Mushroom cloud jihad

The belief that Islamists and jihadists would eventually get their hands on nuclear materials has, so far not come to pass.  Russian suitcase nukes, yellow-cake uranium, medical waste, even material from nuclear powerplants have all been discussed as possible targets for followers of Islam.

We have been very lucky so far, but we have to be lucky 100% of the time, Islamists and jihadists only have to be lucky once.  This piece is just another piece in the nuclear jihad puzzle.

Round and round the centrifuge goes, where she stops, nobody knows.

World ‘on brink of nuclear 9/11’ as Al Qaeda plans large ‘dirty’ bomb
Al Qaeda is attempting to stockpile ‘dirty’ radioactive explosives that could be used to target British troops or for a larger urban attack, it has emerged.

New diplomatic documents released by WikiLeaks show that U.S. intelligence personnel have been informed of terrorist attempts to acquire dangerous amounts of uranium and plutonium.

The cables warn of a large trafficking operation of chemical weapons material and threats of a ‘nuclear 9/11’ unless the West intervenes swiftly.

Security chiefs briefed a Nato meeting in January 2009 that Al Qaeda was planning a programme of ‘dirty radioactive improvised explosive devices (IEDs)’.

The IEDs could be used against coalition forces in Afghanistan but would also contaminate the surrounding land with nuclear waste for years to come.

Berry, I do not understand why they would contaminate the entire world, as they would have no where to run and survive either.

Such a quandary

This is hypocritical and hysterical. It's hypocritical because it comes from the only country ever to have actually used nuclear weapons, criticising those who might use them. It's hysterical because it's very difficult for non-government organisations ('terrorists' to use your hypocritical phrase) to accumulate radioactive material, because it kills you.

I do not use the word "terrorism" or "terrorist" because they are tactics, not ideology. Terrorism is a method of attack, Shia is a ideology. It may help you to understand the differences.
Iran marches forward, using terrorist tactics to instill Shia ideology.

OK, Barry, I was wrong to say you hypocritically use the word 'terrorist' - you must be the only Zionist who doesn't! But you are wrong about Iran - it doesn't use terrorism in defence of Shi`ism. When there is intra-Islamic violence, it's nearly always the extreme Sunni groups attacking Shi`ites. Like in Iraq. Since the fall of Hussein. Thanks to America.
