Oh Those Cheeky British

There is a very popular TV show from England called "Top Gear" broadcast through BBC-America on cable and satellite.  For those of us who love machines, this is great stuff.  The hosts of the show, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are truely British, and their brand of humor is uniquely european which translates into "what did he say?" moments while watching.  Now the boys are in trouble with Islam again, adding another insult to their last burqa joke.

Now the gearheads from the UK have made more enemies of the "religion of peace" my actually wearing burqa's on the air!  Will the "Islamophobia" never end?

From the Mail Online Dec 28

Jeremy Clarkson and his Top Gear co-stars have sparked religious outrage after dressing up in burkas on the Boxing Day special.

Clarkson and Richard Hammond decided to dress in niqabs, a form of the burka where everything but the eyes are covered, in order to disguise themselves on the road.

They also got James May in on the act when they greeted him from hospital after he fell and hit his head on rocks in the Syrian desert.

Interesting that the hospital would allow females in to see an unrelated male, or even more bizarre, if they knew they were men dressed as females, where were the police to enforce anti-homosexual laws based in sharia?

Islamic extremist Anjem Choudary, said: 'The burka is a symbol of our religion and people should not make jokes about it in any way.  'It would have been equally bad even if they’d not been in a country mainly populated by Muslims.'

We are told the burqa is a personal choice and has nothing to do with the Qur'an or any Islamic doctrine.  Anjem Choudary must then be another in the long line of "misunderstanders of Islam" we hear so much about.
