If the Muslim Brotherhood is a secular group bent on peace, then I am the King of Borneo

This has to be one of those "What the Hell" moments where, for a moment we think we are dreaming, but then realise that we are not asleep.  Just to set up the dichotomy, here are the words of the Muslim Brotherhood, and what they really believe.

4- Understanding the role of the Muslim Brother in North America:The process of settlement is a "Civilization-Jihadist Process" with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.

This statement goes back to 1991 and is part of a memo on the MB and their grand plan to rule the world.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Pawlenty demands explanation from Obama's DNI

Washington (CNN) - "If he doesn't have a good explanation he should go," Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty said of President Obama's Director of National Intelligence, in an exclusive interview with CNN Friday.

Pawlenty, a possible Republican presidential contender, was reacting to Director James Clapper's testimony before a House panel Thursday. Clapper described the Islamic group the Muslim Brotherhood as "a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and decried Al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam."

The description of the group as "largely secular" raised enough concern that his spokesperson later issued the following statement explaining his remarks: "To clarify Director Clapper's point – in Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood makes efforts to work through a political system that has been, under Mubarak's rule, one that is largely secular in its orientation – he is well aware that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a secular organization."

Why did he say it?  Either stupidity or PC is running rampant at the WH.  Either way, this is disturbing on too many levels to make anyone comfortable.

Read it all.
