Of course it is, Rep. Lee, it's those pesky Christians who just won't shut up about sharia law, or stoning rape victims, or removing free speech rights, or agitating for special rights, or claiming victim status under the guise of "Christianophobia" or taking over sections of major cities in order to establish "Christian" enclaves.  We do not hear calls for conversion, subjugation or death from any mainstream Christian organizations, nor are they demanding special privileges which go above and beyond common social and civil law.

But of course the ability to see the real threat is non-existent, you and your cohorts will not allow anything to color your belief that Islam is a religion of peace.  Christians, Jews, Catholics, Hindu, Buddhist, all will fall under your withering secular axe, but Islam is not to be questioned.

Democrat: We Need 'Analysis of How Christian Militants … Might Bring Down The Country’

 

(CNSNews.com) – At a congressional hearing on Muslim radicalization in U.S. prisons, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) said that investigators needed to analyze Christian militants in America because they too might try to “bring down the country.”
In an exchange with witness Patrick Dunleavy, the former deputy inspector of the criminal intelligence unit, New York Department of Correctional Services, Rep. Jackson Lee mentioned the case of a man who blew up an abortion clinic and proposed that this perhaps was an attempt to undermine U.S. law that allows a woman to procure an abortion.

Misdirection.  There is no equivalency between less than 12 abortion bombings in the last 20 years and the over 17,000 jihad attacks against the world since 9/11.  Her point is valid, but meaningless within context.

Rep. Lee then said, “As we look to be informational, we should include an analysis of how Christian militants or others might bring down the country. We have to look broadly, do we not?”

No we do not.  These hearings are not about Christians, or Jews, or any other belief system or religious practice.  These hearings are about Islam, and the information is critical to understanding the enemy and forming a plan to defend ourselves.  We look broadly only in terms of what reach Islam has, not whether Christians are planning an attack.  BTW Rep. Lee, I can tell you they are not.

Dunleavy answered:  “I don’t know that Christian militants have foreign country backing or foreign country financing.”

Lee then said, “I don’t think that’s the issue. The issue is whether or not their intent is to undermine the laws of this nation. And I think it is clear that that is the case. So it’s not -- your distinction is not answering the question.”

You do not want the true answers, Rep.Lee, you want to make sure everyone knows Christians are the real problem and will do anything, say anything to make that a reality.  The issue is, among many, the influence of foreign money and control regarding the recruitment and inculcation of new jihadists, and your obfuscating the answer does nothing to help understand the nature of Islam in prisons, or across the globe, for that matter.


The hearing on Muslim radicalization in U.S. prisons was held on Wednesday by the House Homeland Security Committee, which is chaired by Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.).
