Jihadists in the West; as rare as hens teeth?

No, not really.  If this article is correct there are many Western jihadists joining the global battle for a new caliphate, with the current battleground being Syria.  I cannot help but wonder if Obama has read this, or does he just not care that he is supporting those who want us dead.

Worries Mount as Syria Lures West’s Muslims
WASHINGTON — A rising number of radicalized young Muslims with Western passports are traveling to Syria to fight with the rebels against the government of Bashar al-Assad, raising fears among American and European intelligence officials of a new terrorist threat when the fighters return home.
More Westerners are now fighting in Syria than fought in conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia or Yemen, according to the officials. They go to Syria motivated by the desire to help the people suffering there by overthrowing Mr. Assad. But there is growing concern that they will come back with a burst of jihadist zeal, some semblance of military discipline, enhanced weapons and explosives skills, and, in the worst case, orders from affiliates of Al Qaeda to carry out terrorist strikes.

“Syria has become really the predominant jihadist battlefield in the world,” Matthew G. Olsen, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, told a security conference in Aspen, Colo., this month. He added, “The concern going forward from a threat perspective is there are individuals traveling to Syria, becoming further radicalized, becoming trained and then returning as part of really a global jihadist movement to Western Europe and, potentially, to the United States.”

Classified estimates from Western intelligence services and unclassified assessments from government and independent experts put the number of fighters from Europe, North America and Australia who have entered Syria since 2011 at more than 600. That represents about 10 percent of the roughly 6,000 foreign fighters who have poured into Syria by way of the Middle East and North Africa.

Most of the Westerners are self-radicalized and are traveling on their own initiative to Turkey, where rebel facilitators often link them up with specific groups, terrorism experts say. Many have joined ranks with the Qaeda-aligned Nusra Front, which American officials have designated as a terrorist group.

“The scale of this is completely different from what we’ve experienced in the past,” Gilles de Kerchove, the European Union’s counterterrorism coordinator, said at the conference in Aspen.

So far, terrorism experts say, there have been no documented terrorist plots linked to European or other Western fighters returning from Syria, but France’s interior minister, Manuel Valls, recently called the threat “a ticking time bomb.” Security services across Europe are stepping up their surveillance efforts and seeking ways to make it more difficult for people suspected of being jihadists to travel to Syria.

European and other Western intelligence agencies are rushing to work together to track the individuals seeking to cross the border into Syria from Turkey, though several American officials expressed frustration that Turkey is not taking more aggressive steps to stem the flow of Europeans going to fight in Syria.

Accused Fort Hood shooter releases statement to Fox News

EXCLUSIVE: Acting as his own attorney, accused Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan has released a statement to Fox News claiming that the U.S. military is at war with his religion.

However, he does not directly address the shooting at the Texas Army Base in November 2009 that killed 13 and injured more than 30 others.

“My complicity was on behalf of a government that openly acknowledges that it would hate for the law of Almighty Allah to be the supreme law of the land," the 42-year-old Army psychiatrist said. Hasan then apparently asked if this was a war on Islam. "You bet it is," he said. "I participated in it.”

The statement, which begins “In the name of Almighty Allah, the most gracious and the most merciful, my name is Nidal Hasan, Major Nidal Hasan, and I would like to convey a message to the world,” runs more than six pages.

Hasan also says he regrets his years in the Army, claiming that his service was inconsistent with his religious beliefs. “I would like to begin by repenting to Almighty Allah and apologize to the (Mujahideen), the believers, and the innocent. I ask for their forgiveness and their prayers. I ask for their forgiveness for participating in the illegal and immoral aggression against Muslims, their religion and their lands,” he said.

Hasan also criticized U.S. policy in the Middle East toward the Palestinians.

Camp Jihad for kids in the West Bank

We are feeding the alligator in the belief we can stave off the inevitable meal we will surely become.

Paying our enemies never turns out well.  Our tax dollars are being used to inculcate children to hate Jews, Israel and the US yet no one cares.  We are creating the very people that we claim we are fighting against and will have to fight in the coming years.

Two States? Not at "Camp Jihad"

As Israel and the Palestinian Authority prepare to renew their negotiations for “peace” under U.S. mediation, a short but powerful documentary about UNRWA children's camps shows just what kind of "solution" the Palestinian Authority and many of its citizens have in mind.

The film is made up almost exclusively of interviews with children and instructors at UNRWA camps.

In one part, campers are encouraged to chant:

"With God's help and our own strength we will wage war. And with education and jihad we will return!"

At another point, a camp instructor brands Jews as "wolves."

The camps are mainly financed by the U.S. and other western countries including the UK, Canada and the EU, and the documentary raises serious questions about how and why western funds are being used to inculcate Arab children with a virulently militant brand of antisemitism.


"Camp Jihad" was produced by the Nahum Bedein Center for Near East Policy Research.

Hamas calls for the death of Jews and the destruction of Israel in their charter.  Helen Thomas famously said that the Jews should get the hell out of Palestine and go back to Poland, or wherever they came from.  No wonder Hamas praises her in death.  They love death, they kill their own children they love death so much.

Hamas Mourns Helen Thomas

It might not be the way most high-profile journalists would like to be remembered.

Not long after the passing of veteran American journalist Helen Thomasyesterday, aged 92, Hamas' very own "military wing", the Izzedeene al-Qassam Brigades, posted on its website a heartfelt eulogy.

The post - highlighted by the Elder of Zion blog - was entitled: "Rest in Peace Helen Thomas. We respect you for taking a stand."

Thomas has been eulogized by many - including the US President - as a trailblazer for female journalists, being the first woman to join the White House Correspondents' Association, and the first woman to serve as its president. She was also the first female member of the Gridiron Club, Washington's historic press group.

And all that is true and a positive thing, yet it cannot dilute or diminish what her real beliefs on Jews were;

Swedish woman arrested and jailed in Dubai for being raped now free

Islamic law says a woman needs four witnesses or the confession of the rapist to be cleared of wrongdoing.  In this case, international pressure gave her back her passport and a dismissal of the charges.

A win for women's rights in Islamic countries but it will not cause a seachange in behavior or the sharia law regarding women.  This is an example which, unfortunately will fade into the background and more women will suffer the fate Marte Dalelv escaped from.  She is lucky, most Muslim women in Islamic countries are not.

Dubai pardons woman at center of rape dispute

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) - A Norwegian woman at the center of a Dubai rape claim dispute said Sunday that officials have dropped her 16-month sentence for having sex outside marriage and she is free to leave the country.

"I am very, very happy," Marte Deborah Dalelv told The Associated Press. "I am overjoyed."

The sentence against the 24-year-old Dalelv last week stirred widespread outrage in the West and highlighted the frequent clash between Dubai's Western-friendly image and its Islamic-based legal codes.

Dalelv claimed she was raped in March by a co-worker, but was charged with having sex outside marriage after going to the police. Her decision to go public about the sentence last week in a series of interviews appeared to put pressure on authorities in Dubai and tarnish the city's reputation as a cosmopolitan hub, including possible fallout on its high-profile bid for the 2020 World Expo.

"I have my passport back. I am pardoned," said Dalelv, who worked for an interior design firm in Qatar and was in Dubai for a business meeting when the alleged rape took place.

There was no immediate word from Dubai officials, including whether the pardon was linked to traditions of clemency during the current Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

It also was unclear whether authorities would keep the 13-month sentence against Dalelv's alleged attacker, identified as a 33-year-old Sudanese man who was charged with consuming alcohol and sex outside marriage. While liquor is widely available in Dubai hotels and restaurants, public intoxication can bring serious charges.

"I have my life back," said Dalelv. "This is a great day."

Asari Dokubo Defends Under-aged Marriage Law In Nigeria… “We Muslims Can Marry Girls Of Any Age”. A prominent Niger Delta Muslim, Alhaji Mujahid Abubakar Dokubo-Asari, has lashed out at critics of the moves by Nigeria’s Senate to approve under-age marriage.
Expressing his opinion on the issue this morning, Dokubo, who converted to Islam as an adult, insisted that it is the right of Muslims to marry or give out their daughters at any age they wish, adding that this is not the business of non-Muslims.

Said the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF) leader through Facebook:

“People should learn to respect other people’s sensibilities…We Muslims have the right to marry when we want or give out our daughters at any age we want. It is not your business and the law must respect our right to do so. Anything short of that is an infringement on our rights. We did not ask you to marry ladies of that age or give your daughters out in marriage at that age. Plzzzzzzzz respect our sensibilities.”

The Nigerian Senate has come under fire from outraged Nigerians and the international community after being convinced by Senator Ahmad Yarima to drop a constitutional amendment outlawing marriage to girls under 18. The former Zamfara State governor who once came under fire for marrying a girl believed to be aged 13 had argued that Islam recognises under-age marriage.

House Intelligence Committee approves sending weapons to Syrian rebels

It looks like a done deal now.  With House approval there is little standing in the way of the US arming the jihadists.  The fruits of our unwillingness to identify the real enemy are being eaten with no guilt and the ultimate victim will be global security.

Thank you Obama.  You may not be a Muslim but you continue to show you are acting like one.

U.S. Congressional Hurdles Lifted on Arming Syrian Rebels

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama should be able to go ahead with a plan to arm the Syrian rebels after some congressional concerns were eased, the chairman of the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee said on Monday.

“We believe we are in a position that the administration can move forward,” Rep. Mike Rogers, a Republican, told Reuters.

Both Republicans and Democrats on the House and Senate intelligence committees had expressed worries about whether the administration’s plan would succeed, delaying weapons deliveries to the Syrian opposition.

The White House announced in June that it would offer military aid to vetted groups of Syrian rebels after two years of balking at directly sending arms to the opposition in the civil war.

But lawmakers held up the project, complaining that the plan might not tip the balance in Syria in favor of forces fighting President Bashar al-Assad, and that weapons could end up in the hands of Islamist militants.

Last week, a senior administration official said that members of the Senate Intelligence Committee who had questioned the wisdom of arming the insurgents had tentatively agreed that the administration could go ahead with its plans, but sought updates as the covert effort proceeded.

Now, the House has given at least a cautious go-ahead....

Oh the horror! Israel tries to drown "Palestinian" kids in Gaza...wait, what?



The worlds largest concentration camp (courtesy those evil Jews) in April of this year opened their first water-themed park for kids called the "Dolphin Resort Park" in Gaza City.

What were they thinking?  Kids can drown...or get a water-borne disease...or have to deal with the dreaded "floating dookie"  I mean, how much more dastardly can those Jews get?  Giving innocent kids a place to play instead of blowing them up (as Hamas has done) is just inhuman!

Sharia in the OK: schoolboy denied water because it would "offend Muslims" during Ramadan

The death of the great British Lion is upon us.  Now it is more important to not offend Muslims than it is to make sure young kids have water to drink when they get thirsty.

Disgusting.  If you think this will never happen here in the US, think again.

An angry mother has accused a primary school of denying her child water on one of the hottest days of the year for fear of upsetting pupils observing Ramadan.
Kora Blagden, 32, claimed a teacher at her son Luke’s school refused to let the 10-year old drink from his water bottle because it was unfair to fasting classmates.
Many pupils at Charles Dickens Primary School, Portsmouth, Hampshire, are fasting during Ramadan, which means they refrain from taking food or water between sunrise and sunset for around 30 days, depending on the moon.
Mother-of-four Kora said: 'Just before bedtime me and my sons Luke, ten, and Alfie, eight, were talking about Ramadan as we had seen it on the news.
'Luke said to me he was told he wasn’t allowed to drink in class by his teacher.
'The reason being, a child who is fasting had a headache and the teacher said it would be unfair if the other children drank in front of the pupil.
'They normally have their bottles on their table but they were kept in a tray by the teacher.

'He went along with it but he was thirsty and didn’t want to offend the other children.
'Alfie said he was allowed to drink in the morning but not in the afternoon.

'Luke was dehydrated when he got home and drunk three glasses of water straight away.'
The teacher made the ruling on Thursday when temperatures soared to 28C.
Ms Blagden confronted deputy head Lisa Florence before lessons began today and was given a verbal apology for the incident.
She said: 'I spoke to the deputy head and told them what Luke had said to me and I asked why this was allowed.
'She said it wasn’t fair my son was refused a drink in lesson and therefore drank nothing in lesson time all day.
'She said they will be speaking with Luke and the teacher, and stated she was sorry my children felt they could not drink.
'The deputy head said it was not what they had been told to do and it is only what children of Muslim faith do.
'I have no problem with that but I don’t wish my sons to be told they can’t drink water.
'Personally I think it is very wrong.'

Paul McCartney: They Threatened to Kill Me if I Played in Israel

When rock legend Paul McCartney came to Israel in 2008, he was, at least to some extent, taking his life in his hands. Not because of Israel's sometimes precarious security situation, but because he was threatened by BDS (boycott, divest, and sanction) anti-Israel groups. “I got death threats, but I'm coming anyway,” the singer was quoted as saying by Jerusalem Center for Public Affairsresearcher Adam Shay.

“I got explicit death threats, but I have no intention of surrendering. I refuse to cancel my performances in Israel,” Shay quoted McCartney as saying.

The former Beatle is not alone.

Dozens of other artists who schedule dates in Israel are lobbied, bullied, threatened, and even attacked at concerts by anti-Israel groups who are bent on isolating Israel culturally, as well as economically. Many artists, said Shay, claimed that their web sites have been attacked by hackers right before their Israeli concerts.

Alicia Keys, who recently played a concert here last week, supplies the latest example of intimidation faced by artists who play Israel. Several of her fellow singers – notably Elvis Costello and Roger Waters – urged her to cancel, calling Israel an “apartheid state,” and Keys' Facebook page was littered with condemnations of her on the day of the concert. Costello himself cancelled a concert in Israel in 2010, as did Carlos Santana, after being hectored by anti-Israel groups. Other notables who have cancelled planned concerts in Israel are Jon Bon Jovi, the Yardbirds, Joe Lynn Turner, and the Pixies. Spanish singer Paco Ibanez went one better, telling a French newspaper that he is boycotting the Hebrew language, which he can speak, for political reasons.
But despite the pressure and threats, there are many artists who continue to play Israel. In the past month, rock bands Deep Purple and the Pet Shop Boys have held concerts in Israel, and American artist Rihanna is scheduled to take her second tour here in October. And of course, there was Madonna.

Many of these artists, Shay said, decided to perform in Israel despite the threats. “When singer Moby was interviewed on Army Radio shortly before he performed in Israel, he said that the intensity of the attacks against him before he came to Israel made him suspect that this wasn't an objective movement that was concerned with people's welfare, but with something dark and dubious.” Unfortunately, though, “most artists just don't want to deal with it. It's much easier for them to release a statement that they won't be appearing in Israel 'for reasons of conscience' rather than to say their lives are being threatened and they're frightened.”

So says the beard.  Nidal Hasan said it, yet no one will change their stance and agree that Islam is the problem here.  I see that as an insult to Hasan as well as a refusal to see what the truth is.

Fort Hood Gunman Says Uniform “Represents An Enemy of Islam”

FORT HOOD (July 9, 2013)—During a brief final pretrial hearing Tuesday, military judge Col. Tara Osborn ordered Fort Hood gunman Maj. Nidal Hasan to wear his uniform during his court-martial and admonished him for releasing sealed information to the media.

Hasan told the judge Tuesday he took no pride in his uniform, but Osborn said he would be forced, if necessary, to wear it during the court-martial.

Ordinarily a military defendant would appear in full dress uniform, but for medical reasons Hasan is being permitted wear looser-fitting ACUs, short for Army combat uniform.

"I can't take any pride in wearing this uniform, it represents an enemy of Islam," Hasan said.

"I'm being forced to wear this uniform,” he said.

Osborn admonished Hasan Tuesday for releasing to a local newspaper a memo on his proposal to mount a “defense of others” strategy that Osborn had ordered sealed.

"Did you release this to media?" Osborn asked.

"Yes. I gave permission for it to be released,” Hasan responded.

"That order was for your protection," Osborn said.

"Since you've released it, the government now knows what it says," she said.

"It was sealed to protect you, you violated a court order so I am (now) unsealing it," Osborn said.

Osborn told Hasan he must follow the rules and that if he doesn’t the failure could jeopardize his plan to represent himself.

Osborn earlier rejected the strategy detailed in the memo in which Hasan would have argued that he shot U.S. troops because they posed an immediate threat to Taliban leaders in Afghanistan.

Hasan apparently won’t accept an offer of assistance from former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark, with whom he met over the weekend and on Monday.

Clark had said he might step in when testimony begins in August, however, but Hasan told the judge Tuesday that he won’t need Clark’s assistance unless he’s allowed to pursue the “defense of others” strategy.

"If the court allows me to use the defense of thirds, I will use Clark," Hasan said.

"Otherwise I will be continuing to represent myself," he said.

Exposed: Final Conversation Between Morsi and Sisi
On July 5, El Watan (“the nation”), one of Egypt’s most popular newspapers, published the final dialogue between General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Dr. Muhammad Morsi, which took place on Tuesday July 2, a few hours before Morsi’s final speech to the Egyptian people. A reporter who was taken to an adjacent room was allowed to witness and transcribe their conversation from a TV screen. I translate the entire speech as it appears on El Watan below:
Morsi: What’s the military’s position concerning what’s going on? Is it just going to stand by watching? Shouldn’t it protect the legitimacy?

Sisi: What legitimacy? The entire army is with the will of the people, and the overwhelming majority of people, according to documented reports, don’t want you.

Morsi: My supporters are many and they won’t be silent.

Sisi: The army will not allow anyone to destroy the nation, no matter what happens.

Morsi: What if I don’t want to leave?

Sisi: The matter is settled and no longer up to you. Try to leave with your dignity and tell those whom you call supporters to go back to their homes in order to prevent bloodshed, instead of threatening the people through them.

Morsi: But this way it will be a military coup, and America won’t leave you alone.

Sisi: The people concern us, not America. And since you’ve started to talk this way, I’ll talk to you candidly. We have evidence to condemn you and to condemn many governmental officials of compromising Egypt’s national security. The judiciary will have its say and you will all be judged before the whole people.

Morsi: Okay, can you permit me to make a few phone calls and then afterwards I’ll decide on what to do?

Sisi: You are not permitted; but we can let you check up on your family only.

Morsi: Am I imprisoned or what?

Sisi: You are under arrest from this moment.

Morsi: Don’t think the Brotherhood is going to stand by if I leave office. They will set the world on fire.

Sisi: Just let them try something and you’ll see the reaction of the army. Whoever among them wants to live in peace, he’s more than welcome; otherwise, [if they try anything] we will not leave them alone. We will not single anyone out, and the Brotherhood is from the Egyptian people, so don’t try to use them as fuel for your disgusting war...

US ambassador to Egypt tells Coptic Christians not to oppose the Muslim Brotherhood

Strongarming those who are most at risk from the Muslim Brotherhood, Anne Patterson lets it be known the US wants the MB in power, and the will of the people be damned.  She is not speaking randomly, she represents the foreign policy of the Obama administration.

Will she support continued military and financial support for Egypt if the MB does not resume power?  We shall see.

Evidence that the Obama administration is unhappy with the Egyptian people’s liberation from Muslim Brotherhood rule continues to emerge. 

 As reported today by Youm 7, according to Muhammad Heikal — “the Arab world’s most respected political commentator” and for some 50 years a political insider — soon after the overthrow of Morsi, U.S. ambassador Anne Patterson assured Hisham Qandil, who hours ago was Egypt’s Prime Minister, that “there are many forms of pressure, and America holds the keys to the Gulf.”
Such blatantly pro-Muslim Brotherhood assurances by Patterson are consistent with many of her other actions in Egypt, which have led most Egyptians, including politicians and activists, to refer to her as a Brotherhood stooge.

House intelligence panel cuts off aid to Syrian rebels, Administration end runs and decides to send aid anyway

As I have pointed out numerous times here; Obama may not be a Muslim but he sure is acting like one.

Usurping the will of a congressional panel, especially one that is charged with the security of America is nothing if not sedition.  For Obama to decide that the jihadist rebels deserve our aid despite the ruling of the intelligence panel may be legal but it is unethical, immoral and against the security requirements of the American people; you know, the ones that elected him.

Intelligence panels cut off aid to Syrian rebels by restricting funds

House and Senate Intelligence panel members have voted to block President Obama from arming Syrian rebels, committee insiders told The Hill. They did so by placing severe restrictions on funding.

Lawmakers made their decision last month for fear that the administration plan would let weapons fall into the hands of terrorist groups, such as the many linked to al Qaeda.
The exact nature of the restrictions is unknown because the committees voted privately on the basis of classified information. What is known is that the restrictions are sufficient to prevent the administration from delivering arms as planned, according to a source familiar with the actions.
The committee “voted to allow them to make some movement on this, but it’s restricted,” said one Senate panel insider, who declined to elaborate on the total aid or the restrictions added by the Intelligence panels, which both met again on Tuesday. “It was a very restrictive amount.”

Administration officials stopped shy of saying that the efforts had thwarted the effort to arm rebel groups, but said it certainly didn’t make it easier.

“They’re raising a lot of questions without having alternative answers,” said one senior administration official.

“Whatever we do, we have to make sure we do it right,” Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-Md.), the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, said Tuesday.

(.)“In keeping with the president’s announcement of our stepped-up assistance to the [Syrian opposition’s] Supreme Military Council, we are going to consult with Congress on these matters, and we intend to provide that stepped-up assistance,” Carney said at Tuesday’s White House briefing. “We were not bluffing. Appearance in court of Boston jihadist Dzhokhar Tsarnaev brings out his supporters

In court and in living color


America; what a country.  The man who admitted to the bombing and wrote on the walls of the boat he was hiding in his hatred for American and the reasons for his actions, and (un)surprisingly they were based in Islam, has his groupies.  The disconnect these people have is stunning; rejection of overwhelming evidence and fact and a belief in conspiracies and emotion.

He is a jihad murderer, a Muslim who carried out the dictates of Muhammad per the Qur'an.

Those who support him as innocent are to be watched; they are the dangerous ones.

‘Free Jahar’ Chant As Boston Bombing Suspect Heads To Court

BOSTON (CBS/AP) – A small group of demonstrators showed up at Moakley Federal Courthouse in South Boston on Wednesday to show support for Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Tsarnaev appeared in court for his first public hearing. He has been charged with using a weapon of mass destruction in the bombings that killed three people and wounded more than 260.

A group of about a dozen supporters cheered as the motorcade carrying Tsarnaev arrived at the courthouse. The demonstrators yelled “Justice for Jahar,” as Tsarnaev is known. One woman held a sign that said, “Free Jahar.”

Others held signs claiming Tsarnaev’s innocence, while suggesting elaborate conspiracies surrounding the bombing and Tsarnaev’s arrest.

“I’m here to show Dzhokhar support, to let him know there are thousands of people worldwide that do believe his innocence,” Mary Churback of Freetown told WBZ-TV news.

Lacey Buckley, 23, said she traveled from her home in Wenatchee, Wash., to attend the arraignment. Buckley said she has never met Tsarnaev but came because she believes he’s innocent. “I just think so many of his rights were violated. They almost murdered an unarmed kid in a boat,” she said.

As opposed to those who were MURDERED by this "kid"  Not almost, but for real...forever.

Jihadists in India attack and bomb the temple complex where Buddha attained enlightenment

Gone now thanks to Islam


Never the ones to be shy about attacking that which is un-Islamic, jihadists have set their sites on the holiest place for Buddhists, the tree and temple complex where the Buddha gained enlightenment.

It is incumbent upon Muslims to wipe out any non-Muslim entity as they threaten the expansion and conquest of the non-Muslim world.  Buddhists are a hindrance to the new global caliphate and as such are to be destroyed ahead of the advancing doctrine.

Wiping from the face of the earth the spot where, under the Bodhi tree the Buddha attained true enlightenment would further the Islamic agenda as almost nothing else could.  Don't think the Buddha statues at Bamiyan were just a fluke; the systematic destruction of non-Islamic objects will continue.

Terror strikes Bodh Gaya, serial blasts rock Mahabodhi Temple
GAYA: Terror struck the temple town of Bodh Gaya in Bihar, as nine serial explosions rocked the Mahabodhi Temple complex on Sunday morning.

Two tourists, including a monk from Myanmar, have been injured in the blasts. The injured are being treated at the Anugrah Narain Magadh Medical College hospital.

Union home secretary Anil Goswami confirmed that the Bodh Gaya blasts were a terror attack.

Bihar Police suspect the involvement of Indian Mujahideen in the temple blasts.
(...)"In the first blast which took place near the Bodhi tree, a table was blown up because of which two persons were injured. The second blast, I think, was inside the enclosure where books were kept. The furniture was damaged but there was no damage to the monuments or statues," he said. 
Asked about the nature of explosives used, S K Bharadwaj, ADG (Law and Order) said they were low intensity time bombs.

He said, "We got information about six-seven months back that there may be a terror attack on the Mahabodhi temple. After that we had beefed up secuirty and deployed extra forces".

Bodh Gaya Buddhist temple, around 10 km from Gaya and 100 km from capital Patna, is world famous. Lord Buddha had attained enlightenment here under the Mahabodhi tree in the temple premises.

Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama makes frequent trips to Bodh Gaya and Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa had visited it six months back. A total of 52 countries have established their monasteries here.

The Muslim Brotherhood unleashed

Here we go.  Now that Morsi has been "removed" from office by the military due to political pressure from the people, there is nothing to stand in the way of the Muslim Brotherhood seriously flexing their muscle in order to sow chaos and division between the majority of Egyptians who want a "secular" Egypt and those who will do anything to impose the sharia and bring Egypt back into the 7th century.

The Arab Spring  fooled almost no one, it was the gullible and the leftists who were most easily led.  Our dear leader believed in Morsi, and was the first person to call him and congratulate him on his victory.  Pledging everlasting support, the time now will be taken up with trying to figure out how to circle the wagons and assuage the guilt and shame (if he has any) by blaming someone...anyone but himself.

The fruits of Obama's labor are now being seen in the rampage against Morsi protesters, Christians and anyone seen as against the MB and their sharia-driven agenda.  Morsi claimed, after the election that he was no longer a member of the MB, yet the blind anger against the Morsi protesters from the MB is a pretty good indicator that his words carried little weight.

The Muslim Brotherhood is now engaging in the next wave of terror, intimidation, mayhem and slaughter, all in the name of Islamic purity.  They stand a pretty good chance of instigating a country-wide civil war which benefits no one except those jihadists who would build a new caliphate from the ashes.

The following articles vividly illustrate the seriousness of the near future, and how the MB, despite the White House claims that they are moderate and have eschewed violence have not, nor will ever give up murder and chaos in the name of Muhammad and Allah.  If it's in the Qur'an it is to be followed.

We are in for a passle of trouble, all out civil war could break out at any moment.  The military will be the deciding factor, they will keep peace but don't want the challenges of a political position.  That places them as the final decider in all this based in what is best for the people, as per their wishes.

Cairo residents: ‘Heavily armed Islamists attacked us’
Residents of Cairo’s Manial neighborhood were recovering Saturday from a bloody night of clashes with armed supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood who killed at least seven people and left dozens injured, they told AFP.

The violence erupted when residents tried to stop hundreds of Islamists passing through Manial to reach protests being staged in the iconic Tahrir Square against toppled president Mohammed Mursi, who hails from the Muslim Brotherhood.

“The Brotherhood attacked the area with all kinds of weapons,” said resident Mohammed Yehya, who lost three of his friends in the mayhem.

Inhabitants of the Nile island of Manial reported seeing dozens of bearded Islamists armed with machineguns, machetes and sticks on Friday night before the deadly clashes broke out.

Snipers were spotted on rooftops, and medics told AFP they treated some residents of the normally quiet middle-class neighborhood for bullet wounds with a downward trajectory.

Buildings were pockmarked with bullet holes. Rocks carpeted the floor and charred tyres showed the ferocity of the violence.

The clashes in Manial and other parts of the country came two days after the army toppled Mursi, underlining the determination of his Muslim Brotherhood to disrupt the military’s plan for a political transition until new elections.

Residents say the attack began just minutes after the Brotherhood’s supreme guide, Mohammed Badie, gave a fiery speech to Mursi supporters camped out in Cairo’s Nasr City, which was broadcast live on television.

“The attack came minutes after Badie’s speech. They treated us like infidels. They were chanting ‘Allahu akbar’ (God is greatest) as they were shooting us,” said Ahmed Fattouh.

On the door of one shop hung a sign announcing that the owner, 26-year-old Abdallah Sayyed Abdelazim, had been killed.

Parts of Manial were a ghost town on Saturday, with businesses shuttered and residents devastated by the night’s violence.

“The clashes started at 7:30 pm and continued until three in the morning. Their ammunition just didn’t run out. They are trying to terrorize us and take over the country,” said Khaled Tawfik.

Shopkeeper Mohammed Fekry, 29, who was wounded by birdshot said at least 10 people were killed and dozens injured.

“We have 10 people dead in this area, including six people who died with single bullets in the head. There were snipers on the roof of the Salaheddine mosque...

Clashes in Luxor leave four Copts dead, 32 injured

Violence broke out in Luxor on Friday, following a fight between a group of Christians and a single Muslim man, who died of his injuries, according to state-owned Al-Ahram.

Al-Ahram also reported that groups of local Muslims attacked the villages of Naga Hasan and Dabaya after news broke of Hassan Sayyed Segdy’s death earlier that morning, resulting in four Copts killed and 32 injured.

The Egyptian Social Democratic Party stated in a press release that the four killed in the violence hailed from the two villages, located approximately 25 minutes from Luxor. Their injuries were consistent with attacks with both blunt and bladed weapons. The statement said that three other Christian men remain in a critical condition in Luxor International Hospital with various injuries.

The party also gave details of the burning of 27 houses belonging to local Copts by groups who allegedly attacked the local Coptic Orthodox Diocese; the police and army intervened, firing tear gas to disperse crowds...


To put a capper on this whole episode and highlight the absurdity of believing the MB is anything but evil, here is a story from the Jerusalem Post July 5 which says the MB accuses the new interim president of being a Jew and working at the behest of the US and Israel.

'Muslim Brotherhood claims interim Egyptian president is Jewish'

The Muslim Brotherhood claimed in a post on its official website that Egypt's new interim president Adli Mansour is Jewish, The Washington Post reported on Friday. The article on IkhwanOnline was subsequently removed.

Mansour, who previously served as the constitutional court's chief justice was sworn in as interim president on Thursdayafter the army removed Islamist President Mohamed Morsi from power.

According to the Post, the article falsely stated that Mansour is “considered to be a Seventh Day Adventist, which is a Jewish sect.”

The authors also claimed that the Pope of Egypt's Coptic church had refused to convert Mansour to Christianity.

The article on IkhwanOnline, according to the Post, posited that Mansour's appointment was backed by Israel and the US as part of a plan to eventually install leading opposition figure and former IAEA chief Mohamed ElBardei as president.


These news articles are but the tip of a very dangerous Islamic iceberg.  The next 6 months to a year will be telling in what we can expect the next 3-5 years to be like.  Keep an eye on Iran and Saudi Arabia as they both pose an added threat in what they decide their level of support, and what that support entails.

How is it that Obama has consistently shown support for Islamic causes yet those whom he fawns over believe the exact opposite?  Could it be that no matter what we do, Islam demands that non-Muslims must always be subservient to Islam and its theological demands?

CNN: Egyptians Blame Obama for Morsi Repression

Egyptians have been protesting by the millions against now ex-President Mohammed Morsi, but there have been other noticeable themes among protesters – specifically, the anti-American theme. While Morsi's dictatorial ways and bumbling of the economy have been the central complaint of protesters, the image of U.S. President Barack H. Obama has been prominent on many protest signs.
Obama, it will be recalled, was a principal backer of the revolution against Hosni Mubarak, and enthusiastically endorsed the election of Morsi as the first ever democratically elected leader of Egypt. When Morsi was elected in June 2012, Obama called him to congratulate him on his victory. In a statement, the White House said that the U.S. “will continue to support Egypt’s transition to democracy and stand by the Egyptian people as they fulfill the promise of their revolution.” The statement also “emphasized [Obama's] interest in working together with President-elect Morsi, on the basis of mutual respect, to advance the many shared interests between Egypt and the United States.”

It later became clear that the Egyptian people did not necessarily appreciate Obama's expressions of support for Morsi. In September, an Egyptian mob stormed the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, at the same time the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya was attacked.

In an interview, Obama said of Egypt that “I don't think that we would consider them an ally, but we don't consider them an enemy.” Regardless, he said, the current government in Egypt was “democratically elected. I think it's a work in progress.”
As protests began to mount towards the end of 2012, Obama began expressing concern over Morsi's repressive ways. In a statement on December 6, the White House said that “President Obama called President Morsi today to express his deep concern about the deaths and injuries of protesters in Egypt. The President emphasized that all political leaders in Egypt should make clear to their supporters that violence is unacceptable.

He welcomed President Morsi’s call for a dialogue with the opposition but stressed that such a dialogue should occur without preconditions... He reiterated the United States’ continued support for the Egyptian people and their transition to a democracy that respects the rights of all Egyptians.”
Still, Obama was clearly on Morsi's side; in May 2013, he overrode a Congressional effort to withhold military funding to Egypt, issuing a waiver authorizing transfer of the aid over restrictions imposed by Congress, which had sought to tie the assistance to progress in human rights efforts. According to senior Congressional officials, it was unlikely Egypt could have met those criteria.

The funding was not widely publicized in the U.S., but it was noticed by the Egyptian people, who began blaming the U.S., and particularly Obama, for supporting the repressive Morsi regime. During the recent protests that led up to Morsi's ouster, many signs and shouts accusing Obama of supporting repression could be seen in Tahrir Square, and in other protest centers.

The phenomenon was clear to CNN's Reza Sayah, who on Wednesday night commented on the signs claiming that Obama “had allied himself with terrorists,” “Obama backs a fascist regime in Egypt,” “Obama is killing Egyptians,” and others. “Egyptians love Americans,” Sayeh said, “but they don’t love U.S. foreign policy. Remember, they will never forget that for decades, it was Washington that supported the dictator Hosni Mubarak and his brutal police state.”

On Thursday, the State Department ordered the departure of all non-essential personnel from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo. A skeleton staff will be kept on at the site, with families and non-essential personnel to be evacuated from the country. The State Department did not say if it feared a takeover of the embassy. So far, no other foreign governments have ordered an evacuation of their personnel from Egypt.

Modern, moderate Indonesia furthers Islamization, suspends alcohol sales



Indonesia is held up as the perfect melding of secular democratic ideas and Islamic ethics, as a country where the values of both create a society where all are equal.  Unfortunately, as we are now seeing, that perspective (and the reality) is quickly being usurped by a more rigid and doctrinal long view based in fundamental Islamic precepts.

The banning of alcohol as haram is but another step in the Islamization of the country with the worlds largest Muslim population.

Islamisation gets a boost in Jakarta, as Supreme Court suspends the sale of alcoholic beverages

Jakarta (AsiaNews) - Indonesia has taken another step towards Islamisation following a Supreme Court decision to suspend a presidential decree of 1997 authorising the sale of alcoholic beverages in the country. Local authorities can now ban alcoholic beverages like wine and beer as well as soft drinks on their territory. The leaders of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), which has pushed the case, are rejoicing. For them, sexual violence and adultery are due to "alcoholic beverages."

For years, the FPI has laid down the law in various parts of the archipelago, imposing rules and regulations inspired by sharia, or Islamic law, to govern conduct and impose prohibitions, including on the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

In particular, restrictions on behaviour tend to intensify on the eve of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and prayer for Muslims. In the past, several members of the group raided and attacked shops, kiosks, and market stalls that sold alcoholic beverages during Ramadan.

Yesterday, the Indonesian Supreme Court suspended Presidential Decree No. 3/1997, which regulates and authorises the sale of alcoholic beverages. Chief Justice Ridwan Mansyur agreed with the FPI's claim that the decree does not favour upholding "law and order".

Now, local governments are free to ban the sale of alcohol, something that has already happened in 22 regencies and municipalities, like Depok and Indramayu in West Java.

After years of struggle and legal battles, Islamists enthusiastically welcomed the ruling. "Alcoholic drinks are closely linked to episodes of adultery," said Habib Muhammad bin Toha Assegaff, FPI chief in Tangerang.

Although Indonesia is the most populous Muslim nation in the world, its constitution recognises basic personal liberties, like religious freedom. However, in recent years, the country has become the scene of growing violence and abuse against minorities, including Christians as well as Ahmadi Muslims and other groups.

Islamic law is enforced in only one province, Aceh, but pressures are mounting in many others to do the same....

Nigerian Update; July 7, 2013

Boko Haram is at it again, this time murdering 29 children and a teacher at a school.  Some of the children were burned alive, say witnesses, and some of them are too badly charred to be identified by their parents.

30 killed in Nigeria school attack

Islamic militants attacked a boarding school in northeast Nigeria before dawn on Saturday, killing 29 students and a teacher. Some of the pupils were burned alive in the latest school attack blamed on a radical terror group, survivors said.

Parents screamed in anguish as they tried to identify the charred and gunshot victims.

Farmer Malam Abdullahi found the bodies of two of his sons, a 10-year-old shot in the back as he apparently tried to run away, and a 12-year-old shot in the chest.

“That’s it, I’m taking my other boys out of school,” he told The Associated Press as he wept over the two bodies. He said he had three younger children in a nearby school.

“It’s not safe,” he said. “The gunmen are attacking schools and there is no protection for students despite all the soldiers.”

Survivors at the Potiskum General Hospital and its mortuary said gunmen attacked Government Secondary School in Mamudo village, 5 km from Potiskum town at about 3 a.m. local time on Saturday. The gunmen are believed to be from the Boko Haram sect whose name means “Western education is sacrilege.”

They killed 29 students and an English teacher, Mohammed Musa, who was shot in the chest according to another teacher, Ibrahim Abdu.

“We were sleeping when we heard gunshots. When I woke up, someone was pointing a gun at me,” said 15-year-old Musa Hassan.

“They burned the children alive,” he said, the horror showing in his wide eyes.

Some bodies are so charred they could not be identified, so many parents do not know if their children survived or died...

Freedom from tyranny; then and now



We live in the greatest continuing experiment of freedom and liberty the world has ever seen.  Our rights, secured by those who pledged their lives to make this experiment work are never to be taken for granted.

Some believe they have the right to change, modify or discard what is seen as the best expression of individual freedoms, a tragic mistake serving to advance a narrow agenda benefiting the elite and powerful only.

This day, July 4 is our birthday, the day when we crossed the frontier and became what we always believed we were destined to be; free men and women no longer under the thumb of a repressive monarchistic dynasty.

Until we declared our independence from Britain we were nothing more than "British America' and subjected to the whims and emotions of a King.  Today more than ever we must uphold and celebrate the liberties and ideals our founders gave us, through their sacrifice we are able to read, write and speak our minds.

Let us give this magnificent work to all who want the freedom and liberty inherit in the human condition, and spread to every corner of the globe the ideals and ethics enshrined in the words we used to free ourselves from tyranny.

The Declaration of Independence is the foundational document of America.  Celebrate, shout and scream that the dream of our fathers is alive, thriving and a gift to the world.

Geller and Spencer banned from the UK, lawsuit in the works

Britain is just about gone as the lion we all knew, exemplified by the banning of Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer from entering the UK because of their supposed "hatred" of Muslims and Islam.  Forget for a moment that the British home office (responsible for granting entrance privileges) has allowed an Islamic hate preacher into the country.

Lawsuit to Fight the British Ban of Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer

In one of the most foolish and self-defeating decisions in recent memory, the British government has banned us from entering the country.

Our message of free speech and equality of rights for all before the law is too hot for them. But just last week they let in a Saudi imam who has said: “Devotion to jihad for the sake of Allah, and the desire to shed blood, to smash skulls, and to sever limbs for the sake of Allah and in defense of His religion, is, undoubtedly, an honor for the believer.”

That’s fine with British authorities. Resisting that jihad is not.

But we’re not taking this lying down. We’re not willing to give up once-Great Britain to the Left-fascists and Islamic supremacists who got us banned. We’re going to appeal this decision. We’re determined to stand for freedom with our English allies – and to do it in London.

It’s not going to be easy. The entire British government and media elite is determined to appease Islamic supremacists and discredit and silence the defenders of freedom. We will have to hire a top British legal team that can navigate through all the roadblocks and obstacles that the Home Office puts up.

It’s going to cost us upwards of $25,000.
