Sion Owens was a candidate for the Welsh assembly elections until he decided to anger the PC gods. Setting a Qur'an on fire had to have been done with the knowledge that there would be severe repercussions, yet I feel he did it to highlight the intolerance of Islam and the local government to any insults about Muslims or Islam.
Mr. Owens is another in a long line of victims of Islamic superiority.

Sion Owens, 41, was named as a party candidate for the South Wales West regional list last week.
He is due to appear at Swansea magistrates' court on Monday.
A second BNP election candidate has been arrested in connection with the incident, and released on bail.
A BNP spokesperson said both would still be candidates in the assembly election on 5 May.
On Friday, police were given a video which appeared to show Mr Owens dousing a copy of the Koran with a highly flammable fluid, before setting it alight and watching it burn.
Later that day he and another of the party's candidates for the assembly election, Swansea East candidate Joanne Shannon, were arrested.
Mr Owens was charged on Saturday night. He is in custody in Swansea, and due to appear in court on Monday.
Ms Shannon has been bailed pending further inquiries.

If Hitler were alive today, he would be crying "Germanaphobia" if anyone dared to question the legitimacy of his beliefs. His belief in the moral superiority of the Aryan race (and consequently the inferiority of other races) would have gone unchallenged. Mein Kampf would be protected literature and Liberals would defend his rantings as freedom of speech. The only difference between Nazism and Islam is that one is called an ideology and the other is called "Religion". Big mistake!
