Like Rachel Corrie, Vittorio Arrigoni believed that he was fighting for a worthy cause and was in Gaza to help the poor, victimized refugees. With ties to Islamic Jihad and Hizballah as well as Hamas, the ISM is hardly the peaceful civil rights group they portray themselves as.
Vittorio, or Vik as he was called is another victim of his Islamic handlers and not the last of the innocents to die for Allah without knowing it.

About 2,000 people attended a rally to honour Arrigoni yesterday. Reports suggested Hamas police found his body on a mattress in an empty Gaza City apartment. According to a witness interviewed by the New York Times, he had been strangled with a plastic cord. The kidnappers killed him 24 hours before a deadline they had set for the release of their leader and several other prisoners. Killing him so early suggests they feared they were about to be discovered. Two men are being held in connection with the murder.
Rachel Corrie from the United States and Tom Hurndall from London were both killed by Israeli forces in Gaza in 2003 and 2004 while volunteering for the ISM.
I was wondering of Israel would be mentioned, and there it is. No context, just the claim that Israel "killed" Corrie and Hurndall. Nothing about their role in their own deaths, only more demonization of Israel. Why don't they just go the extra mile and blame Israel for Vik's death.

Palestinians rally to mourn kidnapped Italian activist murdered by extremists
Gaza braces for crackdown from Hamas authorities after hasty killing of Vittorio Arrigoni, 36
Hamas is expected to launch a crackdown on Islamic extremists in Gaza after the murder of an Italian peace activist who was strangled shortly after being kidnapped.
Vittorio Arrigoni, 36, was killed on Thursday after being abducted in an apparent attempt to force Hamas to release the leader of the Tawheed and Jihad group, Sheikh Abu Walid-al-Maqdas, who was arrested last month. Tawheed and Jihad later claimed it was not responsible for the murder.About 2,000 people attended a rally to honour Arrigoni yesterday. Arrigoni, known to friends as Vik, lived apart from fellow volunteers in the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). News of his abduction was posted via a video on YouTube in which he appeared blindfolded with a bruised face while a man held his head by the hair. Accompanying Arabic text said: "The Italian hostage entered our land only to spread corruption." It described Italy as "the infidel state".
(.)Arrigoni's death comes just over a week after a gunman shot dead Juliano Mer-Khamis, an Israeli actor who ran a theatre in the West Bank city of Jenin. It is not clear why Mer-Khamis was shot but his views about freedom of expression had generated some opposition in Jenin.

"With ties to Islamic Jihad and Hizballah as well as Hamas, the ISM is hardly the peaceful civil rights group they portray themselves as". This is a classic Zionist amalgam. The phrase 'ties to' is impossible to prove or disprove - that's why dishonest hacks use it. Arrigoni didn't have 'ties to' the people who murdered him. This story undermines the Zionist narrative that the International Solidarity Movement is linked to terrorism.

There is no such thing as a "Palestinian". There never has been a Palestine land which was not occupied and lived on by Jews. Palestinians are Arabs, plain and simple. There never was a Palestine government, paper, coinage, administration or any other relic of so-called "Palestinian people".
Rachel Corrie died for a lie, a political lie created in order to destroy Israel and kill all the Jews. She was duped by the ISM, a pure Islamic and jihadist group whose goal is identical to Islamic doctrine. There is no prison camp in Gaza or the West Bank, Israqel is not enslaving the refugees or clamping down on the economy, the economies of the West Bank and Gaza were the only ones to grow the past 2 years, averaging between 6% and 20% gains, depending on the source.
That would explain the plasma TVs, the Mercedes dealer, the four-start restaurant serving Beef Stroganoff, the glass-enclosed mansions in the hills of Jenin or the public marketplaces stuffed with everything from fresh fruit and meat to candy and kids clothes. I guess, with all that it must be a prison camp.
Once again, there is no Palestinian people or land of Palestine. Rachel Corrie was murdered by Hamas, the ISM and Islamic texts and tenets. I guess if you want to blame the Jews for everything Dawn, you can. You just look stupid, though.
