Motivated to jihad

The Seattle jihadist Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif needed a little more than just the Qur'an and his attack plan for inspiration.  The FBI says they found "motivational material" at his apartment when they searched it but no word on exactly what kind of motivation the material provided.  It is also not explained what he needed to be motivated about, although his support of bin-Laden and his recorded statements saying he wanted to kill Americans would appear to be motivation enough for this budding jjihadist.

Maybe being a convert to Islam he is just misunderstanding the true meaning of the religion of peace.  Anyone want to explain to him how he as Islam all wrong?  Ibrahim Hooper? Reza Aslan?  Esposito?  Armstrong?  Anyone??

Police seized ‘motivational documents,’ attack plans from Seattle terror suspect’s apartment

Federal investigators targeting a SeaTac man suspected of planning an attack against a South Seattle military processing center seized “motivational documents” and an attack plan from his apartment, according to recently released court documents.

In search warrant receipts unsealed Friday, an FBI special agent investigating Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif, 33, and his alleged accomplice, Los Angeles resident Walli Mujahidh, noted that investigators seized various documents, cellular phones and a computer during a June 22 search.
Charged June 23 with planning a suicidal attack against a East Marginal Way South recruit processing center, Abdul-Latif and Mujahidh have been ordered jailed without bail pending the case’s resolution.
According to the allegations, Abdul-Latif was arming himself and two confederates for an attack against the Military Entrance Processing Station, a Department of Defense induction center on East Marginal Way in South Seattle. Authorities learned of the plan after a man asked by Abdul-Latif to join in the attack went to police.
In court documents, Abdul-Latif is described as a man who idolized Osama Bin Laden and was incensed about American military activities in Afghanistan, Iraq and Yemen. Federal prosecutors claim to have Abdul-Latif on tape praising terrorists, complaining about American abuses overseas and preparing to attack the two-story building.
Abdul-Latif and Mujahidh, 32, are charged with planning to storm the center with automatic rifles and grenades in order to kill recruits and Department of Defense employees working there. Prosecutors claim the plot was thwarted in the 11th hour after another Muslim man approached by Abdul-Latif in late May went to Seattle police, then acted as an informant.
During the recorded conversations, Abdul-Latif allegedly expounded on his desire to kill Americans and said he admired bin Laden.
“Abdul-Latif said that ‘jihad’ in America should be a ‘physical jihad,’ and not just ‘media jihad,’ expressing his view that it was necessary to take action rather than just talk,” an FBI agent told the court...
