Even in death, Al-Awlaki, like bin-Laden is the gift of hate that keeps on giving. On the streets of New York City, at vendors large and small, Al-Awlaki's voice is still available on CD. Not that there are many takers, if you believe the vendors still selling them. And that begs the question; why are they still being sold, who is selling them and who is buying?

Mouthpiece of madness sells in B’klyn
Anwar al-Awlaki is still alive and well in Brooklyn -- on tape at least.
Copies of the terror mouthpiece’s religious tracts were readily available on Atlantic Avenue yesterday in the heart of a heavily Yemeni neighborhood.
The CDs don’t contain the same vitriol as the cleric’s caustic YouTube rants -- which local lawmakers fought to remove from the site -- but are full of his insights on Islam.
You mean the "lets all get along" insights of Islam hitherto unknown to Muslims and the rest of the world?
“He is a very good speaker,” said Hamed Nabawy, 51, owner of the Fertile Crescent on Atlantic Avenue near Fourth Avenue in Boerum Hill, a combo grocery and Islamic cultural store.
“He compares what is justice in Islam, and then turns to recent history. He looks at the lack of justice in American policy around the world and the Middle East.”
Still, Nabawy admits that many on the strip have distanced themselves from the hatemonger.
“Nobody mentions him -- nobody in New York. There is not a big demand for him,” said Nabawy.
Nabawy sells a set of CDs called “Travel Companion Edition: Abu Bakr al Siddiq,” in which Awlaki recounts the life of a prophet who followed Mohammed.
He charges $35 for the set of eight CDs.
“He is reciting from the Koran,” said Nabawy.
“There’s nothing about politics. Our policy here is we are against extremists of both sides.”
Sounds like taqiyya to me, Nabawy.
