Since a picture is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth tens of thousands of words.  When you see for yourself, and can process what you see within a context, the impact becomes that much more powerful.  I can describe what a stoning looks like, but the reality is lost using mere words.  It must be viewed and absorbed for the truth to settle in.  It is more than unpleasant, it is disturbing on many levels.  It is barbaric, horrofic, head-turning and repulsive, but it is necesessary.  Please send the kids out of the room, they do not need to see this yet.

Stoning in Afghanistan: "Allahu akbar! Allahu akbar! Allahu akbar!"

Jihad Watch reader Myles has sent in the link for the full video from this story. It probably goes without saying that the footage below is disturbing; it shows two people dying a horrible death.

But this is Sharia, and all of its various horrors, abuses, and absurdities must be exposed so they may be resisted.

This is an act Muhammad not only prescribed, but participated in, according to canonical Islamic sources. The fact that it is not in the Qur'an means nothing.

There is a greater level of frenzy over killing the woman, Siddqa. The perverse excitement of the crowd is palpable, and the cries of "Allahu akbar" are more numerous. But in the end, it is an equal-opportunity double murder, with two pulverized bodies to show as testimony to Allah's greatness. This is Sharia.

Sex with Children

I know, those words get the blood boiling.  That is why I did it.  This piece is disturbing on a genetic level, humans are not programmed to have sex with children yet, in the name of Muhammad, the "al-insan al-kamil" or perfect man, whose behavior is to be emulated and followed to the letter, the sixth most used Islamic website, IslamOnline recently issued a fatwa, or religious ruling which says....well, I will let you figure the rest out for yourself.  Please read this sitting down.

This is another fatwa from IslamOnline.net, which again is the sixth most popular Islamic website on the internet, according to Wikipedia. As the author of this fatwa points out, this ruling is entirely based on the Qur'an and the example of the prophet, who is considered the perfect example for Muslims in all ages. How many young girls have been and continue to be abused due to Muhammad's perverse actions in having sex with a nine-year-old, which now must be made permissible for all Muslims? Question: What is your opinion of the calls from more than one Islamic country to prohibit girls from marrying before the age of eighteen? Which is nearest to Islam--these calls or not specifying a certain age for marriage the nearest to Islam? Is it correct that Islamic scholars permit the father to marry off his young daughter (I mean, a child)?

Answer: In the name of God, praise to God, and prayers and peace be upon the prophet of God, etc.

Scholars very nearly agree that it is the right of the father to marry off his young, immature daughter. This is owing to his authority over her, for as he is responsible for directing her and providing for her, he is also responsible for doing what he believes is in her interest on the issue of marriage.

Ibn Qudama in al-Mughni said:  "No one but the father can compel a woman, or marry off a young girl, whether a grandfather or otherwise." This was spoken of by Malik, Abu-'Ubayd al-Thawri, and Ibn Abu-Layli. This was also spoken of by al-Shafi'i, except he said it of the grandfather, making him like the father, because he has the authority of a parent, including to compel her like the father.

Al-Hasan, 'Umar Ibn-'Abd-al-'Aziz, Tawus, Qatada, Ibn-Shirama, al-Awza'i, and Abu-Hanifa said: "No one but the father can marry off a young girl; but she has the choice if she has matured." All of them but Abu-Hanifa said: "None but the father can marry two children, for they have the choice if they have matured."

It is important for us to understand that it is not a duty for a father to give his young girl in marriage, but it is restricted to her best-interest. For it is not permissible unless he believes that her best-interest requires it, and God is his judge on that.

The Noble Qur'an has also mentioned the waiting period [i.e. for a divorced wife to remarry] for the wife who has not yet menstruated, saying: "And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated" [Qur'an 65:4]. Since this is not negated later, we can take from this verse that it is permissible to have sexual intercourse with a prepubescent girl. The Qur'an is not like the books of jurisprudence which mention what the implications of things are, even if they are prohibited. It is true that the prophet (PBUH) entered into a marriage contract with A'isha when she was six years old, however he did not have sex with her until she was nine years old, according to al-Bukhari. Insults are worth killing for

Islamophobes are those who point out that an insult to Islam gets the death penalty.  Islamists who point out the same thing are called practitioners of true Islam.

No, the four things are not the four Gospels, and the author of this fatwa is not a right-wing Evangelical minister. The four things, of course, are Allah, Muhammad, the Qur'an, and Islam, and this is yet another offering from the Religion of Peace and Tolerance (shocker!). The author of this fatwa, which comes from the Islamic Fatwa Council of Jerusalem, presided over by Shaykh Khalid Ghanayim, asserts that this is not only his opinion, but also the opinion of the Qur'an, the sunnah, and the consensus of Islamic scholars, and backs all of that up with references from each source. Q: What is the ruling on one who insults the divine, the Prophet (peace be upon him), the Noble Qur'an, and Islam?

In the name of Allah the most merciful,

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the two worlds, and peace be upon our lord Muhammad, and on his family and companions.

Whoever insults one of these four things, whether in jest or sincerity, has become an infidel and must be killed. This is what is shown in the text of the book [i.e. the Qur'an], and the sunnah, and all scholars (are in agreement) with it.

1 - The book

The Most High said: "If they violate their oaths after pledging to keep their covenants, and attack your religion, you may fight the leaders of paganism - you are no longer bound by your covenant with them - that they may refrain" (Qur'an 9:12). The spot that witnesses to the infidelity of insulting them, or insulting one of them, is the saying of the Most High, "...and attack your religion..."

2 - The sunnah

Abu Dawud and al-Nasa'i, from Ibn-'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), related that a blind man had a slave-mother [a slave who bore children for him] who used to abuse the Prophet (peace be upon him) and disparage him. He [i.e. the blind man] forbade her but she did not stop. He rebuked her but she did not give up her habit. One night she began to slander the Prophet (peace be upon him) and abuse him. So he [the blind man] took a dagger, placed it on her belly, pressed it, and killed her. When the morning came, the Prophet (peace be upon him) was informed about it...

Tony Blair condemned by Muslima sister-in-law

I did not know Blair had a Muslima in his family.  I bet Christmas dinner must be a hoot.  As with a lot of Muslims in Europe, she blames him for the problems Muslims are going through because of his cooperation with Bush regarding the invasion of Iraq. 

It is debatable whether our actions in Iraq were of any good, but her assertion that Islam is a victim of Western aggression just repeats the same tired canard.

Taqiyya is the Islamic art of lying, kitman is more subtle lying by omission, or misdirecting for the purpose of deceit.  This is a good example of the latter.  Remember when you listen to those so-called "moderate Muslims" who speak in sweet prose of "interfaith dialogue" and "bridge-building" that they are telling you what you WANT to hear, not what the truth is.

By not condemning Hamas to an Arab audience, NIhad Awad is upholding the support and brotherhood among all Muslims, against non-Muslims.  By mildly condemning Hamas to a Western audience he is seen as a "moderate" who can be worked with.

We are the "useless idiots" when we refuse to accept this aspect of Islamic doctrine, and understand how it works.

Mohammad said "War is deceit" and his followers are exhibiting it to the world.  And we yawn.   

When it comes to CAIR, kitman is expected.  This piece, once again, for the umpteenth time shows the true face of Islam in America, and what it really stands for.

CAIR's Nihad 'Awad Refuses to Condemn Hamas

This interview is a little old (2004), but I've never seen it translated anywhere into English for the American public to read, and I think it's important to have out here, especially with Rep. Pete King's upcoming hearings on Islam in America. This is an organization which purports to represent mainstream American Islam, and yet refuses to condemn Hamas, an Islamic terrorist group if there ever was one. (See original Arabic here.)

Well Sir, it'll hold three suitcases, and an Imam!

There are several issues going on here.  One, how has he escaped the radar for so long, B, what does this say about the OTM's that cross the border every day, and three, will BMW change how it advertises it's cars?

Seriously, this piece illustrates vividly the lack of real tracking of Islamists and jihadists by not just local, but federal and international law enforcment agencies.  The "unexpected resurfacing" of the outspoken cleric should have not been so unexpected as he had been deported from Canada, where he had the reputation, in Quebec as the "the controversial imam."  Was there no one charged with watching where he went? 

The problem with OTM, or "other than Mexican" aliens crossing the southern border is that there is no real monitoring of these non-Mexicans, and it is estimated that the number of OTM illegals may be as high as 20% of the total illegals crossing each year.  That is a lot of Islamists and jihadists coming into the US.  It is reported that when caught, the men of Middle Eastern descent act like Mexicans, sometimes learning to talk like a Mexican, and as they look like Mexicans, us white folk cannot tell the difference, so Border Patrol does not identify them as Arab.  The scary part is, no one in power sees this as a problem.

You have to admire the choice of vehicles, most illegals are crammed 25 at a time into a mini-van or small truck with a canopy, and are easy to catch.  I am sure the trunk of a Beemer is much more comfy, and with a good driver behind the wheel, it could give anyone chasing them a run for their money.

It is a good thing he was caught, but it was luck, not monitoring which affected the arrest.  Sometimes we get the break.

Border authorities arrest controversial Muslim cleric east of San Diego

U.S. border authorities have arrested a controversial Muslim cleric who was deported from Canada to Tunisia three years ago and was caught earlier this month trying to sneak into California inside the trunk of a BMW, according to court documents.

Said Jaziri, the former Imam of a Muslim congregation in Montreal, was hidden inside a car driven by a San Diego-area man who was pulled over by U.S. Border Patrol agents near an Indian casino east of San Diego. Jaziri allegedly paid a Tijuana-based smuggling group $5,000 to get him across the border near Tecate, saying he wanted to be taken to a “safe place anywhere in the U.S.”

The arrest marks the unexpected resurfacing of the 43-year-old cleric, whose protracted legal battle to avoid deportation drew headlines in Canada. A Tunisian immigrant, Jaziri was deported for failing to disclose a criminal conviction in France while applying for refugee status in the mid-1990s.

But Jaziri’s supporters said he was targeted for his fundamentalist views: Jaziri backed Sharia law for Canadian Muslims and led protests over the publication of the prophet Muhammad cartoons in a Danish newspaper in 2006.

Uh oh, another of those "misunderstanders of Islam" we keep hearing about.

Conversion, subjugation or death.  Although they changed subjugation to fleeing there is little difference.  If you give up your home, livelyhood and freedoms, you are effectively subjugated so, they are following as close as possible the command of Allah to all non-Muslims: convert, become a dhimmi, or die.

Washington, D.C. (January 25, 2011)-International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that Christians in the Ethiopian city of Besheno are being harassed and physically abused after Muslims posted notices on the doors of Christian homes warning them to convert, leave the city or face death.

Three Christian leaders were forced to flee the city and two Christians have been forced to convert to Islam. In the Muslim majority city, the entire evangelical Christian community consists of about 30 believers.


Evangelist Kassa Awano remains in critical condition after Muslims attacked him on November 29, 2010. A few days after the attack, nearly 100 Muslims surrounded a vehicle carrying Christian leaders on their way to negotiate for peace with Muslim leaders. Two men, Tesema Hirego and Niggusie Denano, were seriously wounded, and the other leaders suffered minor injuries. On January 2, Muslims assaulted Temesgen Peteros with a knife after he testified about the attacks on these Christians in court.

Christians in Besheno have been targeted by Muslims for many years. On May 21, 2004, Muslims murdered the 7 year-old daughter of Evangelist Tesfaye Hobe. Muslims continuously attack Christians for listening to Christian songs and watching Christian videos....

Quick, hide the truth!

Thailand has been plagued with attacks by jihadists and Islamists, yet Reuters has seen fit to obfuscate and misdirect in this story.  It is also another example of how the media tries hard to make sure none of us really understands who is doing what to whom. 

When you see phrases like "insurgent violence," "separatist rebellion," "ethnic Malay militants" just replace them with jihadists and Islamists.

A roadside bomb killed nine civilians and wounded two in Thailand's southernmost province on Tuesday, police said, the deadliest attack in 19 months in the predominantly Muslim region bordering Malaysia.

The victims were all Buddhists who were travelling in a pickup truck to hunt wild pigs when the bomb exploded in Yala, one of three provinces beset by sporadic insurgent violence in a seven-year separatist rebellion.

It was the region's deadliest attack since gunmen opened fire with automatic weapons at a mosque during evening prayers on June 9, 2009, killing 11 people.

More than 4,300 people have been killed since 2004 as ethnic Malay Muslims fight for autonomy from Thailand's Buddhist majority in the rubber-rich region.

It was the second major attack in six days and will be a blow to the government and security forces, who say the level of violence has fallen significantly in recent months, citing tighter security and a spate of public relation campaigns.

Four soldiers were killed and five wounded last Wednesday when rebels armed with grenades and assault rifles stormed an army outpost in Narathiwat province. Media said at least 20 rifles were stolen.

'You do not have the right to spread this conviction, lest you pollute others'

Those who leave Islam and preach against the Muslim religion must be jailed, declared the imam who has become the new face of the proposed Islamic cultural center near Ground Zero in New York City.

"If someone leaves the din, leaves the path privately, they cannot be touched. If someone preaches about apostasy, or preaches their views, they're jailed," stated Imam Abdallah Adhami in a November lecture obtained and reviewed by WND.

Adhami was discussing the Quranic view of apostasy, or Muslims who decide to leave the Islamic religion.

Here is what Robert Spencer says about leaving Islam;

Muhammad, the prophet of Islam and supreme example of conduct for the Muslim (cf. Qur'an 33:21), said: "Whoever changes his Islamic religion, then kill him." (Bukhari 9.84.57)

The Tafsir al-Qurtubi, a classic and thoroughly mainstream exegesis of the Qur'an, says this about Qur'an 2:217: "Scholars disagree about whether or not apostates are asked to repent. One group say that they are asked to repent and, if they do not, they are killed. Some say they are given an hour and others a month. Others say that they are asked to repent three times, and that is the view of Malik. Al-Hasan said they are asked a hundred times. It is also said that they are killed without being asked to repent."

All the schools of Islamic jurisprudence teach that a sane adult male who leaves Islam must be killed. They have some disagreements about what must he done with other types of people who leave Islam, but they have no disagreement on that. So if Adhami is saying that apostates must be jailed rather than killed, he must be a moderate.(end)

According to Shariah, or Islamic law, the consensus view in Sunni Islam is that a male apostate must be put to death unless he suffers from a mental disorder or converted against his will.

There are, however, differing views on the subject, with some contemporary Islamic scholars differentiating between public and private apostasy and arguing for actions ranging from death to nothing.

Either way, these words come from the imam who is for "interfaith dialogue" and "bridge-building" as laid down by the former leader, imam Rauf.

Congressman Peter King of New York has planned hearings on Islam, jihad and the radicalization of Muslims.  Unfortunately he is not calling those most able to speak truthfully on Islamic doctrine and sharia in the US, thus the folly of holding the hearings at all.

King’s Hearings On Muslim Radicalization: Useless

What has happened to Peter King? The New York congressman’s much-anticipated and controversial hearings on “radicalization” within the American Muslim community are shaping up to be useless, or worse. King said Tuesday, according to Politico, that “he’s not planning to call as witnesses such Muslim community critics as the Investigative Project on Terrorism’s Steve Emerson and Jihad Watch’s Robert Spencer.” Instead, King plans to call people with “the real life experience of coming from the Muslim community,” including, of all people, Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN).

In “King Abdicates” in The American Thinker Thursday, Pamela Geller pointed out that Emerson “knows who all the players are and what groups and cells they are affiliated with,” and that “for King to acquiesce in his marginalization is almost criminal.” Ellison, conversely, Geller noted, is “infamous for his pro-Hamas rallies and his pilgrimage to the Hajj in Saudi Arabia, paid for by the Muslim Brotherhood.”

A possible Domino Effect

Lebanon has been under the influence of Hizballah for decades.  Israel has fought battles against them, the US has them as a terrorist group, and their record of human rights abuses and indiscriminate slaughter is a matter of record.  This development only portends disaster.

It has been two weeks since Hizballah ousted the current administration, yet this will change how the US interacts with Lebanon in the very near future.  With Hizballah backed by Iran, the great fear is that, by proxy Iran will control Lebanon.

A real concern, and one grounded in the history of Iranian meddling with Lebanon, as well as Iraq, Afghanistan and others.  We will see this end badly, and soon.

New Hezbollah-backed PM urges Lebanon unity

BEIRUT – The billionaire businessman chosen by Hezbollah and its allies as Lebanon's prime minister called for a unity government Tuesday, a sign that the Iranian-backed militant group does not want to push its growing power too far and risk isolation abroad and an escalation of sectarian tensions at home.

In Washington, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton warned that formation of a government dominated by Hezbollah would mean changes in U.S. relations with Lebanon. The militant group and its allies ousted the government backed by Washington two weeks ago when they walked out of the Cabinet.

"A Hezbollah-controlled government would clearly have an impact on our bilateral relationship with Lebanon," Clinton said. The United States deems Hezbollah a terrorist organization and has imposed sanctions against the group and its members.

The ascendancy of Hezbollah is a setback to the United States, which has provided Lebanon with $720 million in military aid since 2006 and has tried in vain to move the country firmly into a Western sphere and end the influence of Iran and Syria.

Not enough "Jizya" has been paid, will we send more?

Hezbollah's opponents maintain having an Iranian proxy in control of Lebanon's government would be disastrous and lead to international isolation. The militant group has its own arsenal and is the country's most powerful military force.

IBRAHIM Siddiq-Conlon has a message for Australians, whether they want to hear it or not.

"One day Australia will be ruled by sharia, no doubt," he declares. "That is why non-Muslims are worried, because they know one day they won't be able to drink their beer, they won't be able to eat their pork and they won't be able to do their homosexual acts, because one day they know they will be controlled."

The word "Islam" means submission.

Siddiq-Conlon sits on the steps of the NSW Parliament House, the location he has chosen to launch his rhetorical attack on democracy, which he describes as "an evil system of life".

"Right now in the Western world we're on the edge of a crisis, of extinction, because of democracy. OK, so don't tell me democracy has the answers and is peaceful. Democracy is the reason for the world's problems."

Siddiq-Conlon is the face and voice of Sharia4Australia, a group formed in Sydney's southwest to agitate for Islamic law, starting with the introduction of sharia courts and ending, in his ideal world, with Islamic rule.

While he claims to eschew violence, he unapologetically preaches hate. An online video posted by his group describes its members as "uncompromising [in] their disallegiance, disloyalty and hate for the disbelievers".

"I hate the parliament. I hate [democracy] with a pure hate," he says. Moreover, it is obligatory for all Muslims to reject democracy, because it is a challenge to God's law: "They must hate it, speak out against it, and if that doesn't work, take action against it."

It almost becomes redundant to keep beating the point that Europe, especially England is on it's deathbed when it comes to Islam, yet I cannot help to report on the tortuous path it is taking.  As each report comes in, the reports are more dire, yet there is stlll breath left in the old lion. 

Hope for the best and expect the worst when talking about Britain, for her days indeed are numbered.

Islam Grows in Europe, Jihad Not Far Behind

The growing demographic picture of millions of Muslim immigrants and their descendants in Europe is beginning to bear bitter fruit in a quiet “under the radar” jihad against Israel.

Muslim lobby groups representing this sector are rapidly gaining a hold on Europe's relations with the State of Israel and the Middle East, contends writer Soeren Kern in a long, well-referenced article entitled “Europe's Muslim Lobby” published last week in Hudson New York. Kern notes in the report that in Britain alone there are 3 million Muslims. In France there are more -- 4.1 million -- and in Germany, home to Europe's largest Muslim community, there are more than 4.5 million.

When the Muslim population reaches approximately 5% of the total, demands for more Islamic accomodations rises dramatically, and agitation for sharia law and stricter controls on free speech increas in frequency and tenor.

Hamas wants Peace, except when they don't

Hamas, the "democratically elected", genocidal and Islamist-driven rulers of Gaza have again shown their cards.  I am called an "Islamophobe" and hate-monger for pointing out that in the Hamas Charter it calls for the death of the Jews and the destruction of Israel, yet there is nary a peep from those same nabobs when Hamas says it.  This is intellectual relativism of the worst kind and endemic of a much larger problem called denial.  No matter what our enemies say or do, they will not be held accountable for their words and actions, as they are the "victim" and thus deserve our sympathy and help.  They deny Islam in any it's forms could have anything to do with those poor refugees, and their benevolent and caring government.

Remember, no matter what, it is always the Jews fault, and if they would just go away, everything would be dandy.

Unwitting dhimmi judge rules for sharia law in the US

This is undoubtedly a judge with no clue as to the definition of a dhimmi.  Sharia finance is another tentacle of the creeping sharia now edging into Western society.  AIG is but one of many financial houses which wants sharia finance, CitiCorp is one of the biggest proponents of sharia finance as well.  Bank of America and Wells Fargo have their dhimmi fingers in the Islamic pie also, and there are others who actively agitate for more sharia money.

Judge Lawrence Zatkoff is a traitor to his position as a judge, and should be investigated, then stripped of his robe.   He deserves no less than our contempt.

Decision approves government funding for Shariah indoctrination

Attorneys for a Marine Corps veteran of the Iraq War say they have filed a petition to the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals after a federal district judge ruled it is OK for the U.S. government to fund commercial enterprises that promote the indoctrination of Islamic law, or Shariah, in the United States.

The decision came from Judge Lawrence Zatkoff, who changed his perspective on the issue and said just last week that he would dismiss a constitutional challenge brought by Kevin Murray against the U.S. government's bailout of AIG, the insurance giant.
AIG used more than "$100 million in federal tax money to support Islamic religious indoctrination through the funding and promotion of Shariah-compliant financing. … SCF is financing that follows the dictates of Islamic law," said the Thomas More Law Center, or TMLC.

TMLC is representing Murray in his challenge to the use of federal tax money to promote Islam in the U.S.

The non-profit legal advocacy group's president, Richard Thompson, warned of the precedent.  

"Judge Zatkoff's ruling allows for oil-rich Muslim countries to plant the flag of Islam on American soil," he said. "His ruling ignored the uncontested opinions of several Shariah experts and AIG's own website, which trumpeted Shariah-compliant financing as promoting the law of the prophet Mohammed and as an ethical product and a new way of life."

"[Zatkoff's] ruling ignored AIG's use of a foreign Islamic advisory board to control investing in accordance with Islamic law," Thompson continued. "This astonishing decision allows the federal government as well as AIG and other Wall Street bankers to explicitly promote Shariah law – the 1,200-year-old body of Islamic canon law based on the Quran, which demands the destruction of Western civilization and the United States."

Thompson warned it is the same law "championed by Osama bin Laden and the Taliban; it is the same law that prompted the 9/11 Islamic terrorist attacks; and it is the same law that is responsible for the murder of thousands of Christians throughout the world.

Officer, I would like to report an assaul.....oh, never mind

Minnesota has a large Muslim population of mostly Somalis, but there are other countries represented as well: Pakistan, Yemen, Nigeria.  The jihadists and Islamists have a firm grip in Minnesota as well as Michigan, so it should come as no surprise to hear not only of police who follow Allah, but how that following can create the behavior exhibited.

This officer should not only have the book thrown at him(not the Qur'an) and his motives explored and explained to the public so they can see how the texts and tenets of Islam propelled this police officer to commit the acts he is accused of, but also his actions should be condemned by local Muslims in a way to show non-Msulims that there is nothing to fear, and that Islam means peace.

Fat chance.

Minneapolis officer accused of assaulting his wife

A Minneapolis police officer was charged with felony assault Friday, accused of hitting his wife in the face with a gun and threatening to kill her.

(4-34) "...and send her to beds apart...and beat her..."

Mukhtar Abdulkadir, 36, of Andover was quarreling with his wife Wednesday before bedtime, according a criminal complaint filed in Anoka County District Court. The next morning, he threw her on the couch and punched her in the ribs, the complaint said. As she was screaming, he put a pillow over her head, according to the document.

With his 3-year-old child yelling at him to stop, Abdulkadir grabbed a handgun from a closet and hit his wife in the face with the butt end, the charges said. She didn't seek medical treatment.

Later in the story Abdulkadir says his wife hit herself....with the gun...and assaulted him.

Women not allowed to watch sports TV in Iran

The fun things to do in Iran are slowly being prohibited, and those who suffer the most are women.  The problem, from Islam's perspective, with women and TV, especially regarding soccer is that they are distracting and would cause the men to exhibit "inappropriate behavior."  Now wouldn't you think that being covered by the burqa would preclude any behavior deemed haram(forbidden) in Islam? 
  In Iran, live soccer matches are shown at local movie theatres, and women have been able to watch and cheer.  Not any more.

Women soccer fans in Iran may be banned from live broadcasts

Iranian authorities have ordered a ban on women from watching live broadcasts of soccer matches at public movie theaters, the semi-official ILNA news agency reported.

A state police agency that monitors Iranian businesses called for the ban because "the presence of women and families at movie theaters increases security risks and inappropriate behavior," ILNA reported.

Women are already banned from attending live matches in Iran.  This just adds icing to an already bitter cake.

The BBC and religious relativism

Fair and balanced the BBC are not.  In the last month they have been promoting Islam over all other religions, with programming that shows it is plainly biased towards Islam.  Every program shows Islam and Muslims in a positive light, with all the dark and nasty aspects whitewashed in the name of, well, you know.

It is mind-boggling to see how the once-mighty Britain has fallen under the rules set by jihadists and Islamists.

May God save England, but I am not holding my breath.

Only Islam seems to interest the channel's programme makers.

Following the Pact of Umar in Egypt

As I have written here about the Pact of Umar and the creation of the dhimmi, the Christians in Egypt are suffering under, among other restrictive codes, a 1,400 year old ruling that prohibits the building or repairing of churches in Islamic lands.  They and other human rights groups, are demanding the government repeal this unjust law and give Christians the same rights as Islam.

Collapsing Churches Prompt Protests in Egypt For New Law on Church Construction

Unusually bad winter weather in Upper Egypt all last week focused attention once again on the controversial restrictions on church building. The rainy weather caused roofs of dilapidated churches -- which have been waiting for years to receive construction permits -- to collapse.

Much of the on-going sectarian strife in Egypt is related to the ability of Christians to build churches. Most human rights organizations in Egypt have called on the Egyptian government for the last 15 years to promptly adopt "a unified law governing construction of the houses of worship." believing that this law would eliminate more than 90% of the sectarian tension.

Presently church building in Egypt is still partly governed by the Hamayouni Decree of 1856, and the 1934 el-EzabI Decree that stipulated 10 conditions that must be met prior to issuance of a presidential decree permitting the construction of a church. The conditions include the requirement that the distance between a church and a mosque be not less than 100 meters, the approval of the neighboring Muslim community, the number of Christians in the area and whether or not the proposed church is near the Nile, public utilities or railways. Copts view these regulations as confirmation of their Dhimmi or second-class citizenship status.
