Baha'i persecution in Iran

The Baha'i are considered to be a heretical sect of Islam by Sunni and Shia alike.  They have suffered at the hands of their co-religionists for years, just as the Ahmadi, another small Islamic sect have been.  The Baha'i faith is active here in the US and other countries, but within Islamic countries they have struggled to maintain the essence of their faith.

Now, in Iran the cleansing of the Baha'i is ratcheting up and they will soon join the ranks of the displaced from the land of Muhammad.

The Qur'anic command to "..not take disbelievers as friends.."(3-28) seems applicable in this instance.
