The list of European realists is growing, but it may be too little too late. British PM David Cameron, Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, the former PM of Austrailia John Howard and ex-PM of Spain Jose Maria Aznar have all called multiculturalism a failed social experiment, not to be repeated. Now let's add Frence President Nicolas Sarkozy to that esteemed group, he is another Europepan leader who has, belatedly woken up to the dangers of thinking all cultures are alike and equal.
Bravo, Sarkozy! Now if your country would just learn how to make a good car...

Sarkozy declares multiculturalism "a failure"
French President Nicolas Sarkozy declared multiculturalism a failed concept and called for a renewed focus on France's "identity" when he appeared on TV Thursday evening to answer questions from French citizens.
Why you dirty Francophobe!
French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Thursday declared that multiculturalism had failed, joining a growing number of world leaders or ex-leaders who have condemned it.
"We have been too concerned about the identity of the person who was arriving and not enough about the identity of the country that was receiving him," he said in a television interview in which he declared the concept a "failure."
Ah, the nugget. Yet the left and their progressive idiots will see this as an assault on the freedom to be "me", even when that "me" directly challenges the cultural identity of the host country.
Black is white, right is wrong.
