"Is this good for the company?"

Since the death of bin-Laden there have been a few names bandied about as to the next leader of Al-Qaeda.  The natural choice would be Ayman al-Zawahiri, bin-Ladens second and the logical choice.  The clerics and scholars have agreed now that yes, Zawahiri should be appointed officially to the position.

I wonder how their health plan is and if they support ObamaCare...

Ayman al-Zawahiri appointed as al-Qaeda leader

The long-serving second-in-command of al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri, has been appointed its head following the death of Osama Bin Laden, the militant organisation said in a statement.

Bin Laden was killed by US forces in Pakistan in early May.

Al-Qaeda warned it would continue to fight a holy war against the US and Israel under Zawahiri's direction.

A US official dismissed Zawahiri's appointment, saying he had "nowhere near" Bin Laden's credentials.

The statement announcing his appointment was posted on a militant website and attributed to al-Qaeda's General Command.

"Sheikh Dr Ayman al-Zawahiri, may God guide him, assumed responsibility as the group's amir [leader]", it said.

It vowed that under Zawahiri, it would pursue jihad or holy war against the US and Israel "until all invading armies leave the land of Islam".

'Jihadist renaissance'

Analysts say Egyptian-born Zawahiri, 59, is intelligent but lacks the charisma of his predecessor.

He is claimed by some experts to have been the "operational brains" behind the 9/11 attacks on the US.

For years Bin Laden's deputy, with a $25m (£15m) bounty on his head, he had been widely anticipated to replace Bin Laden at the helm.

Zawahiri, whose 60th birthday is believed to be this Sunday, warned just over a week ago that Bin Laden would continue to "terrify" the US from beyond the grave.

In a video message posted on the internet on 8 June, Zawahiri said al-Qaeda would continue to fight.

Obama tells us we are not at war with islam.  Zawahiri, whom millions of Muslims listen to and follow, says Islam is at war with us.  Who is the stupid one in this sick dance?

To the followers of Ayman al-Zawahiri:

Your hope of "death with dignity" can also be a death with pride: a paper "Crown of Dignity" for the so-called martyr; and an "inner-peace" smirk for the martyr's teacher. If you worship an idea of Dignity in Death, Hell will applaud you; but God will be far from you.

Stop bowing and prostrating yourself for applause from your teachers; and you will learn to value your life and love your children. The hatred taught by your teachers will seem stale next to the loves of your life. No white-turbaned teacher will talk you out of your life; and you will protect your children from the self-appointed wise.

Your common sense knows: Life is good - Death is not. The choice is clear to the living: pride in death or fight death.

If your pride wins, your soul will be lost to the Void. If your common sense wins, you will be saved for a Joy and a Peace that passes all understanding - an Eternal Life.

Best Regards,
