"...organs cut out and strewn around her flat..." while reciting the Qur'an.

But..but Islam is a religion of peace!  She must be another misunderstander, there are so many these days.

A horrific example of something gone wrong. terribly wrong in the understanding and interpretation of the Holy Book of Muhammad.

Neighbours of a mother arrested after her four-year-old daughter was killed as an apparent religious offering told how they heard screams from the family's flat.

Nusayba Bharuchi's corpse was found stabbed to death in the kitchen with her heart and other organs cut out and strewn around her flat and lying next to her mother, Shayna.
The 35-year-old woman was allegedly chanting verses of the Koran as her daughter's disembowelled corpse lay next to her in the home in Clapton, East London.

The usual stoning or cutting off of hands and feet does not apply in this case, the little girl was too young to be accused and convicted of the crimes which would cause that punishment.  However....

Yesterday another shocked resident, a mum in her 30s, said the mother always wore a black headscarf with a veil.  She added: 'Usually you could only see her eyes.
'I often heard shouting coming from the flat as she and a man argued.
'Their quarrels would become very heated.'
As per Sura 4, verse 34:  "...and as for women whose ill-will you have reason to fear, admonish them first, then leave them alone in bed, then beat them....God(Allah) is indeed most high, most great!"

Projecting her dishonor on her child?  Possibly.
