The sea-change in Egypt has given other Islamic countries the cojones to muster the energy needed to try and throw off the shackles of Western imperialism. Tunisia and Yemen seem to be close to the edge, and Algeria has now taken the step of blacking out communications by shtting off the internet and Facebook.
The leaders in Algeria, seeing how this kind of censorship played in Egypt are now trying it on for size. Will Algeria become the next falling domino leading to more and more Islamic countries becoming more Islamic? Probably, but only time will tell.
Watch carefully how Egypt morphes in the next year or two, that will tell us what could happen in Algeria, and Yemen, and Tunisia.

Algeria shuts down internet and Facebook as protest mounts
Internet providers were shut down and Facebook accounts deleted across Algeria on Saturday as thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators were arrested in violent street demonstrations.
Plastic bullets and tear gas were used to try and disperse large crowds in major cities and towns, with 30,000 riot police taking to the streets in Algiers alone.
There were also reports of journalists being targeted by state-sponsored thugs to stop reports of the disturbances being broadcast to the outside world.
