein’s book, repeatedly casts doubt on its feasibility. Thus al-Qaeda’s plan is “proof both of the terrorists’ blindness as well as their brutal single-mindedness”; there is “no way” al-Qaeda can follow the plan “step by step”; “the idea that al-Qaeda could set up a caliphate in the entire Islamic world is absurd”; and the following “scenario should be judged skeptically.”

Yet it is all the more remarkable that much of this plan—especially those phases dismissed as infeasible by Musharbash (four and five)—have come to pass.

In what follows, I reproduce the seven phases of al-Qaeda’s master plan as presented in Musharbash’s nearly ten-year-old article (in bullet points and italics, bold for emphasis), with my commentary interspersed for context. Phases four and five are of particular importance as they describe the goals for recent times, much of which have come to fruition according to plan.

An Islamic Caliphate in Seven Easy Steps
The First Phase Known as “the awakening”—this has already been carried out and was supposed to have lasted from 2000 to 2003, or more precisely from the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York and Washington to the fall of Baghdad in 2003. The aim of the attacks of 9/11 was to provoke the US into declaring war on the Islamic world and thereby“awakening” Muslims. “The first phase was judged by the strategists and masterminds behind al-Qaeda as very successful,” writes Hussein. “The battle field was opened up and the Americans and their allies became a closer and easier target.” The terrorist network is also reported as being satisfied that its message can now be heard “everywhere.”

Much of this is accurate and makes sense. Sadly, if any eyes were opened after the 9/11 attacks on American soil, they weren’t Western eyes—certainly not the eyes of Western leadership, mainstream media, and academia. But to many Muslims, the strikes of 9/11 were inspiring and motivating, giving credence to Osama bin Laden’s characterization of America as a “paper tiger.” A few years after the Islamic strikes of 9/11, Americans responded by electing a man with a Muslim name and heritage for president, even as he continuously empowers in a myriad of ways—including banning knowledge of Islam—the same ideology behind the strikes of 9/11. Meanwhile, the average Muslim relearned the truths of their religion, namely that the “infidel” is an existential enemy and jihad against him is a duty, as al-Qaeda and others had successfully shown.
The Second Phase “Opening Eyes” is, according to Hussein’s definition, the period we are now in [writing in 2005] and should last until 2006. Hussein says the terrorists hope to make the western conspiracy aware of the “Islamic community.” Hussein believes this is a phase in which al-Qaeda wants an organization to develop into a movement. The network is banking on recruiting young men during this period. Iraq should become the center for all global operations, with an “army” set up there and bases established in other Arabic states.

This too is accurate. Among other things, the “Islamic community,” the umma, began to be more visible and vocal during this time frame, including through a rash of attacks and riots following any perceived “insult” to Islam, growing demands for appeasement, and accusations of “Islamophobia” against all and sundry. If there weren’t any spectacular terror attacks on the level of 9/11, young Muslim men were quietly enlisting and training in the jihad—or in western parlance, “radicalizing.” Al-Qaeda went from being an “organization” to a “movement”—international “radicalization.” Most importantly, Iraq, as the world now knows, certainly did become the “center for all global operations” with an “army” of jihadis set up there.
The Third Phase This is described as “Arising and Standing Up” and should last from 2007 to 2010.“There will be a focus on Syria,” prophesies Hussein, based on what his sources told him. The fighting cadres are supposedly already prepared and some are in Iraq. Attacks on Turkey and—even more explosive— in Israel are predicted. Al-Qaeda’s masterminds hope that attacks on Israel will help the terrorist group become a recognized organization. The author also believes that countries neighboring Iraq, such as Jordan, are also in danger.

Much of this third phase as described and transpired seems to have been an extension of phase two. In retrospect, there certainly appears to have been a focus on Syria, even if the jihad started there one year behind schedule (2011). And many of the jihadis were “already prepared” and “some are in Iraq.” None of this was a surprise, of course, as U.S. intelligence always indicated that if American forces withdrew from Iraq, the jihadis would take over.

British jihadist preacher Anjem Choudary wants to leave England and live under sharia with the Islamic State caliphate H

The British Home Office has confiscated his passport so he cannot leave.  One would think that it would be better for England to send him packing, why are they keeping him?  Let him go and then prohibit his return.  Maybe he would end up a victim of Western airstrikes.  That would be a good thing.

From Breitbart November 7 by Donna Rachel Edmunds

EXTREMIST CLERIC: GIVE ME MY PASSPORT AND LET ME JOIN ISIS
The extremist Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary has said that the British government should return his passport and grant him safe passage to Syria, so that he can see what life is like under Sharia law, The Times has reported. He confirmed that he would also consider renouncing his British citizenship if allowed to travel abroad.

London-born Choudary has gained a name for himself through his controversial media appearances in which he has espoused his support for public executions of those who insult the Prophet Mohammed, cutting the hands off convicted thieves, and the implementation of Sharia law in the UK.

In September Choudary, who has founded ten groups which have been banned under anti-terrorism laws, was arrested on suspicion of belonging to a proscribed group. He was released on bail under strict conditions, which included forfeiting his passport to the authorities.

He continues to deny any wrongdoing, and has now told the Times that he should have his passport handed back. "I believe the world belongs to God and that one day, hopefully, the UK will be part of an Islamic State. Why shouldn’t I be free to travel to the khilafah [caliphate] and see what life is like under the Sharia?" he said.

"The passport . . . is a basic human right and I don’t see why I should have to give it up or have my movement restricted. I want to know from the Home Office and the crown prosecution service if it is illegal for me to travel to live in the Islamic State if I have no intention of carrying out acts of terrorism."

He also maintains that the timing of his arrest, and that of seven others, was politically motivated and intended to silence them, coming as it did the night before a Parliamentary vote on military intervention in Iraq.

Choudary has denied being in contact with anyone within the so-called Islamic State, but has called upon the Crown Prosecution Service to “make themselves clear” as to whether people who travel to Iraq and Syria leave themselves open to prosecution, claiming the right to safe passage.

It is not a view supported by the Commons home affairs select committee chairman Keith Vaz, who said: “If he wants to go, he should be allowed to go. I think that would be a much better scenario than having him stay.

There have been three car attacks in Israel in as many weeks, with numerous dead and many wounded  It appears jihadists are taking Abbas' advice to heart.  But remember, this has nothing to do with Islam and everything to do with the evil "occupation" by the Jews of Palestine.

"The people killed by Islamic State are American agents. We must behead them as Allah said in the Koran"

A 13-year-old boy who wishes to be named 'Abu Hattab' stands in a forest holding a weapon

We could play "Who Said That" and see if we can guess who might have uttered these words but the problem would be that just about anyone of recent or past note could have spoken it.  What makes this particular utterance more insidious is that it comes from a 13 year old boy.

In the interview and article linked below, you will read a chilling account that embodies what pure Islam is all about.  We see it as child abuse, they see it as the duty of waging jihad.  Until Muslims world-wide stand as one voice and condemn, through doctrinal means how the Islamic State interprets the Qur'an and the hadiths of Muhammad incorrectly, we will see more of these children dying for Allah.

Islamic State crisis: The 13-year-old on 'righteous path'

In a cramped living room in southern Turkey, a 13-year-old boy is training to join Islamic State.

As he welcomes us in, he appears a regular, happy-looking child: his hair is ruffled, his smile beaming, he wears a grey, hooded sweater.

But as we sit down to talk, he heads next door to change, returning in a black balaclava and military-style camouflage top.

He wants to be known as "Abu Hattab".

Born in Syria, he was first radicalised last year, joining the jihadist group Sham al-Islam.'Behead them'

He had Sharia lessons and learned how to use weapons, proudly showing us pictures in which he takes aim with machine guns.

Now he spends his days online, watching jihadist videos and chatting on Facebook to IS fighters.

Within weeks, he says, he'll go to the IS stronghold of Raqqa in Syria to become a young jihadi soldier.

"I like Islamic State because they pursue Sharia and kill infidels, non-Sunnis and those who converted from Islam," he says.

"The people killed by Islamic State are American agents. We must behead them as Allah said in the Koran."

I ask whether he has disclosed his age to those to whom he talks online.

"At the start, I didn't," he says.

"But recently I told them - and now they contact me even more, sending me photos and news."

But why not simply enjoy his childhood, I ask?

"I don't want to go out with friends or have fun. Allah ordered us to work and fight for the next life - for paradise. Before, I went to the park or the seaside.

"But then I realised I was wrong - and I've taken the righteous path."
