Another state against Sharia

From the land of NASA and rockets...no not Florida but Alabama comes another glimmer of hope and cheer.  Senator Gerald Allen is proposing legislation prohibiting sharia law in Alabama.  As usual, the Islamists are crying foul, saying once again that any laws which prohibit Islamic norms are part of the great conspiracy to demonize Islam and Muslims, overseen by those evil Jews.

Well, it always boils down to the Jews, doesn't it?  Even if it is not explicitly spoken, it is always implied.

The brave Senator has taken up the gauntlet thrown down by other states wanting to ban sharia, and joins the chorus of those who are beginning to understand the dangers inherit within Islamic texts and tenets.  He is already being castigated, and the usual names are being thrown.  It does not matter, the anti=sharia forces are mounting, and the tide will one day turn against them.  Until that time, our support to Sen. Allen and our best wishes for a successful campaign to eliminate sharia law in Alabama.

Question: what would it take to start the process here in Oregon to have sharia law banned?  The more I think about this prospect the more I feel it should be done.  Any suggestions on how to approach this are welcome.  Email me here at whatisislam@ymail.com.

Alabama senator tries to ban use of Islamic law

ANNISTON, Ala. (AP) - A Republican senator from Cottondale has introduced a bill in the Legislature that would ban the use of Islamic law in Alabama courts.

Sen. Gerald Allen can't cite any examples of Muslims trying to have Islamic law recognized in Alabama courts, but he says the bill is designed to protect future generations from erosion of the Constitution.

The president of the Birmingham Islamic Society, Ashfaq Taufique, told The Anniston Star that the bill is an effort to "demonize Islam and Muslims."

Of course, any time Islamic doctrine is discussed in any terms except rainbows and unicorns, the local Islamists start up the spin machine.  Mr. Tanfique should be reminded that it is Muslims who attempt, or carry out their attacks while using the Qur'an and sunna to justify their actions from which the demonization flows, not the other way around.  Oh, that whole Allahu Akbar thing, that doesn't help either.

Read it all.
