...and this little piggy got a Fatwa...

Again and again, we see examples of Western culture being subdued through Islamic demands of accomodation.  Footbaths at airports, separate times for men and women at gyms and pools, dietary accomodations at public schools, the list gets longer each day.

The demands made by Islamists are always backed up with numerous Qur'an and hadith quotations, but remember: Islam is always the "religion of peace".

Sura 2, verse 193 "And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrong-doers."

Sura 8, verse 39 "And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer of what they do."

The battle is to fight against anything which insults, denigrates, demeans, demonizes, belittles or in any way, from an Islamic point of view, speaks of Islam in any light other than rosy.  What is forbidden, or haram is to be avoided at all costs, no matter how trivial it may seem to a non-Muslim.

Remember, when in a Muslim country we must abide by Muslim norms, and when in a non-Muslim country we must also abide by Muslim norms.  Got it?

Cafe bosses in ‘bacon smell’ row to fight ban

A cafe is to fight an extractor fan ban – after a neighbour complained that Muslim friends would not visit him because of the smell of bacon.

The Snack Shack, on Adswood Road, Cale Green, is to appeal against the decision by the Stepping Hill area committee.

The Planning Inspectorate will give a final ruling by the end of January.

What is most ironic is that the owners are themselves Muslim, and say their Muslim customers do not have a problem with the odor.

It would be hoped that the Inspectorate does the right thing and grants the appeal.  If not, and this decision is allowed to stand, expect more strident demands from the Muslim community and its supporters from Manchester and across all of England.
